Anjali didn't explained about the incident to anyone. Next morning everyone left for Mumbai.

Anjali and Mayur entered the Sharma Mansion. Nupur came and hugged both of them. Anjali who was lost in the thoughts of last night responded bluntly to the hug. Mayur on the other side was happy about the last night. Nupur could see the change in both of them. While for Mayur it was something good, for Anjali, Nupur could identify something wrong with her. Anjali went straight to her room and Nupur followed her. She saw her daughter from the door as if a dilemma was creating storm in her mind. Nupur went inside and started unpacking her bag.

"Kaisi rahi picnic Anjali?"

Anjali turned to her and said "Acchi rahi, maa"

Nupur could see the distress on her face. She made Anjali sit on the bed beside her, held her hand in hers and asked, "Anjali, sab theek toh hai na."

As Nupur spoke those words, Anjali broke into tears and hugged her mother. Nupur caressed her, unable to understand what happened to her, a blink of her own past came in front of her eyes but she removed that thought from her mind and asked, "Anjali, sab theek toh hai na, mera baccha apni mummy ko nahin bataayega toh kise bateyga." Anjali then broke the hug, wiped her tears and told the whole incident of last night to her.

After hearing the whole incident, Nupur wiped Anjali's tears, she smiled and said, "Kuch galat thodi na ho sakta tha meri Anjali ke saath. Har ladki ke liye bhagwaan ne koi banakar bheja hota hai, bas hum samajh nahin paate hain. Issliye wo kuch aisa karte hain, kabhi accha kabhi bura, ki hum insaan ki importance samajh paayein. Arush ne tumhein bachaaya, shayad bhagwaan ji bhi yahi chahte ho. Issliye ab rona band kar Anjali, wo kuch bura hua accha hone ke liye. Theek hai, ab tu neeche aaja khana tayaar hai. OK."

After Nupur left, Anjali thought about what her mother said. Did she pointed that Aarush is the one for me?

At night when Mayank came back from the office, Nupur told him everything.

"Anjali, ab toh theek hai wo?" Mayank asked her.

"Haan, khaana kha kar so gayi hai. Subah tak theek ho jayegi. Par Mayank, ab tumhein nahin lagta ki Anjali ki shaadi karwa deni chahiye? Mere khyaal se wo ladka Aarush hi theek hai Anjali ke liye."

"Nupur, tum phir ussi baat par aa gayin? Itni jaldi shaadi karwa kar kyun usski zindagi barbaad karna chahti ho?"

"Mayank, main usski zindagi barbaad kyun karna chahungi? Tum meri baat samajh hi nahin rahe ho."

"Nupur, main nahin samajh raha hoon ya tum nahin samajh rahi ho?"

Nupur started crying. She got up and moved away saying, "Tum nahin samjhoge, Mayank."

Mayank could not see tears in her eyes. He got up and made Nupur sit beside him, "Main nahin samjhunga, Nupur? Mujhe pata hai tum nahin chahti ki jo tumhaare saath hua wo Anjali ke saath ho, par Nupur tum khud bataao mujhse shaadi karne ke baad, Anjali ke baad tum sirf iss ghar ki ho kar reh gayin. Anjali aur Mayur ki parvarish mein tumne koi kami nahin rakhi, par apne liye samay nikaal payi tum kabhi? Tum utni hi qualified ho jitna main, par kya kaam un degrees ka?"

"Par Mayank…"

"Nahin Nupur, tum bataao mujhe"

Nupur remained silent. She spoke after a few minutes.

"Mayank, meri zindagi mein tum aaye phir Anjali aur phir Mayur, mujhe kabhi kuch aur nahin chahiye tha. Tumne mujhe kabhi kisi cheez ki kami nahi hone di, toh mujhe aur kya chahiye hoga? Par Mayank, mere saath tum the, Anjali ke saath koi nahin hai, hum ek baar uss ladke se mil lete hain, wo kaisa hai, usske maa baap kya karte hain, agar baat banti hai toh kya buraai hai shaadi mein?"

"Ab..main kya kahun Nupur? Theek hai"

Nupur smiled.

"Par Anjali ko tum bilkul force nahin karogi, agar wo khud apni marzi se haan kahegi tabhi shaadi hogi warna nahin."

"Theek hai Mayank, main baat karungi Anjali se kal. Thank you." And she hugged him.

Next morning, Anjali and Mayur left for college.

After the class got over, Aarush told Anjali to come to the terrace.

Mayur went into the classroom and saw Avishi sitting there. He sat beside her. He said "Aaj shaam ko 7 baje tayaar rehna"

Avishi looked at him.

"Aankhein mat phaado Ishi" Mayur shook her nose with his finger "Main tumhein lene pohonch jaaunga, theek hai"

Saying this, Mayur left.

"Ye ladka sach mein pagal hai" Avishi said slowly ruffling her hairs.

"Tumhein pata hai Anjali, kal raat.." Aarush was saying when Anjali stopped him "Main kal raat ke bare mein koi baat nahin karna chahti"

"Nahin par main toh karunga, tumhein kya lagta hai sab kuch bura hi hua tha kal raat. Nahin, sabse acchi baat thi ki ek pari meri bahon mein aise simat gayi thi jaise duniya ki saari khushi mil gayi thi uss pal mujhe."

Anjali blushed on hearing those words from Aarush. They both were siiting on the terrace beneath the shadow of a tree tall enough to spread its green over the terrace.

"I love you, Anjali" Aarush said.

Anjali looked at him. What did he said just now? He loves me. God, but I don't know. Do I love him?

"Mujhe koi reply nahin chahiye Anjali, aur ise kisi galat sense mein mat lena, main wo bol deta hoon jo mere dil mein hota hai. Tum pareshaan mat ho, agar tumhein kabhi lage ki tum mujhse pyar karti ho to bas ek baar keh dena, warna saari zindagi intezaar karne ko tayaar hoon." Aarush said those words looking in Anjali's eyes but Anjali was unable to give any reply to him. She looked at the watch. It was quarter to eleven.

"Aarush, I am getting late for the office. Mujhe jaana hoga." Anjali picked up her handbag and left hurriedly. Aarush kept looking at her till she vanished from his sight.

Sameer looked at the wall clock and then at his wrist watch as if he was waiting for someone. He again looked at his watch. It was 5 past 11. He was looking for someone through his large glass pane door. He smiled as he saw Anjali entering from the main gate. He waited for the whole weekend to get one glimpse of her. Sameer didn't knew why he was waiting for her but he knew something was there in Anjali that attracted him towards her.

Today, she remained quiet and suttle, sitting in her cubicle. Anjali completed her work and in the evening and left before Mayank. Mayank had the board meeting with Samrat and other CEOs of the company. Anjali was looking for a taxi when Sameer came in his car. He stopped by her side, panned down the window and asked Anjali if she wants a lift. Anjali was reluctant but Sameer said, "I'll drop you."

Anjali got inside the car and Sameer asked about the address.

"G-55, Sector 12, Sir" Anjali replied.

Sameer drove to the address. In the whole drive Anjali was looking out of the window. Sameer stopped in front of the Sharma Mansion. He saw the name plate and doubted something.

"Anjali… Mr. Sharma…" Sameer asked turning his gaze towards Anjali as she stepped down from the car.

Anjali came out of the car and said, "He's my father. Sir, please don't tell anybody in the office. Aap toh jaante hain faltu ki baatein shuru ho jaayengi."

Sameer smiled and said "OK"

He then left from there.
