~Take on Wednesday's episode~

Starts off with Raizadas's entering the temple. Dadi spots a woman in a red saree,head covered by the veil,standing next to Khushi,but she's not able to see her face. It was almost as if Devi Maiyya Herself gave some kind of indication to amma when she suddenly opened her eyes and turned behind to see dadi standing right behind her. She manages to escape yet again.

Once aarti is over,Khushi turns to talk to amma and is shocked as hell to see dadiamma standing there instead of her amma!😛 Raizadas' and Guptas' greet each other.Buaji asks Khush to call amma.

We see Aakash going out to buy flowers and he spots amma going somewhere in an auto. What I liked about this scene was Aakash calling her "amma".😊 Arnav kab unhe "amma" kahega

Garimaji took the auto in front of the shop and the long shot of the mandir shows that the shop is right next to the entrance.So how come Arnav didnt notice her leaving?😕

Khushi calls amma and she makes some excuse of giving medicines to babuji.

Aakash comes n informs that he saw amma and Khushi tells him that she's spoken to her. She calls him jeeju here & though it may have been a slip of tongue from Sanaya,me liked Khushi calling Aakash as jeeju!

Dadi taunts Guptas about Garima's absence. She tells Khushi that she may not have been able to meet her mausi,but Khushi will get to meet Arnav bitwa for sure!And she herself has arranged for the mandir date!

"Humne bahut saaf shabdon me aap se kaha tha ki shaadi se pehle aap Arnav se nahi mil sakti!" If I have to say in mamiji's style,I'll say,laagat hai dadiji ki memory haalidaying par gayi hai! Dadi aap ne yeh kaha tha ki haldi k baad ladka-ladki nahi mil sakte!Haldi kahan hui hai abhi?

Khushi tries to defend herself when naniji,the sweetheart,comes to her rescue. She tells dadi that the decision to come to the temple was Chhotey's.

Dadi says,"Hum boodhe ho gaye hain Devyani par in cheezon ko khoob achchhi tarah se samajhte hain!" Aap kuch zyaada hi samajh rahi hai dadi!

Mamiji asks if everyone thinks Dadiji is a fool? Yes mamiji,she is a big gobhi ka phool! 😛

For once everyone made faces when mamiji passed that comment,no one smiled,thank God!

Paayal tells Khushi that Arnavji is waiting near the car for her.Utne me toh Arnavji ka phone hi aa jata hai. He's restless waiting there alone and cant wait any longerto meet Khushi!😳

Khushi gets angry on him,tells him that dadi thinks she's the one who's called him to the temple.

Arnavji is unperturbed as usual! "So what!? Dadi kya sochti hain isse mujhe koi farq nahi padta!"

Khushi says use toh farq padta hai and then is quick to add "Achchha theek hai,rehne dijiye. Aap gussa mat hoiyye!" Kya baat hai Khushiji! ?Aaj kal aapko Lard governer k gusse se itna farq padta hai yeh humein nahi pata tha!😳She tells Arnav that she's asking for Devi Maiyya's permission for their wedding and its a rasam!

Arnav babua ko puri baat me bas ek hi shabd sunaai deta hai,Rasam! Is baar unhone thaan li hai ki woh ek bhi rasam nahi chhodenge,phir woh Devi Maiyya se permission lena hi kyun na ho?Uske liye unko mandir k andar jaana pade,woh toh andar bhi jayenge! Is baar suhaag raat par koi interruption nahi hona chahiye,Khushi ki taraf se! 😳I hope he makes equally sure to do something so that Raizadas',Aman,shadow ya koi aur unko interrupt naa kar paaye!

In the temple,Paayal asks Aakash to give the phoolmala toh Panditji. Aakash ke haath se maala chhoot jaati hai. Kyun? Turns out he just he saw a nainabraahm drashya,Something jise dekhkar aisa lagta hai ki aankhon ko koi brahm ho raha hai! But no! Its no brahm or illusion! Sakshaat Arnavji mandir k andar padhaar gaye! Khushi ka moonh khula ka khula reh gaya!😛And he was very cool about the fact that he has to come inside,kyunki use rasam puri karni hai! Everyone smiles.

Mamiji asks sasumaa to pinch her since she cant believe it! At this point, dulha - dulhan turn to each other and the look Arnavji gave,usse Khushi ko saaf pata chal gaya ki woh sirf Khushi k liye andar aaye hain! Buaji praises Khushi which dadi doesnt like,as usual!😡 Agar naniji ne na bulaya hota,toh Arnavji toh Sanka devi ko hi dekhte reh jaate!😳

Arnavji copies Khushiji. He folds his hands n closes his eyes.But a second or two later, he opens his eyes and turns to look at Khushi. And Khushi smiles! Hmmm, chori pakdi gayi! 😳 Khushiji ko pata chal gaya ki Arnavji ka dhyan kahan hai?

Arnav smiles as well! And then he turns towards Devi Maiyya's idol and closes his eyes. Khushi,now,opens her eyes and turns to look at him,to see him smiling.

She tells Devi Maiyya "Aap zyada khush mat hoiyye,kyunki yeh sab Arnavji sirf

humare liye kar rahe hain!" And she winks!😉 Kya baat hai!

Waise,I wonder what Arnavji must have said to Devi Maiyya with folded hands n closed eyes?🤔 Something on the lines of, mujhe koi farq nahi padta ki aap permission de ya na de,I am going to marry Khushi anyway!😛 I'm just here bcoz this is a part of pre-wedding rituals. Main ab bhi Bhagwan me wishwas nahi karta! Lekin Khushi ki khushi k liye main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon types..
Khushi,on a serious note,says"Lekin aap hamesha apna aashirwaad in pe banaye rakhiyega!"😊

Panditji comes to give Charanamrit and Arnavji puts forth his left hand. Yeh kuch zyada ho gaya,cvs! I mean,sabko pata hai ki prasad aur Charanamrit right hand se liye jaate hain! Aur Arnavji ne khud,in the past,right hand se prasad liya hua hai!

Khushi showing him how to drink it and then rubbing the hand on the hand would hav been enough! Waise Arnavji looked really cute imitating Khushiji!😊

"Ab shaadi k liye permission mil gayi?Tum khush ho?" Khushiji,agar kuch aur karna ho toh batao,Arnavji aaj rasmo ko poora karne k liye kuch bhi karne ko taiyyar hai!

Khushi smiles in response.

Nani says had Anjali bitiya been there,she would have been elated to see Chhotey inside the mandir!

Paayal reminds Khushi once again ki Arnavji ne jo bhi kiya woh sirf Khushi k liye kiya! Khushi k dimaag ki batti jal gayi! She realizes that even she needs to do something for Arnavji!

I was like,kya yeh Arnav ko kiss karegi?The way she looked at him,mujhe laga shayad kar bhi de! But yeh Khushi hai aur dono mandir me khade the,so it was technically not possible! Ha,I wouldnt mind it one bit agar woh Monday ki date par Arnav ko cheek par hi sahi,lekin kiss kare! And Arnavji wouldnt mind it either!😉

She walks up to Arnav and says "Jaante the,ek din aap humare liye andar tak zaroor aayenge!" Woh toh pehle hi aapko lene k liye andar aa chuke hain, remember ya phir dadiji ki tarah Khushiji ko bhi memory loss ho gaya hai?

She reminds him of the time when he'd bought the mannat k kabootar for the little girl.Arnav is shocked to know that Khushi knew about it! She says "Us hi din pata chal gaya ki ek din aap mandir k andar zaroor aayenge!" Dulha-dulhan smile some more and then proceed outside the temple. Dadi again taunts Garimaji before leaving. This time Arnav doesnt defend Khushi or amma. Why? Pehle mujhe laga ki use defend karna chahiye tha Khushi ko,instead of telling Aakash lets go! But phir mujhe laga ki woh kya kehkar defend karta Khushi ko. Yeh teesri ya chauthi baar hua hai ki dono families saath me hai sirf amma nahi hai,and of course, babuji nahi hai. Despite getting her the nurse,if she doesnt turn up,what can Arnav say about that?

Back at RM,Anjali di comes home n enquires about gharwale and NKbhai. When HP says everyone will come late and NKbhai has gone out,she decides to go ahead with her plan. She asks HP to take leave and meet his family. HP says he cant leave her alone,to which she says that she'll manage. Oh no HP!U invited the wrath of Arnav upon urself by leaving di alone! Jab Arnav ko pata chalega woh bahut naraz hoga!

Then we see di making tea and serving it with glee to Shyamji! Aabhas looks dapper in his old look.

I just dont want to get into the premvaartalaap of Shyamji and Rani sahiba!😡

What was significant about this scene was snake convincing her that he needs to b with her & Rajkumari.And Anjali di saying that Chhotey has misunderstood jijaji! Nahi,nahi! Chhotey has misunderstood his di! Usko lag raha hai ki di bahut bholi hai, dudh ki dhuli hai,par aisa hai nahi! She had the guts to call Shyam right inside the house, His house, when the family was away! how I wanted the family to reach Shantivan and spot those two together! 😈But alas!

~Take on Thursday's episode~

Starts off with Anjali & Shyam.

Rani sahiba is showing off the juraabein she made for Rajkumaari to snakeji. Snake feeds her the medicine.Is baar toh Anjali ko dawai lene k baad chakkar nahi aaye! How come?😕 Inhone dawai kya khilai,chakkar gaayab!😲

She is about to show him the bedsheet she's made for the baby's palna,when the Raizadas' ring the bell. Thank goodness!

Many forumwasis were surprised with the Raizadas' ringing the bell and not entering the house like they did during the rosepetal scene. Arnavji ne jaldbaazi me darwaza band nahi kiya hoga.But di is smart! Snake k andar aate hi darwaze ko lock kar diya! Hence they had to ring the bell!

Anyways,di panics that Raizadas' r back sooner than she'd expected. Snake,the ever over confident,feels its somebody else! Outside,the Raizadas' r wondering why HP isnt opening the door?And we see Paayal opening the door with the spare key. Inside, Anjali di ,with her rapidlyworking brain,deduces that they may b having a spare key and so they may enter and pakdo their chori any moment!Snake decides to hide in dadiji's room. While Anjali di decides to go to the main door.

When mamiji asks why she's sweating, di smartly changes the topic and asks about Chhotey. Aakash says he's gone to office for some work. Aur mujhe pata lag gaya ki aaj shaayad Chhotey ka ek hi scene milega ya shaayad koi scene nahi milega. My optimistic heart refused to believe that the episode could b totally Arnavless and so till the second break,I kept hoping for a jhalak.But alas!😔

Anyways,coming back to the epi,dadi looks at the two teacups n asks if any guests had come? Anjali handles this one as well. Aakash asks about HP but she again avoids the question.Paayal notices something on the cups,probably the fact that lipstick mark was on only one cup, and asks about it when di feigns dizziness. Waah waah! Bahut sahi disha me ja rahi hai sayaani di!😡

Aakash calls the dr. and dadi,mami n naniji zabardasti take her to her room. Good for her!😈She turns around to look for yeh and snake shows her a 👍🏼 after which she's relieved.Yeh kya? Bitiya ko peechhe chhodke,dadi,naniji,mami sab aage chale gaye?Jise le jaane k liye aaye the use hi bhool gaye?😲 Naniji came back n took her inside.

They tuck little bitiya into bed,ask her to take rest and leave to have tea.

In GH,amma says "Humse aur sehen naahi hota! Par humri bachchhi,humri Chhutki!

Hum apni bitiya ki khushiyon k aade kaise aa sakat hain?"She tells babuji how she had almost enountered dadi at the temple. She says "Humari ki hui bhool aaj humare saamne hai. Hum tab bhi jhoot nahi bolna chahte the aur aaj bhi nahi..."

What bhool is she talking about? I'm sure the kahani about Khushi's parents dying in a car accident is fake. Ho na ho, dadi r definitely in the know-how of her parents's death and amma doesnt want Khushi to know about it. Aisa kya hua hoga?😕

Amma says how she'd promised to her sister to take care of her daughter and give her happiness. She says she's ready to do anything for Khushi's happiness and Payal's grahasti!Babuji understands her plight and assures her that he is with her.

What I loved about this scene,was the focus on the family picture on the wall behind babuji,whenever babuji's face shot was shown! I have a little complain, though. Pyumoriji is a great actress,no second thoughts on that! But when she switches from hum to main durin the course of the same dialogue,it sounds very odd. This has happened quite a few times with her of late. I hope she's careful about it in future. Coz if she says main once or twice,its fine,but when she uses hum for half the dialogue,then continues saying main for 3-4 lines and then switches to hum again,it sounds odd.

Buaji and Khushi reach home. Khushi asks about the nurse,to which amma replies that she' sent her away coz she's going out with babuji. Buaji and Khushi r surprised. She lies about some dr., famous for healing paralysis patients, camping on the outskirts of Lucknow for one week.She says she needs to take babuji to him. Buaji says what about Khushi's wedding? Amma tries to explain it to Khushi that she cant loose such a golden opportunity to treat babuji. Khushi & buaji r in a dilemma.

Back at Shantivan,Anjali is worried as hell about Shyam and thinks of calling him. We see Shyam thinking about calling Rani sahiba. Waah! Kya connection hai?

He discovers that he's lost his phone somewhere. Very good!😈

Di is about to go in search of snake when Paayal,dadi,naniji n mami come with the dr. and take her inside the room. Dadiji discovers a phone outside the door and picks it up. Haay re Nandkisore! Snake toh living room me baitha tha na, toh phone Anjali k room k baahar kaise aaya? And cvs,dadiji toh fullsleeves blouse pehenti hain,hain naa?It was so obvious ki the hand which picked the phone wasnt dadiji's Congress ka haath..!
Waise Anjali's dialogue "Dadi abhi tak toh upar nahi aayi par kabhi na kabhi toh upar zaroor aayengi!" caught my attention. May b cvs were trying to say ki abhi toh dadi ArHi ko support nahi karti hain,lekin kabhi na kabhi in future,zaroor karengi. Wishful thinking!

At GH,buaji says she wants Shashi babua to go for the treatment but she's in a dilemma coz if Garima n shashi babua r not present for the wedding,Arnav babua's dadi will taunt them to no end. She says she'll go with Shashi babua.

Amma says she needs to go with him.Khushi suggests that she can talk to Arnavji and postpone the wedding. Amma prevents her from informing Arnav or anyone else at Shantivan.

Khushi is sad that they wont b present during her wedding. She says "Hum jaante hain ki aap humare amma-babuji nahi hain,lekin aapk siva humara kaun hai?"

I loved that both amma n babuji were slightly surprised when she said that! Pyumoriji n Sanjayji emoted beautifully through their eyes!👏

Babuji gives his blessings to Khushi. Buaji tries to cheer up her Sanka devi.

"Ee jo pahad jaisa sarir liye tumhre saamne khadi hai,tumhri buaji,tumhri kuch naahi laagat hai?" Awww buaji!I wanted to hug u like Khushi did for saying that!

Then she says "Hum hain naa,kaahe chinta karti hai?" Just what anyone in Khushi's position would have loved to hear! I love u buaji! U r so sweet!🤗

Buaji asks amma to meet Khushi's in-laws before leaving. Amma says they're leaving that evening itself,so how can she meet them? Buaji asks her to atleast talk to Khushi's in-laws before leaving.Amma says she'll do that after packing is over.

Amma aise kar-kar k kitni baar khud ko bachayengi?

Haqiqat chhup nahi sakti,

Banaawat k asulon se,

Khushboo aa nahi sakti,

Kaagaz k phoolon se!

Back at Shantivan,Dr. declares that Anjali is still weak and the medicines r not showing any effect on her. She asks her to stop taking those medicines.Then a voice was added lateron,where dr. says she'll prescribe new medicines for her. She asks her to take care of herself.She asks the family to keep her happy.

Paayal asks di, "aapko kuch chahiye?" Sigh! It reminded me of the night scene when Khushi kept calling Arnavji and asking "aapko kuch chahiye?"

Back to the episode,in the living room,dadi very cleverly hints that Anjali needs Shyam's love when she says "Pure parivar ka dhyan aur sneh unhe milna chahiye! Parivar k har ek jan ka sneh!"She suggest that they should have Anjali's godhbharai soon. Mamiji is excited about it. Naniji suggests that they keep mehndi n godhbharai on the same day. Oh no! Phir se ArHi k function me di footage khaayegi!Aur saare parivaar ka dhyan di par hoga!Waise,godhbharai aur mehndi, dono hi ladies only functions hote hi. Me wonders Arnavji kya karenge tab? Aisa toh ho hi nahi sakta ki woh Khushiji ki mehndi ko bina dekhe unhe jaane de!😳

Mamiji approves the idea while dadi's looks clearly say that she doesnt approve of it. Achanak se dadi ko mamiji k hello-hi-byebye se itni problem kyun hone lagi?😕

Nani asks Paayal to inform her family about it.

At GH,amma asks Khushi to remove her earrings.Khushi is confused but she does that.Amma gives her her mother's jhumkas.She says she wanted to give it to her on the morning of the wedding,but since she wont b there that time,she's giving her those now.Khushi assures her that she would b wearing those jhumkas on her wedding.Amma is really happy! She herself makes khushi wear it and comments that Khushi is looking as beautiful as her mother did when she wore them!😊

This scene made me very emotional,coz this reminded me of my grandmom. Before she passed away,she asked mom to make sure that I wear the bangles on my wedding which she'd worn in her wedding.

Apart from this personal memory,the scene made me emotional when I saw a mother sacrificing for her daughter.Seeing a daughter getting married is probably one of the most joyous occasions of a mother's life. Hats off to Garimaji! She's ready to sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of her daughters' happiness!👏

Amma says "Tum janti ho na Khusi?Hum tumhri shaadi me nahi bhi rahenge, tab bhi humara man yaheen rahega,tumhare saath,hamesha! Jaanti ho naa?"

Amma says she's very happy for Khushi.When buaji told her how Arnav went to the temple for Khushi's sake,she was all the more happy.

She says "Humse ek vaada karo;hum tumhari saadi me nahi hai,isiliye tum udaas

nahi hogi.Tum aisi hi khilkhilati,khus rahogi.Vaada karo?" Khushi nods and hugs her.

Somehow I feel this dialogue and the previous one has a past connection. Arnav & Anjali's maa commited suicide the day Anjali was to get married. She may b have been planning to commit suicide and so.. May b she also would have said something similar to Anjali?Or its possible that I am reading too much into things.

Arnavji nahi aaye,poore episode me ek jhalak tak nahi dilkhayi! At the end of the epi,I was left singing this tweaked version of Balwant Kaur song:

Thank you Priya for raising some pertinent issues that most of us feel are plaguing our dear show but somehow the creators are either overlooking them or missing them bigtime. You covered everything I have in my mind. I'll just talk about the ones that stood out to me the most.

You know since morning I've been watching the Payash wedding festivities and trying to gauge why something that should have been the most breathtaking with such beautiful leads and great actors feels so bleh! The biggest difference I saw in the previous wedding and the current wedding was that each of those scenes were given their due time, there was no rush. Every small scene was subtle but important for depicting the whole environment of an engagement.I loved that after the ring ceremony the bride groom went around the room taking all the elders' blessing as a couple together...and then the siblings hugged...very simple but poignant moment in our tradition.

What happened with our leads' roka?... Buaji and Khushi walks in...greeted by Maamiji and Daadiji only...Arnav comes and touches Buaji's feet but nothing from Khushi's side...the engagement happens and in walks the dholakis and dancing starts(the song was perfect... they could have choreographed some eye communication between the leads esp around the part of the lyrics which resonated with these two)...even the dance was so random ...nothing compared to the Salam e Ishq sequence from Payash engagement...WHAT THE!!! was my reaction ...what was the rush for the pool scene? it could have been carried out in the next episode.this is not a 3 hr movie for heaven's sake...but a 5 episode/week serial...time is not a constraint.

I agree fully with you about the disconnected scenes. The transition from the pool scene was horrible..Khushi pushes ASR away and no reason given pulls his hand and he follows her without qs and then they awkwardly come down the stairs...and all of a sudden Anajli's medical 'emergency' takes over...another What the moment...just a few of many during the whole week.

And I've already ranted Friday about the mood spoiler pics! I repeat IPK PR sucks!

The only saving grace has been the beautiful scenes of the leads...and no wonder when one goes for a break there's nothing to hold our attention...as frankly I can go through a badly directed Barun-Sanaya sequence but not a L-o-n-g Dashali sequence...they should have done like they used to do it before...have two conflicting scenarios juxtaposed so that audience still gets the story without being disgusted and changing the channel. I would have watched the scenario in Daadi's room had it been in the middle of ph call between Arhi or a beautiful GH sequence...

Agree 100% about the outfits too, especially Sanaya's...same comparison...she had such beautiful outfits and hair during each of Payash rasams...and now during Khushi's own wedding rasams...her outfits are cheap velvet cutouts in different primary colors with gross tattoo(Thanks Shweta!) on her sleeves...where is the originality?.

I hope they go back and redraft their plan...if ofcourse there is one...frankly this one is not working. I dont watch other shows so cant compare...so I drew the comparison to what they have done in the past that worked to what they are doing wrong now!...

Priya , sorry had to vent out had no intentions of using your thread for my negativity , hope you understand my frustration.

Dhamakedar Friday turned out to be a boring very predictable turn of events. We all knew Shyam was instrumental in getting Dadi to RM and Anjali was seeing him wah re wah kya suspense, CV's take a bow.

Cat and mouse game again in RM between Shyam, Anjali , Dadi and NK . Shyam taking Dadi's ashirwad and Anjali happy to find out from her husband he got Dadi only for her Woh hi hume samaj sakti hai ''Anjali , you got to be kidding me after 14yrs she is the only one who understands you . What happened to Chote '''''.bhool gaye kya

staying in his house freebie , he paying your credit card bills , you being driven by a chauffeur around town to meet your sleeze bum . You have the audacity to accuse your brother of lying what the h*** is this madam last when I learnt the definition of lying to fit right in lady.

Dadi really aap Arnav aur Anjali ko Khush dekhna chahati hai ok you I give it to you '..have figured out correctly how Anjali will be happy what about Arnav have you even bothered to talk to him '..jo dekhna chahati hai woh hi dekhti hai right Arnav she really doesn't care about you. Anjali and Dadi you both deserve Shyam good luck ladies

Garima, now which game lady guess son-in-law will again bail you out. Every time Dadi is mentioned Garima has a mild attack Khushi who is so perceptive has not caught on her mother's reaction itni pyaar me doob gaye ki maa ke pareshani nahi dekhti.

Payal and Khushi dialogue sweet but come on SP do we really need a typical jhetani dialogue here.

Arnav and Nk '''''..Black suit , Nk bhai grey is also Arnav's new black please don't loan him your clothes we like our man in his suits. Notes To The Cv's :

Can we please have some Arnav / Aakash scenes remenising Akaash's wedding . this is Arnav's wedding baba or have you forgotten.

Aakash/Payal scene where we get to see some each talking about their sibling and how happy each one is to see them getting married. This would be a stress reliever for us with all this drama hanging around us. Toda khushi ka mahool toh bananeka padi na?

I have not watched many hindi soaps but have been told characters are introduced and disappear , I understand but Mamji is the person who took Anjali and Arnav in his home when all doors were shut. He has caught Shyam many times in an evil act'.making duplicate key, the pool/wire trying to electrocute Anjali, Shyam looking for bhichoo in Kitchen and Mamaji walks in ''''..Wish if you had to get him out would someone in RM at least mention his whereabouts during his bhanja's wedding was he not the one who asked ARnav to answer his Aamji's question when Arnav married Khushi the first time around?

Right now for me no matter what Anjali can't be redeemed . When the CV's decided to turn her grey after Shyam thrown out of the house ,I would have welcomed that . There is no consistency CV's what happened heard few negative comments and turned grey to white overnight hmmm😡

Why has the Raizada's not questioned the Gupta's about Shyam. Not a single member of the Gupta's have asked about Shyam during Shagun and Rokha ceremony.

From what we saw today , when Payal tells Khushi about the goodh bharaye Khushi's expression shows she is feeling bad for Anjali and the baby please Khushi don't you go telling Arnavji to get Shyam back.😭

Suvi was telling me all about BV promo and what's happening next week '.CV's do you raelly think IPK will even stand a chance now with no promos a thakeela promo last week , the kiss scene should have been your promo not Dadi/Garima cat mouse game please Gul are you so busy with Arjun ki apne baby ko bhool gayee.😭😡

Hey Priya! I completely agree with you. CVs have a great plot but somewhere or the other they've done something wrong which is why the current story is not clicking. The introduction of Dadi was just plain bad and even Shyam's dhamakedar plan revelation fizzled out. I'm not sure what exactly they're doing wrong but they need to fix it soon.

I'm very disappointed with the way they're treating Anjali's character. She was such an upright, soft and lovable woman with high values and warmth and affection. But what are we seeing now? She's betraying her brother's trust. The brother with whom she shares such a beautiful relationship. The brother who would do anything for her happiness. The brother who sees her as a mother figure. She is cheating him and the rest of the family who adore her. I can't believe she's sneaking out to meet Shyam! And that she terms the whole fiasco as a misunderstanding! I mean there is NO misunderstanding. Both Khushi and Payal clearly revealed each and every lie of his and there is no scope of terming it as a misunderstanding. It seems like her brain went of to sleep during the entire revelation period.

About Akash and Payal. They've completely ruined this beautiful relationship. It had so much promise and potential but they just had to spoil it! I'm just glad that they put in the Khushi Payal scene. It was a much needed break from all the drama.

You didn't mention the NK Arnav scene. It was fab! NK is such a breath of fresh air and his poking Arnav was so cute! And Arnav was awesome!

"Yeah. This grey suit." 🤣

Another heartwarming scene was Khushi counting her money and then inviting (read ordering) Arnav for a date. So adorable!!! These two will never fail to cheer me up. And Khushi's dress in the precap!! 😲 What taste! I wonder who chose it for her?

I hope CVs pull up their socks and give us something we can connect with better. What with full on drama Godh Bharai cum Mehendi, I'm a little scared. Let's just pray that our show doesn't lose its way again.

What a BANGGG ON Crooner Priya! Loved what you addressed through your Dear Creatives Crooner. You nailed it girl!

While you have covered everything, I just wanted to share my points for your list to them, just to get it off my chest 😉.

Dear Creatives Team of IPK,

Real life is not always kind to us. We get to see some actions of our dear one and guess what is the thought process & emotions behind it. One doesn't always get the full picture, we are second guessing life and interpreting others thoughts & feelings to the best of our abilities.

A big lure of stories and movies is that they provide moments of clarity that we are not blessed with in real life ' we want to see whole haul which we sometimes miss in the rigmarole called life! I do hope as a very intellingent creative team you don't forget that important aspect. Most of your audience got attached to this show because it's a love story, an engaging one to boot.

It's essentially a story of 2 scarred individuals (like many of us in real life) who find love against adverse conditions. The audience is here to see feelings, admission, dreams & gestures of love. Some of your audience is still looking for love in real life, some have love in their life in different non cliched forms, some are yet to believe that it can exist in real world. Irrespective of what life makes them wonder, most of your audience turn to the show because ultimately we want to see Love, the all conquerer, in all its glory. We want to see the endearing proganosists (who you have brought to life along with your lead actors) be celebrated in love. Presently that celebration of Love, of Arnav & khushi's love story is falling short. We are still 2^nd guessing about it, we are not able to understand if you want to rejoice in their love or just pretend it's the background for some other stories.

If it's the latter, then you don't know the pulse of your audience.

If it's the former, then your excution of rejoice & celebration of love is falling abysmally short.

For me it is enough that Khushi wanted a wedding with rituals (a point which was inconsistently portrayed) for the wedding to happen. We girls can be silly that way, wanting a fairytale wedding & all (most are cured of this ailment once they go through the pains of smilining at millions, dressing up like a christmas tree, etc etc but I digress)'.and Khushi is an adorable but a very silly girl alright. Now that you have embarked upon the remarriage & wedding track, a larger commitment to it would be appreicated. The present execution makes me feel the creatives are still undecided if they really want to portray the wedding. It's patched up and very evidently not something you are very kicked about penning. If there were pressures of channel that made you walk down this path, then you should have pushed back more earlier. But once the decision is taken, you cant let your audience know that your heart is not on the track. After all it is your baby, you need to take accountability of which ever track you dish out and ensure the best product is delivered.

It is the wedding of your protagonists, the anchors of your show. I doubt any of us started watching the show for a Garima or Naniji even though we love them a lot. Its Arnav & khushi which hooked your audience to them and its their wedding NOW. Can we have a little more enthusiasm, a little more joy & happiness around this track please? You loyal fans are making a choice everyday when they turn on the TV at 8:00 PM and watch this show. It would be nice to acknowledge that choice and give them what they desire. Else, like you have pointed out earlier ' they do have a choice!

I have always been happy with whatever tracks CVs have given ' but today the screenplay & the execution of the present track is making me very worried. You really need to fix this - Please!

Looking at the TRPs you must have gathered that you have lost quite a few fanbase in the last few months. I know of multiple people who do not have the TRP meter on their TV's but have started watching something else at 8 or are skipping the slot entirely. This track has the potential to bring back some of the lost fanbase. Some promo's focussing on the same will help. Significantly!

I just want to clarify (since I don't trust my communication skills much), no way are we looking for fantastical portrayal of life. We want to see reallfe reflection in the shows & movies to make it relatable but without the encumbers of second guessing loose ends. But your portrayal of reality is inconsisntent to say the least.

In reality, a character like Anjali would talk to Buaji & Garima to understand if a Shyam stayed as PG in their house. No matter how much she is in denial, it is impossible for anyone not to probe on this, especially who wants to believe her husband. She is bound to investigate this aspect just to prove to herself that Shyam is correct. Why are those ends not being tied up? Anjali's charatcer was pivotal for this story, butchering it is not going to help TRPs.

As for Khushi's clothes ' enough has been said already. Unfortunately, you probably believe that her uniqueness can only be portrayed through uniquely obnoxious outfits. Time you took some calculated risks on that front and believe in her characterization through her antics as much as your audience does.

Not having a matured love story between Akash & Payal is a big loss for you and your audience. It would give you a parallel track which is always needed in daily soaps and could also be used to showcase how love can exists in different forms, and highlight the larger than life qualities of Arnav & Khushi's love story in comparison. You have good actors in Akshay & Deepali, please leverage them.

Thank you for everything that you given us so far ' we love this show and know the potential it has and hence our request to fix the open ends. Not everybody providing feedback is against the show. Some of us really committed to this show and we are in it together. We want it to succeed almost as much as you do. We trust the intelligence & creativity of CVs of IPK, it's probably time you extended the same trust to your audience and their feedback.

Not one of those epis for which I'd go ga-ga about.. Blame it on certain someone's absence from the screen for one and a half episode.. Yeah, that's the effect hottie has.. Saw the first half with zero interest.. Last few mins and Precap were the prize for bearing those 15-20 mins today..

Some thoughts ~

1. The train got cancelled due to bad weather and so Garima can't run and will have to attend the wedding; though she's still trying to think of a way out. I wonder when will the face off happen between her and Dadi.. Will it be the day of wedding or Mehendi?

2. So Dadi and Shyam are in this together. Glad that atleast one mystery got solved. Forum has coined a new name for the trio - DASHALI 😆 strange are the ways and so is the name.

3. Really liked Abhaas in his monologue while hugging Anjali. Fab expressions too! He looked scary and villainous.. So he's planning something BIG on mehendi which will enable his entry back into RM.. What could it be? An attempt to harm Anjali and her baby? Or as per spoilers, an attempt to harm Arnav? Either way, Dadi will bring him back. She's his ticket to RM.

4. FINALLY! The glimpse of THE MAN. Ignoring the editing glitch, how cute he looked with his "I guess so yeah"... 😛 And KKG-soon-to-be-SR is learning fast. Making patidev dance around her little finger, forcing her 'haq' over him and asking him out.. Husband loved it.. Anything for his Khushi.. So after a wait of more than a year, Arnav and Khushi are going on an official date. FINALLY!!

5. NK is one character I dnt get tired of watching. And his scene today with Nannav was adorable.. Arnav is all (for the first time) confused over what to wear.. A date with dear wifey and hubby seems to can't decide on his clothes. 😛 I was laughing throughout the scene.. And when NK poked Arnav with that added hooo hooo hooo I was 🤣 🤣

6. Precap - What a vision in black! A perfect colour coordinated couple. Sanaya looked absolutely gorgeous. FINALLY she got a good costume. And what to say about Barun.. Hottie in black AND blue.. Killer combination and such a LETHAL pair..

CVs - A sincere request.. Don't ruin it for us on Monday with constant interruptions from the Jhas. For once atleast, let this couple have their moment.

Priya, loved every point that you made today to the CVs and all are pertinent...one more question I would like to add...

What is the great secrecy in not letting the audience know of the upcoming track... we on the net have some idea but the average audience is perplexed and cannot understand what is coming up and so the bad TRPs. For Eg: we know that there is a remarriage coming up but have the audience been given any idea in the promos? Even the phera promo does not say anything about it.😕

Are they so confident of their product that they have gotten complacent?? The careless and rushed screenplay and direction do point out to the same. Sometimes I tend to understand the questions from a section of the viewers if IPK is ending soon. End of rant😉

Absolutely great points for the creatives Priya. This story has caught on imaginations and if a team has been bestowed with this gift, it is inevitable that their audience are more passionate than most. But to take their passion for granted is a dangerous sign.

The problem with IPK as I see it is, the story has several layers, many strands and every character has depth and none of them are cardboard. Why am I saying this is a problem? Because their biggest strength is becoming their biggest weakness! They ought to give enough respect to their own baby!! Take a look around the other serials at primetime, serials that get the kind of TRPs that make me, a die-hard IPK fan, totally jealous. They have cardboard characters, there are no shades of grey in many, except the leads perhaps and a saas or two, other charactes do not need screen space neither is their character as deep. And yet, something obviously is working and one should not deny that it is. That is another dangerous thing to do -- to not give enough respect to your competition.

IPK has been written like a long novel and a visual medium does not give the luxury of exploring each character's story in isolation, ignoring the lead characters. They are trying to transpolate something which in written form is very strong.. but when it is transformed visually, at present, the strength is getting dissipated because visual medium demands more interlinking, a stronger screenplay that DOES NOT stick to extrapolating on single characters while ignoring the rest.

Some other points:

* They have to just look at their own previous episodes to know what is perhaps going wrong. It is not too late. Only one roka has been done and it was salvaged because of the leads' chemistry, spot-on acting and a great scene. In the initial episodes, there is such judicious blending of narration of different characters and never once do you feel like changing channels or not wanting to know about the other characters. That is the key and they already have it with them

*About Anjali.. many people have had problems with what they feel is the dilution of her characterisation. Personally, I feel, Anjali's character is being developed very well... she is as grey as they come and the sore point, as mentioned again, is the execution of adding depth to her character; She is a cloistered woman who has built up a world but that does not make her evil or weak in character. .It is possible for an individual to be sweet and warm and yet mentally ill somewhere. I don't think the audience have trouble in focussing on her for around 5-8 minutes of 22 minutes but that should be done in sync with her character.. by giving her stronger dialogues and ensuring a stronger presentation by the actor.

* IPK is the only story on television right now that can be watched plainly as a love story and also watched like some of us do, at a deeper level . This is extraordinary and I only wish and pray that its makers give their baby the respect it deserves

* About promotion, it is not just important to have quality promos but what is vital is print promotion! I see no print promotion of IPK whatsoever. Internet audience are there, and they will continue to be there.. what they need to focus on is to get their TRP audience back.

I do hope this weekend has been a time when they have re-thought about these points that you have raised and help us feel joyful and anticipatory for THE wedding! It is Arnav and Khushi's jing jang wedding folks!!! It has to crackle, sparkle, and glitter!!!!
