idk really what this mess is...
honestly. I just watched the scene. And read about it.
So it's kinda just from the shock value of WHAT THE EFF ARNAV?!?!
And then I realized of course...the poor man has this defect called, blind/deaf/unreasonable/loseseveryhumansense when mad syndrome.
so it more of a reflection than os i guess...but its kinda written as arnav taunting himself, so...
Enjoy?
Look below \/: This was what this OS had started out as, but now it's this awkward poem thing. I'll stop talking now :P
The man stood near his open sliding windows, hands embedded in the pockets of his designer suit as he watched the shimmering waves of the surface of his pool. The stars shinned through the skylight, reflecting off the water onto his face and illuminating the otherwise dark room.
"Congratulations, Arnav." he whispered softly.
You're not God, she'd said, you don't write your own fate, Devi Maiya does.
Well you proved her wrong, Arnav, another feather to add to your overstuffed cap.
You showed her, didn't you? You showed her just exactly how you wrote your own destiny; you showed her just how you chose to write hers too.
You proved just how superhuman you are, just how powerful and all pervading your reach is, you showed her, didn't you?
Isn't this what you'd wanted Arnav?
If it was, then good job Arnav, you won again.
Of course this is what you wanted. A life all alone. A life where the walls around your heart and soul hold as strong as the faith she holds in her God.
Did you feel the rush of victory when you stomped out the little fire of desire she'd let burn in her heart? When you stomped out her belief, her confidence and conviction in the will of the lord?
You tramped right over that'you condemned yourself to a life lived as a result of your anger, to a life lived with a woman you'.you don't love. That you pity more than anything- was that what you wanted?
Well then you got it Arnav, just like everything else, you got what you wanted. Your will won its way.
Was it right, Arnav, was it worth it? Was your mistake worth it all?
Was it worth the watery gems that filled her eyes? Was it worth the crushing of her tender innocent heart?
Do you take pride in the way her eyes refused to meet yours? The way she mumbled
Will it teach you a lesson when you realize what you've done Arnav?
When you'll regret all you've ever done?
Of course you will Arnav.
Because one day, you'll know from the bottom of your stonewalled heart, that you have erred.
You have erred as only humans do.
Because of course.
You're only human.
