Today's epi brought me back to last Tuesday's epi...even after all the drama, the love has only grown...I said it then, you said it today, hun...now they are "whole"...and nothing else matters...

Ah, fabulous start to the Crooner, Priya! Had missed being a part of them these last few days!!😭 Your title says it all on so many levels (no pun intended)! Before I get into the epi, I really am at a loss in comprehending what the audience considers "good" drama. I know you touched upon this in your Crooner late last week; I did not have a chance to respond to it then. I understand that the 8:00 o'clock hour boasts of some stiff competition, but with performances like we saw this past week, together with a gripping plot, I have no faith in this "black hole" of a monitoring system called TRPs. It is mind boggling for me to even understand that people watch another show at that hour! This week has started off brilliantly just as last week did, and I can only hope people start waking up & tuning in! If they don't, oh, it is so their LOSS!!!

Trust. Bang-on, Priya, it all came down to trust! A circle of trust is what we saw today...Finally, completing the picture for two, and becoming an increasingly difficult word to absorb for others. Family ties-they bind us together, but in a moment, they can seemingly rip us apart! An emotionally gripping episode, par excellence! Priya, I had talked of the "antecedents" a long time ago...That day in the GH when Khushi built her castle in the sky; her version of a married reality so far from the truth...At the same time, we had Arnav reliving the terrace scene in front of his eyes--unable to forget! Today, an end to that past; we saw Khushi's first step in her home towards a new reality. In the midst of all the pain, the anguish, nothing else mattered but what they shared. Trust was the underlying motivation to correct all wrongs from the past, to face painful realities, and finally, to carry her over the threshold. Coming to your quote for today--to become "whole" again! It was a "dream come true" episode for me!😊

Parallels: That very first scene when he apologizes to Anjali for her pain, "But I trust Khushi...Mujhe poora yekin hain Khushi joh keh rahi hai woh sab saach hain." An unequivocal declaration. Unbeknownst to him, a line drawn right there...He asks to talk to her alone...The parallels to that one day when love scattered into so many pieces was breathtaking today. Arnav's confiding in Anjali brought me back to that very scene during Payash's wedding when he so desperately wanted to tell her everything. He relived that terrace scene again today as he spilled the truth to her about her reality...His head in her lap as he tried to find solace in uttering something so sad and heart wrenching. A selfless catharsis with such an utterly painful edge to it! But he knew he was the only one who could do it. Who could get through to her. It needed to be done! "Har Raksha Bandhan mein maine aapki raksha karne ka wadha kiya tha...aaj woh nibhaana pada." Protecting her and the baby. After all, he DID NOT WANT HER TO SUFFER ANYMORE as he had done all those months before the truth was finally revealed to him. Yes, who better to understand the brunt of that burden of truth than him? Who better to understand that this revelation would be of the most devastating kind...That there would be no getting out of this one any time soon. Who better to understand that the sister who dotes on him would completely be destroyed and turn away because she felt betrayed by her own...Such a big price to pay for the bitter truth: "Aap mujhe apne aap se alag nahi kar sakti, di" "Please!" He pleads with her as she takes her hand away. This is as difficult for him as it is for her. Her one shoulder she could always count on. Her brother, her child, her rock. Yes, trust used to live here...but not anymore. She can never forget her own love, she will always love him. The Black queen will do everything to bring him back! Her brother had his reasons for degrading and discarding what was most important to her. How could she possibly forgive him? Anjali is now in the midst of the darkest of winters possible...her pain justified!

Letting Go: Trust playing hide 'n seek yet again when Payal-Aakash try to level with each other. Aakash seemingly unable to comprehend what he had heard...such harsh realities...the whys never seemed to subside. Yet, Payal knows she did what she had to do. Aakash will understand in due course. The implications for all so astounding. Naani and Maami remembering happier times...the face of deception still not evident to them. How can someone who was such an integral part of the family, who was so important to all of them, now reveal the darkest side possible?

Absolute Reflections: He sits back and reflects on all that has passed...all that he had to do..."I can't see her like this." He knows he will have to do whatever it takes make it right! This is his fight for his sister...On the other side, Khushi sees her love...remembers all that he said..."Yeh doh insaan meri zindagi mein sabse important hain"...The very man who had once told her that his sister meant everything to him today gives her the same mantle. Does she dare acknowledge his words to be true even though deep down she believes them? Still coming to terms with her own moment when she stepped up to reveal the truth...In the process, marking a distance in the most cherished relationship after her own. The seeming guilt and the burden of it all causing her hands to tremble as she carries that tray.

He senses her presence. He feels her anguish. Her eyes never betray her emotions. He knows it now. No words spoken, because none are required..."Kuch bolna zaroori nahi...the same words he said on that hillside a few hours before, now quietly expressed through his gaze. He takes her hand as she turns to leave. The very hand he had unceremoniously dropped on their wedding night when she asked him why he married her. He draws her close...the stars are watching...puts his arms around her. Her fingers curl and brace his shoulder...She finds complete solace in the only safe harbor she has ever known. He doesn't want her to shed anymore tears; she has him now...The orphan has come home and she will never be alone.

Coming Home: Every ounce of his being moves to protect her, to shelter her from her pain as he lifts her up and carries her over the threshold. From the poolside into the room. The man who had once relegated her to sleep outside, now lifting her and bringing her in. Together in their room. Marking a new beginning. The stars are watching it all, and the Rabba Ve plays in the background. As he brings her in and rests her comfortably on the bed. On his side of their bed. Drapes her in the covers so that she can finally sleep and he can hold vigil over her. She doesn't let go of him. Takes his hand. Love, desire, thanks...all so evident in those eyes as the female voice in the Rabba Ve beautifully completes her thoughts. What started outside now seen its fitting end. As always, she is the most content when he is by her side. All those weeks spent looking for him, waking up without him by her side...now she can finally lay herself down to sleep. His eyes surprised and acknowledging of all that she pleads of him. He gives it to her completely. No words required. They've come full circle.

Other thoughts:

~Shyam is OUT! Kicked to the curb for now! Ah, ASR doing what he does best!!🥳

~Baniyaan gate is FINALLY OVER!😆 Not since the shower scene at GH have we been so thrilled about ASR's "cleansing"!🤣 I am one of a small minority who actually wanted that thing off of him!!

~The "Arnav" was heartbreaking to say the least...

~Naani reaching out to Khushi was absolutely heartwarming! Loved that brief glimpse.

~The sisters finding much needed comfort in each others arms-finally a throwback to the old IPK!!!

~NK, a true Kanha...observing everyone's reactions. Knows that the pain is still so raw, and that there is so much healing still remaining...Loved him in the epi!

~Undoubtedly, the most beautiful Rabba Ve to date for me...The female voice only makes the pathos of their experiences together that much more beautiful! Just loved the symbolism...outside to inside... If this is what passion can do, I say please, please, please give me more...No respite for the thirsty!!!😳

~Priya, I had John Denver's "Country Roads" in my head today...Awww...😍

~Precap & its truth aftermath for their marriage...the next chapter to be written for ArHi once Naani delivers her judgement. Level 3 is about to hit warp speed!

Ah, this one belonged to the team entirely!!! Take a bow, PH, CVs everyone behind and in front of the scenes! Spectacular performances across the board, but today some tour de force, unbelievable performances! Before I go any further, I would like to give a shout out to Abhaas for his performance on the whole! He had a few "off" moments, but I felt he nailed his dialogues on Thursday and Friday! Back to today, I can only imagine how drained Daljeet and Sobti were after filming that particular scene. I couldn't see the acting today; I felt it with them completely. Having a brother myself, seven seas away, the Raksha bandhan dialogue had me bawling. Selflessness in every step. Sanaya just looks so angelic in white...How could he not fall in love with her? Brilliant delivery on her expressions today: Khushi's pain through it all...! Her vulnerability, distress, concern, guilt every single emotion worn on those delicate shoulders. Every moment held in by that brave soul finally came crashing down in those arms! Oh, my Lord...That was just such a beautiful moment...The "togetherness", the chemistry, the comprehension...I have run out of superlatives yet again!

I will stay up for a few more hours to see if you have updated some more. If not, will read the post in its entirety in the morning. I have quite a day on tap tomorrow, and this will be my last long post for the time being...Travels call yet again! There is so much to look forward to on the horizon. I actually thought I won't be in a position to say anything after I saw the episode! Wat a gem it was!! Never felt so sad after watching any show on TV!! I don't know how many times I've said this before but every time I repeat it, the pride increases!! I'm so glad that I've started watching this show and I'm proud to be a fan of this epic!!! Hats off to everyone associated with the show!!! Aaj tho phir se ruladiya yaar!!!😭 Don't know how much time I'l be taking to come out of the effect of the episode this time, the last time I had this kind of effect was after the terrance scene during the payash wedding, n it took a whole of a week for me to come out it! At that time, I had my academics to keep myself busy but this time, I'm totally clueless how I'l be coming out of this!😕

Though at first I felt that Anjali will be a fool not to trust Arnav n Khushi, but today, after watching the episode, I HAD to change my opinion! I don't have any clue abt the trust, love n life after the trust breaks in the relationships, coz of the obvious reasons😆, but the thing I learnt is that if u love someone n trust him blindly, the life after u come to know that he's a cheat(don't know any better word), will be really a hell! Poor Anjali! Wat was her fault?? Loving n trusting her husband blindly?? As per wat all we've been shown till now, their's appears to be a love marriage to me, n seeing such cases, sometimes I really get scared of the thoughts of falling in love n getting married to that very person!🥺 I've been seeing many cases in real life too, though only in the newspapers till now, when the person u love turns out to be a cheat after marriage! Even though u want to trust the ppl who bring that truth before u, u just can't believe it at once right!

And Anjali not calling Arnav as chotey, its not the first time she did that as far as I remember! She used to call him by his name even when she was in play mood! Don't know why ppl found it mean!!😕

N here, once again I want to talk abt the creators this show!! In one instant, the scary thought abt getting cheated by the person u love n in other instance, show something which will force u to fall in love to experience the magic in it!!😍 The scene between Arnav and Khuhsi was sheer magic!! I don't have any words, again, to describe it!!

And when I came in with tears in my eyes, you always knew whether I needed you to hold me or just let me be. I don't know how you knew, but you did, and you made it easier for me. ~ The Notebook

The moment they showed Arnav turning back to see trembling Khushi, I just had one thought in my mind! She was the only one who saw his both extremes! I mean his anger and love!! I may be wrong but I felt the reason for her fear was the thought of his reaction when she approached him! But when he stopped her from going away, I started crying all again!! the rabba ve was beyond perfect today!!!😍

Everything abt today's episode was just perfect!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ the TRPs shd improve now at any cost!!! or else!!😡

Other things which I realised after watching the episode again: 😛

Arnav finally out of the dirty vest! 🥳

HP changed yet again, but change is always good, isn't it?? 😉

Payal was with Khushi, instead of running after Akash!

Nk did not have any dialogue?? 😲 Or did I miss something?

Naniji trusts Khushi,👏 n Mamiji back to the pavilion, as of now

Akash had more than one line to say in this episode!!! 😲 😲

Priya... That quote was just beautiful... As magical as the last few minutes we got of the episode yesterday!! 🤗 Will wait to read as and when you update!

I was listening to Gul's interview - and I was thinking about what she said... Most Hindi serials have the male protagonist as a person around whom the story happens, but he is hardly involved... But not for IPKKND... Here, as you said, the epicentre of the story is Arnav Singh Raizada. He is the heart of the story, and the soul is Khushi Kumari Gupta (Singh Raizada). It's a testament to a team that does very different and unique work. They deserve all the praise they can get, especially when they bring us episodes like this one!

Trust is the key here, isn't it? From the moment he said "I trust Khushi", it's like the tone just changed... we are seeing the true 'coming together' of two halves of a whole... two soulmates who just BELONG together... At every stage they check in with each other about how they are reacting to all this - the care and concern for one another etched clearly on their faces...

And yes, a "dysfunctional" story - that was woven in so beautifully to show changing relationships in a household that is hit by the worst storm in years... they have to now really begin "mending fences"!

A few points that occurred to me:
-- Akash believes in Payal - the issue is not of belief, it's about the fact that he was not told about what happened... This was bound to happen...
-- Nani trusts Khushi - her reactions would be interesting to watch as well... Mami seems to hold Khushi responsible for what happened - how will she react to all these revelations?
-- Anjali separating herself from Arnav - Arnav's being is tied with his Di, and I really hope that things improve enough atleast for her to realise that Arnav was telling the truth - the rift is bound to happen between them, but she needs to know that it was not a whim of Arnav's... I guess she will know soon enough if she wants to abort the child...
-- At the end of the Mahabharata war, Krishna stands at the sidelines and observes as the family involved in the war breaks down and deals with the aftermath... So also NK stands and observes... But Krishna doesn't remain unaffected - he's cursed too... I am very interested to see what the reactions from the family are towards him...

And then the moment that I was waiting for - I've been asking for romance for so long... But what we saw yesterday, while it was romance... it just moved my soul in an unimaginable way - transporting me to a different plane altogether... That's the magic that this show has woven on me... I saw the scene multiple times and each time I cried for these two, who are finally together, but with a heavy price that's been paid... I hope to God that they do not have to continue paying the price - please provide them with some moments of happiness before the inevitable separation...

She walks towards him in trepidation of how he is going to react... he senses her presence and turns to her... Her hands are trembling and he takes the tray from her, holds her hand to stop her from going... She turns and looks at him and realises that, probably for the first time, he is sharing himself with her like never before... No words are exchanged: "chup tum raho, chup hum rahe... khamoshi ko khamoshi se, zindagi ko zindagi se... baat karne do..." She hugs him, pouring out everything she feels into that hug - her hurt, her regret, her guilt, her love... and he holds her as she lets him feel it all. He looks at her, comforting her with his actions, and picks her up and lays her down on the bed... across the threshold outside which he himself once shut her out... She reaches out to him and pulls him back, wanting him close, keeping him near her - as she finally settles down to the sleep that had been eluding her from the day he left... Emotionally superb and downright brilliantly played by Barun and Sanaya... I have no words to describe their acting here - but just want to say again how lucky we are to have such fantastic leads in our show... Hats off to them!

There are such beautiful thoughts penned down here and I don't have much to add to them. For me the episode was about as real as it can get. In life, all that remains after the big, earth-shaking events that mark our decades, are the little, tiny, dewdrop moments. You remember a person's face and there surges in your brain a half-minute remembrance of something past. And it is these half-minutes that make us, break us, build us, destroy us and then sometimes even put us back together.

Today, there were many such. I will just list them down..there might be more. These are the moments my myopic eyes saw and my brain will remember and hopefully surge up 10 years hence, when I perhaps narrate to a loved one, the story of a story that captured my heart.

*When Arnav closes the door on Shyam, holds the door and stills his body. A moment to build up courage to face Di.

* It wasn't necessary to declare 'I trust Khushi' . But Arnav knew how necessary it was to declare so. Hence the unequivocal display of trust.

*When Arnav tries to help his Di sit up, once she recovers consciousness and she puts up a restraining hand and his eyes automatically seek Khushi's. The hurt, helplessness and doubt in them heartrending and the silent question to Khushi.. what do I do now?

*The silent exchange of 'you go outside too. I will be Ok' to Khushi's unwilling eyes.

*Khushi's hurried and anxious getting up from her vigil position outside Anjali's room when she realises Anjali is walking towards her. Her guilt and fear very evident.

*NK, the observer, the outsider, taking a step towards Khushi to comfort her but seeing Payal reach there before, wisely leaving the sisters alone in their grief.

*The realisation that the tea cup is clanking unusually loudly and the reason for it.

*The burning brown eyes, tears unshed, look up to the sky in utter anguish when Khushi is clutching on to his shoulders.

*The slightest of smiles when she tugs at his hand. Love is such that in the darkest of dungeons, it will throw a ray of hope.

P.S. The ensemble cast today proved why they are such a fantastic team together. They were all good but there was one pair of honey-brown eyes which reflected so much pain, so much desperation and anguish and pathos that they burned through the rest. No need to say whose, is there?

Awesome Episode...it is very painful to watch the trauma Anjali,Arnav ,Khushi & also the rest of the family r going thru' b'coz of one person..

Dont understand why Anji is being bashed😕...imagine her state of mind...how can she accept that the person who was God for her can be so evil..?her dialogue abt not being able to live without him said it all...

nobody can be called right or wrong in this situation...Akash's anger at Payal is understandable...Mami is also justified in her reaction to Khushi coz of what she overheard...Nani being the elder in the family was right in consoling both Anjali & Khushi without taking sides but waiting for an explanation...loved Payal taking a moment to console Khushi rather than running after Akash...

the tangled web is being opened...

what can I say abt those Last 6 mins of the episode...they were pure magic...pure poetry...😍absolutely brilliant direction & acting...not one word was spoken between them but is there anyone who did not understand what was being said...!

loved the way he soothed away her fears when he sees her shaking...the complete trust & understanding between them was shown...

the way he carries her over the same threshold from which he had thrown her out one day was beautiful...the same way he will go abt correcting all the times he had wronged her...loved the way she held his hand & tugged at it not letting him go and then goes to sleep b'coz as u said he completes her...

Mr.Sobti...Take a bow...👏...u were outstanding...! U say anyone can play Arnav & time and again u go about proving urself wrong...

absolutely fabulous crooner👏...A faithful woman always want to be the queen of her husband's heart BUT when other woman enters her husband's life and replace her and take over here husband's heart only one word can explain her...BROKEN.

I trust Khushi: we come back to trust and belief. This is khushi's husband , her soulmate speaking..he doesn't need any more proofs, he is confident whatever is Khushi saying is right, is truth.

The couple who always failed to have a standard daily conversation looks at each others eyes and understand completely.

Arnav trusts her, he has slapped shyam because of his misbehaviour towards her, and acknowledged her as one of the 2 most imp person in his life. What more has she asked more.

Her love, her pain, anguish, guilt all r visible in her eyes. Arnav gulps, checks his tears d moment he senses her presence… then a treat for d audience for 6.5 mins.

The soulmates again find solace in each other, he allows her to cry, to drain her pent up emotions, caress her face and carries her back to d same room from where she was thrown out. She is well tucked in d blanket on her husband's side of d bed. Oh sorry there is no more my side or pala…. It is their bed, their room, their life together. She tugs him, holds his hand and goes to sleep…..there wont be anymore sleepless nights, or haunting nightmares as her strength is right next to her. His assurance, his tenderness is of a husband……don't worry dear together we will face it.

Khushi goes to sleep, she has moved heaven and earth to find her husband and now he is next to her….but for Arnav it is a long sleepless night….he has been separated frm his DI, his mother figure….for whom he and Khushi went thru so much pain…..but still could not save her frm seeing this day.

When Khushi pleaded to Arnav to trust without any proof, he did. But to trust d brother without any proof against her husband is a mammoth task for Anjali d wife. Shyam manohar Jha has been d most romantic and caring husband to Anjali…d father to her unborn child….how can she forget him so easily….Arnav submits him completely to his Di, tries to show her d reality and is totally shattered when anjali addresses him as Arnav….. he is not chotey anymore.

Absolulety loved d fbs here . anjali only remembered Khushi and Payal's accusations and her brother's reaction, his slap to her husband….Anjali had d toughest day of her life. Destiny is playing a cruel game and she chose to do what 90% women would do at d first instance. Without any proof I cant hold my husband guilty.

All d characters got their screen time…payash going to face d rough weather…hiding truth is becoming d root cause of all d storms.

Mami and nani drawing strength frm each other….payal's hug to Khushi..another sibling bond in action….and true sakha NK watching over as they all react to d eviction of Shyam manohar jha frm RM. They want proof, solid evidence against him to erase out d fond memories of d ever smiling, charming son in law.

Have already said how proud I am to be a fan of IPK. What an amazing acting , editing and BG score. Needless to mention direction and screenplay..GH u rock today.

A special shout out to BS and SI. Have ran out adjectives to compliment you two.

Two epic characters Indian tellyworld has ever seen and will be cherished forever.
