Payal and Akash refused to help arnav because they had no idea what to do. Arnav's heart was broken into pieces. When he went back to his room, he couldn't see Khushi in the room. He got tensed and looks outside near the pool side. He searched for her in the whole house but couldn't find her. He feared that she must have left so he checks the wardrobe but her clothes weren't in it. He found a letter on the table near his laptop. He couldn't read the letter because he didn't know how to read Hindi. He took the letter to payal and asks her to read for him.
Payal reading khushi's letter:
When we two parted In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted ,To sever for years
In secret we met , In silence, I grieve
That my heart could forget, But spirit deceive.
i think of the days when we met
for the days have gone and will never return
In silent night when rest I took,
For sorrow near I did not look,

After reading the letter, arnav's eyes were shaded like red blood with tears. Payal was also crying so much with Akash comforting both of them. When they look up everyone was standing at the door crying.
