Basically any sort of attachment leads us being satisfied or dissatisfied. It also depends on our attitude the way we view situations. It is the insatiable desire that causes pain.
Yes, one can create their own destiny by watching our actions. Our destinies are guided by our action.
So in a way ASR is correct. If our thoughts and actions are correct you reap good fruits. As far as you can see he is a kind man. Whenever someone was in need, he came to their help. e.g. the child in need of money (in the temple), donations to the hospital (remember the doctor mentioning about his donations), to KKG when she was in need.
So even though he is an atheist, his good deeds will stand by him when times are bad.
Arnav is not always a kind man. He may be a charitable man but that does not make him kind. Haven't we seen enough his ruthlessness? But then, as they say charity covereth a multitude of sins. As to how much control we have over our destiny is again a subject of debate. There may be certain things which are totally out of our control. It is in such times that people seek for a super being to bail them out.
it. is in their destiny to love each other..destiny means god's will.. who can change that.. i have seen woody allen's films .he is an eccentric man..very good post OPTIđ

Well ASR may not be a kind man to Khushi and may have vent his anger on others.. he will also have to reap the fruits of these actions..
To be generous one needs a kind heart.. ASR never holds anything what KKG said or did against him when she was in need. To forgive one needs a kind heart.
I think Khushi is less grudging than ASR. Did he not see how he viciously sought to punish Khushi for daring to challenge him at the office. Yes, the Arnav within ASR is much more forgiving. The real test for his kindness and compassion will come when the Shyam's truth (or half truth) comes out.
Yes you are right control of our destiny is a huge subject there are 6 chapters of Karma Yoga which talks about our actions...
There is a saying in Tamil "Vidhiyaiyum Madhiyaal Vella Mudiyum" that is if you use your knowledge correctly one can even beat destiny.
I am a Tamilian. Have heard this. May be true in some cases but not all. One cant put everything to vidhi or madhi. I believe one needs to do one's best and leave the rest to HIM.
There are things beyond our control when they happen we have to learn to accept them. I guess ASR has also learnt to do that. He has fought back his bad times and made a life for him and his family. His arrogance may lead to his destruction. As they say a haughty pride leads to one's fall.
Yes, Arnav's biggest drawback is his arrogance. Most of the time he cannot think beyond himself. On the rare occasions he gives selflessly he attains immense pleasure. He should think more on this aspect. I'm a Christian. We believe that the first among the 7 capital sins is arrogance.
