Honestly speaking, I'm starting to love and appreciate her more and more each day. It's easy to be like Anjali and Payal. (i.e., sitting at home, looking pretty and not having to move a muscle to have household chores done). But to be someone like Khushi. Strong, bubbly, innocent, honest and hardworking. Now that's a lot more tough. Although this marriage was against her will, she's learning to compromise in the situation. She knows (or at least thinks) that after 6 months, her life will be ruined. There are not many people who would be willing to marry an already married woman... She has had more than her share of difficulties in life, starting from the death of her parents to being continuously tortured by Arnav to the whole Shyam fiasco. HECK, she was ENGAGED to the guy!!!! And despite all of this, she still makes the best of the situation. Not to be judgemental, but normally, in Indian television shows, the woman is portrayed as the weak one. The person who always must be pited up. The 'mere pati devta hain' types. I'm SO glad that Khushi's character is not like this. Payal and Anjali are enough for an ETERNITY! To be perfectly honest, Khushi is really an inspiration for so many girls.
And I truly appreciate the fact that she's starting this business. Women should be independant in my opinion. They should not have to rely on the male to survive. Anjali's exactly like this, and look where it got her?
Heck, better not get me started on Anjali and Payal. And ESPECIALLY Shyam. Uff... firstly, WHY THE HELL is Anjali still living in her bro's home??! Like honestly. I know some people may disagree, but now that I've come onto the topic, lemmi just state my opinion on this as well. If she had left with Shyam, she could have kept him in better control. But sometimes it looks to me as if she really isn't bothered about Shyam at all. She is just happy with her family - her nani, her chote, aakash, e.t.c. And Shyam. Uff... what a JERK!!! I would LOVE to use some other, nastier words for him, but it's not very ladylike... so I'll stick with JERK! You guys all understand what I mean I'm sure!😉 Honestly, they ALL live off Arnav and Aakash!!! Sometimes I feel so angryyy!!!! And then Payal! Like GOSHH... her tears are like a neverending WATERFALL!!! and she cries for the STUPIDEST reasons!!!! If Manorama ever insulted me like that, I would be crying too... but those tears would be from laughing too hard! Manorama is so hilarious! How can you even be OFFENDED by something that a person without half a brain cell has said?😆 Ok... no offence there AT ALL...
And payal can't even manaofy manorama! Like seriously, getting to terms with her is THE EASIEST THING! Toss her a coupla compliments here and there and she'll melt within seconds!!!! 😆
Ok, so getting back to the point.
I really do love the fact the Khushi is doing her part. Usually Star Plus doesn't show such things about women. So it's a really nice change seeing a woman being so independent.

P.S., I completely agree with that caterer guy... Khushi is definately Anapoorni!!!😳
