An elated Pawan says, "An Emmy for a TV serial is as good as an Oscar for a film. So naturally, I am very thrilled about it and I am sure 'Siddhant' will make us all proud in New York very soon."
'Siddhant' is the only Indian show to be nominated after ten years and Ms. Anurradha Prasad, MD, B.A.G Films said, "B.A.G Films understands the responsibility & contribution of media towards development of the society. With, Siddhanth being nominated to the final rounds of International EMMY Awards, it clearly indicates that we are heading in the right direction."
Looking back, Siddhanth was a gripping story of a lawyer (aired on STAR ONE) who believed the world to be at his feet slowly founds his world crumbling around him... With a talent to twist cases around him to suit his will, Siddhanth was caught in a web of lies, deceit, deaths and downfall, some of which was a result of his own doings of the past... And this time he was all alone-no witnesses, no support system, no defense, no evidence...yet he had to fight his own case... winning was his second identity...and the question was will Siddhanth lose his soul or come out a winner as always.
Pawan will shortly make all of us proud in one more serial 'Thodi si Zameen, Thodi sa Asmaan', soon to be aired on Star Plus where he would be playing a trade union leader, a show produced by Balaji and Smriti Irani both. Well, with such meaningful roles to play in such a short span is no mean feat, well done Pawan, hats off to you
