My First Dance Show

I first performed on stage when I was in standard 1. But my first real performance took place years later, when I did a dance act with actor Sachin for the Marathi film Navri Mile Navryala.
We were supposed to match steps for the song Hee Navri Asli, but I just could not get the beat right. Sachin was a pro at it since he had been acting and dancing in films since childhood.
He promised me an ice cream for each step shot without retakes. I fell for the bribe, but the ice creams were virtual, like in pretend plays. Even after winning Nach Baliye, I haven't yet mastered the act.
Practice and patience is the key to my dancing success.
