I was thinking how the composition of this scene was the opposite of the Diwali scene. Here we had light and there we had dark. There he was being led by instinct, here it was complete awareness. In that scene he could not utter a word,; here it was the words that he wanted to utter.

There he took her into seclusion deeper in the dark and here into the light and into the public.

In that scene at the end he retaliated angry at himself for falling by proposing to Lavanya. That was a gesture to keep Khushi away from realizing the truth about his feelings.

This scene may end again with the opposite...him proposing to Khushi, and again as a way for her not to realize the truth of his intent.
