geet was a 18 year old girl from a village called hoshiyarpur in punjab
her family wanted her to marry a guy called dev who was a NRI
geet also accepted to marry him
before marriage she went to a mela where some goons follow her and a guy called maan rescues her from them
both hated each other during their first meeting
later dev and geet got married n they spend a night in a lodge
after a few hours geet found dev missing n she saw maan there too n they again have a clash
later dev abandons geet in the airport n fled with geet's property with his wife ( whom he addreesed as bhabhi before geet )
within a month geet found herself pregnant and her family told her to abort the child
but geet refused
dev sold the land through an agent to maan which geet was unaware off
later geet had to accept the fact trhat her land was sold to maan and she goes with him to amristar to the registar office

the story proceeds where maan started feeling for geet n came to know that she was not gurvinder's girl friend
soon maan realised that he has feelings for geet and tried to stay away from her
when geet arranged a party maan did not like the arrangements and fired her from the job.
now dadima gives a job to geet as her grandsons seceretary ( geet doesnt know that she's maans dadi )
soon maan and geet came face to face with each other and maan allowed geet to work as dadima was not feeling well.
geet also started to develop feelings for maan and soon realised it
dadi ma wanted maan to marry sumone maan didnt want to marry so he told geet to act as maan's jhooti magetar infront of everyone
maan accepted his feelings and wanted geet to confess first as he noticed the same feelings in her eyes
maan tries to confess his feelings where geet tells maan that she was pregnant
maan did not listen to her words fully and he left the place
maan came to know about geet's past (but does not know that it was dev who cheated on her) n he accepted her with her baby
on the day of their engagement geet found that dev was maan's brother n she left the place
she later realised her mistake n came back n found that maan was not at home and she was given a last chance by dadi maa
maan has an accident now n geet takes care of him
pinky n adi came to know that geet is pregnant
the office staff now started abusing geet verbally as she left the engagement but maan was not there at that time
geet found dev and naintara at office n told all office staffs that she was pregnant and the reason was dev
dev gets shocked n tries to tell maan that he was the one who spoilt geet's life but naintara stops him from telling
geet tells maan that it was DEV who cheated on her
maan gets angry and handed over dev and naintara to the police
dadi maa accepted geet
dadi's healt was too bad n she wanted to se dev
so maan got bail for dev n there was misunderstanding between maan n geet

now maan's sister annie is introduced
naintara tries to take revenge on maan using annie
naintara's brother arjun thot that maan spoilt his sister's life (but was unaware of his sister's act ) and he tries on annie by telling that he luvs her
geet's brother brij is released from jail n he cums to delhi to kill geet
he acted as a cook in maan's home n attempted to kill he several times
nantara tries to shoot geet n maan saves her while saving geet he pushes naintara who trips falls from the terrace
naintara goes to COMA n arjun thot that maan pushed naintara wantedly
he cheats on annie eventhough he truly luvs her
brij attempts to kill geet when maan saved her n doctor told that maan and geet must not get closer to each other n if thay did get closer it might cause harm to geet's baby
maan avoided geet n later geet came to know abt her health
dadi sent maanet to shimla for honeymoon
they stayed in a hotel where dev was the manager
geet n maan see dev n they decided to leave shimla
while returning their car get into an accident n geet admitted him to the hospital
maan needed blood n geet requested dav to give blood as maan's and dev's blood group matched
dev had a condition dat he might give blood if she allows him to stay in khurana mansion
maan finds that dev gave him blood n gets angry on geet
now geet trips from the stairs n her baby gets aborted
now both maaneet are depressed
dev asks geet to forgive him n geet forgives as she wanted to start her new life wid maan
arjun also comes to know abt nts evil acts and soon arjun asked forgiveness to annie .
both confessed their feelins and were united
maan didnt like geet forgiving dev
he insults geet of not having any self respect and due to this geet leaves the house
dev enlightened maan that geet only forgave him for starting a new life with maan maan realised wat he had said and went in search of geet
geet leaves delhi when she accidently lands on her maasi's home in amristar
maan cums in search of geet and acts as a driver at maasis house to get his geet back
now everyone misunderstands dev as maan when dev came to amritsar
maasi finds the trut that geet forgave maan n dev acted as maan n she gets abgry ongeet
lucky (geets cousin) luvs preeto n maan helps him to get his luv
dev luvs nadini nandini's marriage was about to happen wid a cheater n maaneet save her
finally all problems are solved n maaneet along wid dev, lucky and nandhini( maasi's daughter )
return to delhi
now dev's mom (maan's step mom )claims maan to give his company n maan hands over
maaneet live in a seperate home
dev's mom pammi hits maan wid a iron rod as maan was against pammi
pammi blackmails geet to sign papers as maan's property was is geet's name
maan escapes from the place but faints when a man takes him to gurudwara
maan loses his memory
