Many scenes today made me sad. The way Arnav treats Khushi, I feel some of it is inching towards domestic abuse.

-Marrying out of force and blackmailing

-Inflicting physical pain on so many occassions

-forcing her to sleep outdoors in the cold

I just wish they don't continue to show how it's ok to do these things, even if its out of mohabbat. It will send a very wrong message to the community. I know Arnav doesn't mean it that way, but IT IS DOMESTIC ABUSE. 😔

What do you guys think?

what he did is wrong... but i think the show is showing that it is wrong to do such things. so i disagree with u when u say the show is showing it as an k thing to do.

No NO physical abuse

I agree, that we should not show emotional abuse on a daily soap. It gives the wronh message, that is ok to be abusive. We should never forget the influence of TV. And , please keep in mind that Arnav/Barun has become an icon.

I get it that many people here seem to accept it, as it's fiction. I very well know it is too. But that doesn't make it right? I mean, it's a daily soap watched by many. It's bound to influence minds. Domestic abuse is sadly not uncommon in the real world. And the last thing we need is a good soap like IPKKND glorifying it.

He didn't mean to bang the door on her hand, when he realized he did, he ran back to help...

Enjoy..what you get...glorifying domestic abuse or justifying it .. I dont know.. probably people who talk about domestic abuse dont even know what it is...I just hope no-one is in that condition... I just have one question when ASR man-handled Khushi in office before marriage why was everyone going awww...why were they not talking about sexual harrassment in office. and that almost kiss around diwali why was it not tagged as sexual exploitation of domestic help...just because people know a term "domestic abuse" they have to use it... dont get me wrong...I have other things to worry about in this serial than domestic abuse..

arnav has always repented for his mistakes and so has khushi for hers.when he gets angry he cant help such outbursts that has always been a prob with him. he has even acknowledged it before.

i think what the cv's wanted to show is how the misunderstandings are blinding them both to the other pain. physical and/or emotional.
