OK...guys...I think ASR is really the best looking male character to watch on Indian TV right now ...but he is downright mean...I saw some early episodes...and his behavior with Khushi was completely unjustified. In the first or second episode he threatened to do baddtamizi with her, when he pulled off the pearl strings from her blouse, in the scooter accident scene he talked about her aukat...and mocked her when she said that she would pay him back. He assumes that because Khushi does not have money her intentions are only to con other people into making some...He even talked badly about Payal..in the first couple of scenes, who he knew nothing about...I hope we will see a gradual change in his character...He can still be a ruthless business man but have a bit more respect for people, with who he really has no axe to grind...

i agree. i did not like arnav's behaviour. i want him crying for khushi. it will be his punishment

I think ...what is working for Khushi is when he has been close to her and out of himself...almost in a trance...when his inner kindness to protect her has taken over all the meanness...

Yes, I do😊, just like Anjali said...that she can see behind the facade he puts up...We saw some of it...when he wiped Khushi's tears after she fainted in the building scene...we saw it when he was concerned and hesitant to leave Khushi without knowing how she was doing and when he did not want to eat after he got home...We saw some of it publicly when he told Ms. La La and the chumchees to not mock Khushi...I want more of that...😍

I agree with your post wholeheartedly...not only mean, he is downright cruel to her...remember the scene where he let her fall from his office window down?😡 That was a definite cruel streak right there...like he wanted to inflict max possible pain ...this is not the reaction of a cold-hearted businessman...he is clearly fighting some really scary demons of his own.

His past. his disturbed past that we have only been able to guess at, holds the answer to the "why" part of your question. He is a sweetheart with his sister, coldly caring towards his Mami, reluctantly respectful to his Nani...so it isn't that he has a stone for a heart. Yet, with Khushi he is, or rather was, so hurtful.
