The award season has begun and Vishal Malhotra is excited. The actor is all set to receive his first television award for the popular serial Kuchh To Log Kahenge.
"This is my first soap on TV and the Lion's award is very encouraging," says Vishal.
He has earlier won awards for his film Ishq Vishk. "I was aware that my character was very popular, especially amongst women (smiles). However, awards aren't something someone expects, and this award has been a voting in award, so it's a public choice thing and hence more satisfying," he says.
Vishal will be felicitated with the 'Favourite Best Supporting Actor of The Year', on Jan 11.
