Thank you Sahasra, Amrish and Aditi for this thread. It is indeed a very Beautiful thread- 👏 👏 👏.

Hope all the forum friends enjoyed learning Bengali - the sweet language- as sweet as our bhasha guru. Payal you did an awesome job.
👏 👏 👏

Both Vidhi and myself will walk you through this week and make your journey of acquiring basics of the Gujarati language enjoyable.

For those who are wondering the meaning of the thread name -
Bole tena Bor Vahechay is a gujarati saying

Literal meaning - The person who shouts loudest can only sell its berries.

The synopsis - Muteness does not help in life. People have to speak out loud and clear in order for them to succeed.

As for any other classes we have some simple rules:
1. You all can call us by name - Please no madam.
2. No question is small or stupid. Please ask as many questions and we will be more than happy to answer that question.
3. For those who are interested we will give a small assignment at the end of each day. Please try to complete it at your earliest convenience.

Methodology:

We will start with few common words used in day to day life and then few verbs along with the small sentences to understand it . We will then break those sentences in order to make you understand how things work. Lets see if this is digestible to all. If not then we will change the method the way it suits you all.

At the end of the day we will communicate a small cultural lesson as well since we believe that it is impossible to learn the language unless you understand the culture.

Outcome at the end of the week:

At the end of this week you all will be able to speak some simple sentences and will be acquainted with many common words.

Happy Learning! 😃

HelloKemcho

This is the most common way to start a conversation.

The answer would be:

Hu Mazama chu – Tame Kemcho?

(Means – I am good – how about you?)

Maru Naam Bhavi che. (My name is Bhavi)

Tame badha tamaru naam kahesho? (You all tell me your name?)

In full sentence Gujarati please-
