Very well worded..but I wonder whether she has really gained Arnav.. and does Arnav really respect his wife?

1. why did Arnav not say anything to clear Khushi after he slapped Shyam..like narrating what happened between them (Shyam and Arnav) after the terrace scene?

2. Why did he only decide to slap Shyam when Khushi literally had to beg Arnav to believe her?
