Good post! But, I have to disagree with on point... that the original person at fault for me, still remains Shayam. And, while I totally and 100% agree that the release of the tape triggered things off, in (fictional) reality too, Shayam would have encountered KKG simply because her lot had been decided by (fictional) fate to be with Arnav. So, keeping in mind that Shayam didn't suddenly go psycho when he saw the tape, and always was the villain he is, then we can correctly assume that he would always have been a thorn in their sides, regardless.
The "blame" in my opinion for it reaching this far lies firmly with the female elders of Khushi's family. Her father tried and failed, then the mother/aunt got a clear picture of what was happening, yet allowed a young girl to handle the matter on her own. I don't for a moment feel that Khushi needed to go through all of this so she could grow up. Too early for one so young in my opinion. This girl needed to be running free and enjoying her life.. Not deal with a man who I'm assuming is in his 30s and is a ruthless killer at heart.ASR will no doubt feel the pangs when all is revealed, and from the looks of it, he does a good job when he forces himself to face such emotions. All I would like to see now is this girl speaking up, and the CVs allowing for that. If the responses to women are not up to par, then the portrayal of women in this show is unbelievably pathetic. It's almost as if they are incapable of thought.
