Kekta, KS, and stuff................

We as viewers tend to get TOTALLY INVOLVED with the charatcers, and the line between reel and real starts blurring................. unfortunately.
Ekta really DOES NOT

For her its just another show

If she feels that spice is missing from it she may actually make Pia pregnant with Jai's baby

We want the lead pair to stay together may be argue but quickly make up etc. But Ekta has a lot riding on her shows like $$$$$$$$$$$.

When ad revenues drop, she will take what ever route that seems most shocking at that point to bring the viewership back on track........

I know its TERRIBLE TERRIBLE FEELING to be debating this thing just when they are coming close

But we shudnt forget its an Ekta show

That will give us all an opportunity to log off from this show and concentrate on our personal lives

Then this show too can fade away from memory or become like one of her other shows that are totally inane and ridiculous like KYPH

How is it humanly possible not to meet ur spouse living in the same vicinity for months? Kripa-Angad and HT-GP I mean its soooooooooooooo silly. And that over-smart, loud mouth totally not cute kids. The show was SUPPOSED to be about two singers falling in love. Look where its now, where is the singing or the music industry?
It became another tame infidelity, paternity, estranged wife, love child, murder, mix-up............ I mean no connection to the original theme what so ever

ALL Ekta shows flounder after a point
The ones I have watched either totally or briefly all on Zee or Sony

Lets all pray from today that Kekta has the hrt to pull the plug on our KS before the thot of Jai impregnating Pia crosses her mind. We wud be saved.....................

In a few months..................... soon Ram will take on another Kekta show grandly and Praachi will dabble "ambitiously" with a film career.

All the promising "tomorrow's superstar" that Kekta has launched have failed miserably in movies

i agree wit u.. but i don't wanna leave this.. i left kyph.. cuzzzzzzzzzzzzzz of the whole baby situtation then it just got stupid and MORE stupid.. now i don't really care about it.. before i use to go crazy over it.. i hope i really really hope pia doesn't get pregnant wit jai's baby.. i mean if ekta wants to create a problem.. create a different one.. or she's gonna get a from me.. 😡

Ekta.....How's anything that is done to death shocking? we all knew that someone like Pia/Roshni/Jigz/or new charcter was going to turn up at J&B BR door the next morning..😡 🤢 Blah......

Now if Pia nor Bani get pregnant with Jai's baby , that would be Shocking!!!!😃 😆 Well maybe Bani after the 2nd consummation act..would be ok.😉

In all fairness , Ekta surprised me by having the consummation act while Bani was still around in Walia Mansion rather then have Jai looking franticly for Bani after her exit from Walia mansion and Jai's realization of his love for her...👏

May be she was out of town and the director sneaked it in..👏

I dont know to be honest i mean koshish was great even to the end but kohi apna sa went a bit downhill when shruti the poor innocent one got arrested for her husbands murder and then then when naryani left they changed the character through plastic surgery

😆 true but i do get why they do if they wanna keep the character and people leave it because in english programmes people only do mostly one main one at time but in indian ones they usually do like two three at a time

thank God she didnt show Jigs getting into an accident and having plastic surgery when she replaced Ashwani with Jaya B.

I love your post - clear truth.
None of the drama's you mentioned, I have seen though. Only Khashish I know as other Balaji show. Khashish was quite realistic, but slightly boring. No dramatic nonsense in that. It was also not dragged on, which I feel is the thing that they should do with all those shows. To avoid the introduction of new characters, time and time again and to avoid irrealistic twists and turns.
Frankly, the thought that they are going to continue KS for two full more years looks ridiculous to me. It means that the original storyline will be completely lost and the romantic magic between jai and Bani, as we witnessed in the first seven months will probably never return.
KS, another waste of time. Sadly, after the promising start. I'm afraid that you are very right, Aditee: KS was just another show for Ekta.

One question to you: do you believe, that if they had a wider timeschedule and if they had dealt it artistically rather than commercial, they could nave upheld the original quality and could have proceeded with the characters intact? Was there enough story for a prolonged period in the original storyline?

In other words: is it necessary to to introduce the crap? Are there examples of prolonged programs that upheld quality?

To my mind comes Astitva, as such an example. But I am not sure that Astitva was a commercial success.
