I loved today's episode.... A domesticated Arnav cleaning up after Khushi and quietly taking her to bed....How heartwarming was that? Khushi slowly warming up to her Aaqa too...😳

I had my batti jali moment too. Something just clicked for me today; I think I am onto something here until CV's burst my bubble again. But I think I am beginning to get these 2, can't seem to decide which one is more pagal! Their pagalpan does challenge us to think & debate. What makes them click? And I think I found some answers....😆

Briefly about today's episode before I ramble with my thoughts. The scenes I really loved. Yes, who would disagree with me on this one? The opening scene- He knew his pagal biwi wouldn't stop calling unless he forced her to. Phone call wasn't the answer, his presence was required. She quietly drifts off, after offering to sing a lori...😆

Both holding on to each other after all the nok-jhok....Both waking up still holding on to each other....Does this sound like an insensitive husband who doesn't care?

Aadat si hogayi hai; her sleeping Tae Kwondo style and him holding on to her hand...😳

The other scene was at the office - she repeats all his dialogs. "Jab mein baat kar rahi hunt ho beech mein mat boliye"; "mein apni kismet khud bana sakthi hun...." This man is slowly taking over her life....He is growing on her....😳 I didn't care much for the nautanki that followed, throwing stuff around the office.....That was in poor taste... Instead they could have shown a hurt Khushi...😕 Thappad scene a little too cliched for me...After today, I can foresee Anji's acceptance of Khushi after Rakhee...Anji will do it for Chote, she really adores her bro, no questions on that one. But only to be ruined by my man Shyamu....

Onto my thoughts on this track.... I could be completely off on this one....I am no intelligent CV....Just trying to decipher what the intelligent CV's have portrayed.....🤣 Feel free to dismiss it with a grain of salt.....😉

Arnav

Arnav is trying to make her realize that she needs him as much as he needs her. Yest, was a day when he tried to make her realize how his physical proximity affects her. The phone call at night, he asks her if she missed him. She paused to think & she realized there was some truth to it. He is trying to make her realize her feelings for him. He has tried to show her how much he cares about her on her b'day. The flowers, the bag, the cake but all in vain, unappreciated.

She said she appreciated a simple gesture, a genuine heartfelt wish...He did that too although he thought she was asleep. She heard it but wasn't too forgiving..... She asked him if he can buy her smile. So he tried ways to do that too, he laid a bed of rose petals to make her feel special, bought chanas...She hugged him, it brought a smile alright but she still left... So he followed her to GH but she had built a wall around her, not exactly telling him what is on her mind. He tried helping her there too but nothing seemed to work...

He finally found out the real reason was indeed the contract. She isn't coming back....He decides he has tried her way, now he will do it his way...After the Shuklaji incident; he thinks it is her ego. So he is trying to break that ego; make her succumb to his will. She eventually will return coz she has nowhere to go....Her parents unaware of her situation; she is not welcome at the GH for a prolonged stay. I don't blame him; he isn't the brightest bulb when it comes to women😆 All he has known is Anji, who can be easily manipulated with a spoon of her favorite kheer. He knows she loves him but he doesn't know how to get her to share her deepest feelings.

Things he knows about Khushi

Khushi confides in him when she is angry - She told him about her broken engagement when she was angry...She told him about Shyamu when she was super mad....Makes him want to believe she will confide in him when she is angry..... She will not spill her gut out yet coz she hasn't reached her boiling point. But it will come....

Seeks him out when she feels helpless - The times when she felt helpless she came looking for him....When she found out about Shyamu during the puja at RM, when her father was sick and when Shyamu hugged her on the terrace....Every time she went looking for ASR....He is her protector.... He has concluded that her helplessness will make her come back to him.....So making her feel helpless has now become his mission; his biggest ammunition is now the Gupta's. She married him for Payal, she will return to RM for the Gupta's, yet again helpless...This time he has good intentions although the means don't seem to be....

She loves a challenge...They both do...Their relationship has thrived on various challenges. She has won some while he has won most....It is a battle of Dil vs dhimaag. We all know dhimaag wins most battles in life....He is right here, her ego takes over...She never likes to lose to him.

Khushi

ASR calls it Khushi's ego but it is really her swabhiman/self-respect. She should have corrected him that day but Khushi isn't the brightest these days....There would have been some punch in the dialogue....Yes, there is a big difference. She believes in working hard and paying her bills; she said that when she resigned. She will work hard but she will not be anybody's naukar.

She takes pride in being independent, she is a self-made woman. To her, taking money from anyone is equivalent to begging. Even after marriage, she never really considered him her husband. She borrowed money from him, hoping that she would someday return the money. She argued with him at the hospital when he tried to pay off...She said she would not take bheekh from him but it was a loan when she borrowed Rs 300 and now it's the rent.

He wants her to claim it from him rightfully, as his wife but she will not coz she still has the contract weighing on her mind. Di is not the only reason for her runaway status. Since the contract ends she cannot take money from ASR nor can she go to RM. Again it is her self-respect being the sticky issue..... She said it today too, in a few days all will be well. He has said several times that she is his wife but he never took back those words he said the night before her b'day.....The contract....As far as she is concerned, the contract is still on...

But he is clueless....He still thinks Khushi is being the obstinate brat, he will bring her home...He does not know the underlying issue....He knows the normal Khushi not a deeply disturbed Khushi....All it takes for him is to utter the simple words; you will always be my wife. Maybe he would if only he knew...

The mother in Garima ( maybe she is w/ASR on this one?) also asking Khushi to return will only put pressure on her to return....When Khushi feels helpless; Arnav has been her only hope & he knows it. It was his plan & he executed it with great precision and right amount of sensitivity....👏 If she goes with him, she is buying her parents peace of mind....She will be left with no option.

I see a gentler Arnav pacifying her this time and making it up to her when she is home.... He will not make her feel it is her majboori unlike all those other times unless CV's have RTR on mind. But I don't see RTR... Khushi also knows he wants her for the right reasons but she wants to hear it...😳

When it comes to money it is her self-respect but when it comes to returning home, it is a little bit of everything her ego, self-respect and about winning too...A big part of their relationship has always been about winning....Each one trying to score over the other....But since he makes calculated decisions, he wins.....She goes the emotional route and loses...Who will be left standing this time? They both are winners this time coz he is fighting the battle not just for himself but for her too.....His victory will be her victory....😳

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde have come out to play today. Lots of random and incoherent thoughts so feel free to skip today. Thanks to Ippy, Monalisa, Mandy, Moxie, Vee and Veeps for nudging me to write! rant hi sahi..

Just briefly touching on the episode: I liked it. Things moved beyond the 24 hours and on to the next plan. Bedroom scene was cute, showed some growth in the relationship, a level of comfort that is quite visible on both sides yet the denial of the obvious - they are made for each other. How can two imperfect people be so perfect for each other? The office scene although highly inappropriate, was a complete seethi maro moment! the transformation of KKG into KKGSR or better yet Mrs. ASR. To top it all, the ASRification of KKG was complete by the added touch of 'WHAT THE!', 'Jub hum baat kar rahay hain to beech main mat boliye', 'hum apni kismat khud likhna seekh gaye hain'. And than came the thappad! total paisa vasool, popcorn moment. If you watched the scene just for sheer entertainment purpose, you got your money's worth. If you were expecting anything else, well.. sorry to say you shouldn't have. More on that later.
Anjali's character is turning out to be an irritating mystery to me. One moment she is ok with chote spending the night at Guptas and the next, she seems disappointed he followed through on his words and that too with her permission. Liked Nani, bless her for trying to maintain Anjali's sanity and give her perspective but who knows what is cooking in her brain. Her selfishness is soon to reach a boiling point and I have an uneasy feeling of her demands on Rakhi. If she wants Shyam back I am all up for it, actually eagerly waiting for it. But if it is something else, I am not sure! it is still unclear to me. Resentment for the 'other' woman is still there and to what extent is yet to be seen. NK's comedic relief is always a welcome and the dig was good enough for kicks - 'aap bar bar gayab kahan hojawat hain' Exactly! why the hide and seek?

I promised I will do a bit of analysis on ASR's plan so here it is. Take it with a grain of salt, this is how I understand it:

ASR is a clueless idiot. He has no idea that Khushi in her idiotic and unrealistic mahaanta has left the RM for Di. Yes, the contract talk did hurt her but she has forgiven him for far worse. She just doesn't want to be the reason for a rift between the siblings. Just like ASR, she doesn't listen either. She has made up her mind and that's about it. ASR thinks it is all about the contract. He knows she loves him, he just needs to get her to accept it. If he can get her to see that she belongs to him, all roads lead to him only, he can win her back. Whether this works or not, is yet to be seen. Why the sudden need to have her back at RM? Two reasons:

1. Deep down he is insecure that he will lose her. This comes from the possessiveness of his nature. I shed some light on it last week if anyone is interested you can read or just ignore.
2. Once she is back at RM, she will not have any excuse to leave! She already played her ace card by using Guptas as an excuse. This time where will she go? Even if she tried to cook up some lame excuse, he will see right through it.

Even when she is at the GH, he is constantly in her face. Riling her, agitating her but doing it with keeping her dignity and self-respect intact. It is already starting to make a difference. She is out of her shell, she is 'winning' on her own terms, he let her earn the rent money AND in the process he is trying to get her to accept him and their relationship. The bedroom scene today was evidence. He knows he needs her in his life but she needs to realize that as well. He is trying to break her ego, get her to realize that they belong together. For them to function as individuals, they need to be together. They are completely messed up! but the only way they can survive is with each other and for each other. So what if ASR is so-called blackmailing her to come back to RM? if she is the only person he can live with, so be it. it is between the two of them. He can blackmail her and she can turn around and accuse him of something heinous. If it gets the job done, fine by me! What goes of my father? It is fiction after all and doing so wouldn't be out of character for either one of them!

Now on to the crux of the post. Mr. Hyde's turn - Taekwando style!

Note to CVs:
What the bleepity bleep sadistic, bizarro world are you living in? What the hell? Seriously What the! Why are you so hell bent on murdering your own 'baby'? Meri samajh say bahir hai. The whole self-indulgent, eccentric and 'dekhna hai to dekho' attitude is duly coming across the screen in the execution and to some extent in the writing as well. I enjoyed the episode because I was able to pick up certain hints. I was able to connect the dots going as far back as last week. I understand the characters. But do you REALLY think your average viewer sitting in front of the tv or on internet is in on your 'plan'? Do you really think people are understanding the motive behind the means and that it is not only a justification for the end? Do you really think after a 10+ hour work day, people are sitting in front of their screens to decode a Morris code? That would be a resounding HELL NO!
Given Khushi's character was never well-etched and always followed the mantra of 'sub chalta hai' but didn't you have a very well defined character for ASR? At any point in time did you ever think the mighty ASR will be once perceived as evil and a devil incarnate? Someone who is willingly making lives miserable? Nahi na.. than why is it coming across that way? Just alone from last week and up until today, I have a good idea what his intentions are with the Gupta house. There is no way he is going to let that family suffer and throw them out of the house BUT does the audience see that? No. So why not make a conscious effort to let people in on his plan. Why leave it to viewer's interpretation? You are not Nolan and this is not Inception! whether the totem stops spinning or not isn't the case here. People accept what they see on the screen. Bas. You show them an arrogant ass trying to evict a family for seemingly selfish reasons, no one is going to make an effort to look behind that and see the true reasons and I honestly don't blame them. Take the office scene from today, Khushi was in full form! Old Khushi was back with added Mrs. ASR touch but the focus was clearly taken away with the lame attempt to get her to the boardroom. Seriously? You are going to announce in front of the whole staff that you want the woman to go home with you and then expect no one to comment. It got the job done and I enjoyed the scene for entertainment purposes but was it really the only way? I am not going to sit here and justify the characters or the storyline anymore. You are not paying me and there are other social causes to take up! Agreed it is not possible to give a 100% stellar episode everyday but the story and the science of storytelling should be evident everyday regardless. If a viewer has signed up for a love story with a tinge of drama, he/she should not be left scratching their head thinking what will happen to Buaji or who the eff keeps calling Anjali!
TRPs come out today and soon you'll have your answer. But the bottom line still stays the same. Product needs to be commercial, people need to enjoy it without having to question moral and social values because that is not the intent of your show. Layering the story with so many mysteries, hidden meanings, symbolism is analogous to you digging a much deeper grave for yourself. Stop digging, get out and focus on the execution.

Note to the audience:
I know the customer is always right but for once, just once would you please just enjoy the 20 minutes of entertainment that is on the screen? Accept that it is fiction and these characters don't exist in reality. Khushi is not your average girl next door, ASR is not your average business tycoon and Raizadas are not your round-the-mill happy-go-lucky family. I have never read a M&B, as a matter of fact I had never even heard of a M&B before IPK. Yeah call me an alien - I grew up reading Newsweek, Encyclopedias, History, Poetry and other useless shit. My dose of romance came from exposure to Hollywood at an early age.. Anyways I digress. The point is from what I have heard and read, IPK is a desi-fied version of M&B. So if a fictional character is so much adored and loved in the books, why such kolaveri on the screen? For your own sanity, stop drawing parallels with reality. If it is still too much to bear, you have the most wonderful gift in the world! freedom and right to choose. Watch what makes you happy and doesn't make you cringe. Do it for you.

Sorry for the rant! khair meri kaun sunta hai. Bakwas karna I guess, meri aadat hai.

I loved tonight's episode, I wasn't expecting much and that probably worked to my advantage again. Things moved along quite well and the pace was decent and not rushed like its been in the past

Episode begins with Arnav reaching GH to stop Khushi from keeping him awake all night. He orders her to sleep which she happily does since she's exhausted, scene that came next was just too adorable!! It wasn't that he spent the rest of the night that I loved, it was the morning scene where he wakes up wondering why Khushi sleeps taekwando pose as opposed to how she sleeps at RM. Khushi awakens a bit taken back but the comfort level remains, she did not pull away her hand from his and called him out on his own sleeping habits to which she has never complained about. Both have become used to it, the comfort level continues to grow between the two.

Khushi has her ego like ASR but I couldn't help but like the scene where she lit up with pride at getting her hard earned money, she was so proud of herself but that happiness was short lived when she realized the rent had doubled in a matter of days. Khushi set out to confront the developer and was left shocked that it was none other than her husband.

The office scene was a delight. Khushi stormed in angry but quickly cooled down, she again hinted about the contract marriage soon coming to an end so there was no need for this but that calmness soon turned into furor given his attitude. What came next was the KSR version of ASR, she completely became him with the don't interrupt when I speak, I write my own destiny and the what the, it was too good!! Khushi even threw things in anger like he does, no wonder he had a huge smile on his face but one has to wonder what he would have told Khushi had she not cut him off.

I'm not surprised at Arnav's reaction to the employee referring to Khushi as an item, this is ASR who has always been possessive about Khushi even before marriage so when someone dares to call her an item it just rubs him the wrong way. I know the employee had no idea, but to ASR it was a knee jerk reaction.

It is now the fourth day since Khushi walked out of RM. Khushi awakens to learn its only the GH without water and electricity, doesn't take her long to know ASR is behind this so what is he up to? Is this his way of getting her back to RM? If so, he may be successful since Khushi's family has mentioned its time to go home. Khushi is running out of lies and cannot stay there the remaining days without getting busted by either the Guptas or Raizadas. There seems to be more to this though, Arnav would not just buy over a company and become the owner of GH, he would not hurt Khushi and purposely push her buttons without there being a purpose to it so there is a bigger picture here and possibly more who are aware of his plan.

Other mentions, NK is back! I loved the mention by Nani about how he goes and disappears, we get it CVs well done!! He's always a joy to watch and I hope he sticks around as a permanent character. So Anjali continues to get mysterious calls only this time its on her cell which makes logical sense for a change! She tries to give an explanation for the call despite no one taking much notice of it. Guilty conscience much? Its so obvious this is Shyam and he is the reason behind the change in her mood, her bubble is back intact for now.

Sari, yet again, your post again gets higher trps than the episode today. Bonus brilliance in your character sketches as well 👏

A decision was made today; let's judge each episode by itself and not as a precursor to a track or a key element in a story. I realized that doing this tremendously lightens the load on the brain -when one isn't trying to figure out how exactly is something supposed to be the means to an end, one can enjoy the blockbuster 20 minutes the way it is meant to be, perhaps. Particularly when one has no idea what that "end" is any more.

So, total paisa vasool episode, according to me. Complete with a thappad-gate lite. Turns out that the TRP Rakshas (again, not devi) approves of ASR slapping someone around. No Shyam? No harm. Just find a hapless employee. Add in the ASR swagger in slo-mo in both directions. Amezing.

On a more serious note, the take-home message, ok, scratch that, it should read, the take-to-hangout message from today's episode was that our favorite couple have now skipped a few or 8 stages of married life. They are already at that point where they have become each other's "aadat", starting to exhibit traits of the other. I loved how ASR, while initially miffed at her nodding off in a microsecond, quietly tidies up, puts her to bed like it's just another night in the Arhi household, settles down next to her and drifts away immediately as well. I loved how his initial consternation the next morning at her accusation right away turns into fond acceptance of his new habit -holding her hand while sleeping ❤️

There is the itch to write, nay rant more, but keeping in my mind my new resolution, I shall revisit this rant in 10 episodes.

A few additional musings:

So, Raksha Bandhan gets a mention, but nothing yet on Teej. Doc, sharth a bust then?
Was it just me or did NK notice some black lentils with the calls to Anjali's phone?
Much ado about nothing WRT Khushi's new ensemble. I'll go ahead and risk my hangout membership by saying that I much preferred it to some of her other atrocities. Yellow is Sanaya's color.

Sari you read my mind today...Today was about discovering Arnav and Khushi all over again...a year ago we fell in love with their innocense and insanity...today we fall in love with them all over again for their love for each other and their understanding of each other. Its all very delicate and nazuk right now but this is what will make them each stronger in due time. Loved your take...it is truly a masterpiece 👏

I loved the episode...it was fast paced...well done and overall pretty great! 😃
Arnavji had to show up at GH at some point...who wouldnt really? Cute wifey all up and tired thru the night calling a husband in deep slumber...Arnavji has a heart afteralll and bhai if she sleeps in chain so can he 😉 So he asks her to sleep and just just crashes leaving behind a mess and we all know Arnavji is neat and tidy so he cleans up...picks his Khushi in his arms and takes her to bed...he tries to walk away but she holds on...like he is holding onto her with the fake marriage contract...with irritating her and showing up again and again at GH so he can be with her and see her...seriously iss pyaar ko kya naam doon??? 😍 He doesnt want to walk away from her now...he wants to sleep in peace with her and this is the best place for it all to begin...😊
They wake up in each others space and arms...his hand under her head...her hand and leg over him...the Taekwondo Reference was hilarious 😆 He wonders why she only does it at GH and not at home...their home...she wakes up startled to see them in such a state and gets up and starts straightening her self when he questions her sleeping style and she say's its out of habit...then she questions him about holding her hand and he says i guess its a habit too...yup he accepts it...she is becoming a habit of his...shes part of his life, heart, room, bed and everything in between...without her his life is incomplete...and holding her hand gives him comfort knowing that she is one person in his life that cannot leave. His mom left him...Di can leave too...but his Khushi cannot...he wont let her and thats why he continues to fight this battle for her... He order's her to go back to bed leaing her speechless and a little mesmerized by him. The girl is falling for him 😉
She wakes up to a ringing phone and there he is again...she is all annoyed but he just wants to make sure she receives 24k at the end of the contracted period. And after she receives the packet she accepts that Lard Governor itne bhi bure nahi hai...From Dhak Dhak to hum aapse nafrat karte hain to itne bhi bure nahi hai is definitely progression in my books. She likes to play hard to get and ASR in his own way is starting to impress this girl. Khushi is a strong willed soul...she always has been and always will be...when she didnt know answers to why he married her she went all psycho but do you blame her? But now that everything is out in the open and everything is faired and squared away she can be true to herself...and not pretend that everything is ok...now she can be the real Khushi and the real Khushi loves to be teased and play games with her Lard Governor and heck I love watching it! 👍🏼
As the old landlord comes in she tries to throw his 24K in vain to find out new developer asks for 48k...roll ees...told ya so...moving on...she barges into AMEZING Developers office to find out that developer wants her to come home with him in order for her to get the rent lowered. A fuming Khushi walks into an office full of poeple only to find out shes yelling at the Lard Governor all over again. Shock, Awe, Horror with that ghastly outfit again. 🤣 Yes SI looks lovely, yes i enjoyed this segment...but i cannot still get over this outfit! Why the yellow is still beyond me...anyhows...She say's shes shadishuda and he completes it for her...she has accepted the shaadi in her heart and the reaction is what exactly ASR wanted...atleast for me it was...how else is he supposed to execute this game if he cant see her reactions to things and situations 😉
The 2 namuna's are at it again...why are doing this...what am i doing...i told you itl be ok in a few days..all i am saying is come home and get the rent lowered...no way...okay then no choice left time to level the damn house...a flustered in hock and confused Khushi looks on as he adds that her family and her will end up on the street...now folks everyone went looney over this line...but please keep the faith...this is Arnav inside ASR and no they are not one and the same...this is Arnav with the ASR mask and he will NEVER do anything to hurt the Gupta's...he just wont...no more discussion on this 😃 He thinks he's won but na...that would just be TOO easy for either one of them...this is what excites both of them ...she throws out another challenege and bam bam Boom here they go at it again! 😆 She'l wait for a bulldozer, a truck and a Giant ego to show up again...ah the ego...😉 Her's is as big as his...she will write her own destiny...they learn from each other...they share with each other and they are becoming equals faster and faster...this is not about Haq...or right's...this is about partnership...a lifelong partnership that they can both respect...because love without respect is incomplete and he is making Khushi grow up and by challenging her he motivates her to do bigger and better things...👏
She hates it when he stops her when she is talking to him, she get's mad when he smirks and this is so the Khushi of last year...she gives it back to him...and she shares her anger with him...she doesnt hold back from him when she is upset or hurt...and this is exactly what he want's...his smirk is proof his plan is working...no he doesnt want her to breakdown and admit defeat...he wants her to be strong and win...because in her win lays his love...in her win is his win...and if she loses he will lose with her...its that simple really...there are no winners and losers here there is just companionship, partnership and love at stake and well ASR never loses not in war and definitely not in Love 😉

These 2 are SO similar they are OPPOSITES!!! I've said it before and I say it again...an angry Khushi makes a mess and well ASR doesnt like messes she purposely just destroy's everything in her path and here we go again with the dupatta being stuck...and the look of horror on her face...the episode begins with his What The and mid way thru she has her own What The...you see how similar they are??? 😆 He teases her again...thankfully there is no hot tea involved this time...and then like a perfect sweet hubby and a through gentleman he opens the door for her to leave with satisfaction on his face...not because he harassed her...because slowly but surely his old Jhalli is coming back and he is happy about it 😊

And for those that were missing the real ASR...did the slap answer all our questions??? 😎 But I liked the wo meri patni hai...dialogue 😆

Anjali is a mess...for me this show has no Anjali no more...there is Rotri Rani who is a looney and shes starting to become a martyr of some sort and eh not fun...creepy continues for another day...🤢 Wasnt this same woman not believing her brother who ever so softly reminded her the Rakhi ka dhage ka matlab to her a couple of weeks ago??? and she like freaking ignored it all...aaj isko kya hua...maybe pig's will fly one day 🐷

NK is much needed for this Anjali ko jhelo andolan...without him Anjali is truly unbearable...👍🏼 After all he truly is a Hawa ka Choka...🤣

The last segment was cute Khushi hs nightmares from their conversation...and wakes up tormented...bade aaye Arnav Singh Raizada...she doesnt fear him anymore...he's more talk anyways...just like her...😆 BTW Where did this new door come from in Khushi's room?? CV's and crew...yaar thora dimag lagao...ive noticed so many weird things in the set's in the last 2 episode but am holding them to myself and not calling you out yet...but yaar hum andhe nahi hai! Just saying 😃

And the nautanki continues again...and again kal ka intezaar 😃

Just a side note:

In this world of fiction we need to realize one thing...it is fiction...and it isnt a book that has a definitive end...yes i have my opinions and my high and low days...everyone does...we dont judge a book by every page written in it but by its entirety... i say we give it all a chance...with the good come the bad and i think we owe it to the character's that we love and watch everyday this much...let's not judge them yet...let's wait and watch what unfolds and only then it will all make sense.

Whattay Episode. I loved it.😃

Starts of with a harassed Arnav who arrives at GH to put a stop to Khushi's antics.

And tells her she can go to sleep. So, Khushi does that and now holds the world record for the fastest time to fall asleep.😆

Another Lifty and Khushi, although unconscious, gets Arnav to spend the night.

Next morning, And Arnav wakes up to a Khushi sleeping in her trademark "Taekwondo" pose.

And he asks her why she sleeps all sprawled at GH but not at RM?

And she tells him its her "aadat" and backfires at him as to why he is holding her hand "Jab aap humara haath pakar kar sote hai toh hum kuch kehte hai kya?"

and he replies "i guess, yeh meri aadat hai"

Whattay cuteness.😳 Both are so comfortable with each other now and don't mind the invasion of each others personal space. What a contrast from the first GH night and the awkwardness between them.

ASR tells Khushi to go back to sleep as part of the 24 hour deal and Kya smile thi! A genuine one this time😃

If she is anything like me, then being allowed to sleep should have earned ASR loads of brownie points but of course she's not.😆

Next scene, she receives the money and even after all the harassing and hard 24 hours she went through she came to the conclusion "Laad Governer itne bhi bure nahi hai"

because he lived up to his bargain and she hers. And she earned the money she received, which kept her self respect intact.

This proves that no matter how much she gets annoyed by ASR and his antics, the end result will always be the same for her. Acceptance.

Until Laad Governors next game. Doubling up the rent.

A mad Khushi ends up at the developers office, where she gets told she needs to go home with the boss. (ASR tu Bob the Builder kab se bangaya??😲)So she storms into the boardroom and flashes her martial status, to her husband.

Khushi who has difficulty accepting ASR as her husband in front of him, proudly flashes her status in public, showing that she subconsciously and wholeheartedly accepts ASR.👏

But Di ke Liye. She denies.

Oh and Champuji calls the bosses wifey an item. Bechara. ab thappar kha! Fiteh mooh😈

No one calls Khushi an item except ASR. Samjhe tum! Namoona!

Next step, switch of the water and electricity. And we get an extremely furious Khushi.

If ASRs game plan is to make Khushi as mad as possible, so she accepts her haq and married status completely. It is working.

Yes ajeeb method, but a good method because this is signature ASR and Khushi pushing and pulling.

Arnav bringing Khushi back to RM via romantic, flowery and cheesy means will not work for this girl. For a year, we never saw any lovey dovey cheese fest. So they're is no reason for it to be brought in now. No way Sir.

She will appreciate it and be touched by the gesture but you won't get a reaction.

But if you challenge her, she will fight back.

And this is how they fell in love.

First fall in hate and then topple over the thin hate line into the love pool.

This is what makes this a hatke love story.😍

And why we love this Show.

No new VM. Just one of the old one, you've probably seen. I just felt the song was so apt to the track now so i added it. Maybe i'll have to redo it with the present scenes😃

I like the positivity on this thread.. I wish I could see the serial the same way you do... perhaps I should visit this thread often to see the serial from a different angle... 😊 thank you for the space you give us to air our views..

Last Wednesday, I had my hopes up for the serial.. I thought the serial was finally getting back on its track... I was anticipating a super duper track where ASR will woo Khushi and we could be privy to a big fat Indian wedding.. my happiness was short lived... Once again the CVs have proved me wrong... I am disappointed with the current track...

What we see now is a powerful business tycoon harassing a poor girl who is trying her best to make ends meet... Sure she refused his offer to pay up the rent... not because she has a big ego but because she does not want to be indebted to the guy who is her husband by contract... She is trying to get away from ASR thus, she does not want to form any sort of dependence on him... Which is what any self-respecting girl would do..

we are told that they are still in love each other and it is their love that is being played out on the screen... What love is this where the one with the power and money is taking advantage of his lady love? This serial has sure changed the definition of love.. I thought love was about longing to be with the person whom one loves, it was about honesty, trust, honour, dignity, respect and sexual attraction. .. What I see here is a complete contrast... there's lots of sexual attraction, loads of it... but nothing comes out of it ..😆

The ASR who shies away from discussing his personal matters with his family is now washing dirty linen in public... Slapping his employees, blackmailing his lady love, her neighbours and her friends just to prove his point to Khushi... he wants her to be dependent on him... he wants to compel her to return to RM.. Perhaps he has never heard the saying " If you love someone; set them free, if they come back, they are yours, if they don't, they never were" ..

why is ASR finding it hard to tell her that the contract was a mistake and that it is now of no importance, all he needs is Khushi by his side; with him because he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.. he could tell what he told his Di.. his breath stops when she moves away from him... why is he finding it hard to tell her that this marriage is for keeps ...

I know, I will be told that this is ASR who does not know how to express himself.. Really? This is the ASR who finds it very easy to express his feelings, his love for his Di... he does not find it hard to apologise to his Di even for the mistakes not committed by him...albeit he finds it difficult to do the same with Khushi.. the last few episodes showed us the comfort level between them.. these two have come a long way... they are now able to share a room... they are able to share a bed and sleep holding hands... so why can't he open his heart out to her? I find it hard to digest .. Is it easier to smirk and play silly games than having an honest open conversation or am I being stupid trying to find logic in a serial?

Even the tender moments are losing it's meaning ... How is it possible to be tender with someone one moment and be rude and manipulative in the next scene? .. ...

In the pre-cap we saw an ASR who had locked Khushi out.. how could he and who gave him the rights? Even if he is the landlord, shouldn't a notice of eviction be served and time given to Guptas to pay up the remainder of sum owed to him? How can he take the law into his own hands? Does this seem logical to anyone... have Guptas colluded with ASR to force Khushi back to RM?

We have 10 more days for the contract to expire... Would ASR realise his mistakes and correct them.. ? would we see the heart-to-heart conversation we are longing to see?

Liked the episode. Too tired to make a full post but will just highlight points I liked.

1) The first scene, everything was just perfect. He barges in, shuts her up and asks her to go to sleep, which she promptly does. Oye!! So he cleans up after her (Is that really you, ASR😲??) , picks her up to take her to bed. She clutches his shirt and then cuddles up to his hand. The man gives up and goes to sleep holding her hand... Can it get any better?? Yep, they wake up and holy mercies, another conversation!!!!! 😲 Two days in a row... Is the light bulb flickering?? Will his shatir dimaag make the connection between why she sticks to her side of the bed at RM while she is all over place at GH??? Hamari aadat hai... 😳

2) The man makes an "indecent proposal" to his lady, she seemingly accepts and wow, was that a look of disappointment that flashed on Arnie's face when he offered to send a car?? Of course, Khushi corrects him on what she is accepting... his challenge and calling his bluff. Hum intezaar karenge.. aapke bade bulldozer ka, bade truck ka aur aapke bade ahem ka... Absolutely loved Khushi going postal with the ASR mannerisms, tone, talk and best of all, the ASR BG tune while she is trashing stuff around...There is no fear of the guy anymore, is there?? Arnie's goading and kinda sorta indulgent smile was just enough to send her into the temper tantrum... and didn't it look like that was what he was waiting for and expecting?? For her to accept tha challenge...

Loved these two parts of the episode... Anji has stopped making sense to me. At this point, I am not sure the softening is to get us through Rakhi or if there is a point here. Yeah, yeah, blank call et all. But the way I see it, that whole rigmarole should get her more worked up to get her bubble back. Oh well... we will know soon.

And lastly, for our kid cynic who had a moment of frustration with the forum/viewers lack of understanding of ASR motives. My only point would be, why would you want to take up the task of defending ASR's action?? There is no defending the undefensible and that is the whole point.

We spent 300 episodes watching the man go from being the cold hearted cad who didn't believe in lesser emotions like love to falling irrevocably in love with Khushi, complete with vishwas pe wishwas. Just because he has acknowledged that emotion for khushi does not mean that he automatically went from being the flawed man he was to Mr.Right.

Where we are in the story right now is watching his transformation into the kind of man Khushi deserves, from the laad governer to Arnav ji, from the Shaitaan to her rajkumar. And that transformation is going to be as painful as his falling in love with her was.

The office scene may seem like badly executed but what that scene laid out was ASR's thinking. He is still going about it the wrong way, by trying to corner her into admitting her place in his life, in his heart and in his home. All she needs to do is tell him, she is now the co-owner of the house by lieu of being his wife and it is all over. So what does he do?? Send her an indecent proposal through the PA and busies himself with a board meeting knowing fully well, she will barge in. He gets mad at the employee for making a derogatory comment about her but does not get that he put her in that position in the first place.

And that is his attitude and understanding about the whole marriage thing. In his mind, alls well that ends well. Yes, he made a mistake but really, they are both in love now , so everything should be hunky dory. So yes, for him, the end justifies the means.

And where this track is heading for is a very rude and satyanash facing of facts for Arnie boy. No, the end does not justify the means and every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

OK.. that was a long one and I have no effing clue if anything I said is even making sense to you all, but it makes complete sense to my drained mind... So, I am gonna go my SKD and catch up on everyone's comments tomorrow morning after a cuppa which will definitely make me more articulate...

Hi Sari,

Thanks for the thread and a very good analysis on whay you think is at play here.

Like you I will start with todays episode. Other than the first 5 mins of ArHI and Anjali's pink saree remaining was in poor taste and execution. The office scene was totally distasteful starting from Khushi's dress, to her brattish behaviour to Arnie's provocative invitation to his slapping an employee. The house rent scene is begging for closure as it is getting stretched. An ok epi. not worth holding onto further.

And like you I too have been thinking of the intent of this entire track. For two individuals who love each other why will not a direct conversation help . Why this convoluted route ? Most of it is because it will lack drama and what is the fun if things were cleared out so easily. So here is my take...

Rewind to where it all started - Khushi I will win you back and make you part of my life forever.

First time this resolution was made when Khsuhi was ready to walk out of Arnie's life for the sake of his Di. She knew with her in the middle Di would never be happy in turn Arnie will be unhappy. Had Arnie not thrown the contract on her face she would have been content with her fate till things got better. Knowing he hurt her Arnie vows to WIN her back into his life beffore the contract is over.

His attempts on her b'day, the gifts , the flirting does not impress her . After the conversation with his Di on "Khushi being the love of hsi life " he tells a sleeping Khushi that now onwards things will be ok as Di is ok with you ...so problem solved and there is not need for you to leave. Thimgs will be ok going ahead.

Next morning Khushi packs her bag to leave for GH well understnding that Di still is not ok with her despite her short converstaion and she is KKGSR for the next 13 days only. Despite several attempts by Arnie she resists telling him the real reason till he figures it himself. Then comes his renewed vow - I will win you back Khushi...

To me this WIN is not the usual challenge / game both play. This is for Arnie to make Khushi "Want" to come to him willingly . For her to "Accept" willingly that "Won't mind being your wife ..." , for Khushi to "Trust" him that he will stand by her .

His recent line to her " Khsuhi you will have to stop backing off when I approach you ..and you will have to learn to walk with me ..." This is what he wants of her. , to stop running off and to confront her feelings and walk with him!!! Not because of Di and not becasue of the contract , but becasue she willingly wants to sepnd the rest of her life with him.

Ths entire display of power and money is not to break her or take away her self respect but for her to get beyond her ego and look past it as Arnie has learnt to do so and in the process has learnt to love her dearly. He knows he has forced her to a marriage before but this time he wants to ask for her hand when he is very sure that she will say Yes. That will be his WIN .

Apologies for my rambling. I may not be making any sense at all Sari or maybe completely wrong in my thinking. If this WIN is about Upmanship then I will regretfully say I have misjudged this show completely.

For someone who wasn't going to write today, I ranted an awful lot on page 1. Sari - loved your post! hit the nail on the head! my thoughts exactly but I couldn't articulate them today. Thanks for putting everything so nicely. You and I are on the same page here. I am still unsure about Anjali, need to wait it out a bit.
