Hi everyone! Some of you might remember me from a few months ago and most of you might not because I've been MIA for long now, so... I'm Nina; hey! And yeah, as you can see, I'm starting a third fic; it might be an SS/FF depending on how much you guys like it.
Now, you might be wondering what my other two works are; even if you aren't, here you go!
So, on with this story; its based on what happens after the six months contract. The truth is out about Shyam and why Arnav married Khushi the way he did. Khushi has returned to the Gupta household and its been ten days since she left Shantivan... On to the story...
Prologue:
Anjali looked at the barren hall from the top of the stairs. Barren; that's what the house had been, today, yesterday, ever since Khushi had left, taking the entire house's happiness with her. A lone tear dropped from her eye and she didn't try to wipe it away. No, she wasn't crying for her husband; he didn't deserve her time or her thoughts, much less her emotions. She cried for the chirpy girl that had died ten days ago; for the innocent heart that her brother, her Chote, had destroyed and walked all over.
With a grim determination, Anjali walked towards the room which seemed to be permanently shadowed with a darkness these days. Opening the doors without hesitation, Anjali walked straight to the French windows. She had seen Khushi watch the sky through these too many times; she spoke to her parents, the stars, from right this place. Sighing, she moved aside the curtains and let a little of the sunlight filter in. How ironic that the moment Khushi walked out of his life, even Chote's room had become lifeless.
Turning around, Anjali spotted a lump beside the bed and a sense of trepidation filling her, she hurried to it.
"Chote? Chote!" her anguished cry reverberated through the house...
A/n: Was this good? Do tell me if I should continue, please?
Precap:
"Khushi, please..." Anjali's voice pleaded, breaking several times over those two words but Khushi remained resolute.
"No, Di. I will never step foot in Shantivan ever again. Not for you, not for Nani, and most definitely not for Arn ... Mr.Raizada." She was about to place the receiver on its holder when Anjali's final words struck her like lightning.
"Khushi, I beg of you. Call me selfish if you want but I need my brother, atleast. I lost my husband, my ch... my child all in one day and I can't... I can't lose my brother too. Please, Khushi. Grant me this one wish..."
I know its seems a little bleak right now, but that's kind of the way I write stories; from angst to happiness :) Things always do get better as the chapters go :)
