The Bard knew!!! He knew the damned spot could not be washed, rinsed or wiped out . For those who are still clueless .. The damned spot is not a coffee stain but (yes you guessed it) blood!!! And the reference is from Lady Macbeth washing her hands of the blood stains from the murder she had committed . The bard knows... He knows that it imprints the conscience.

I loved today's episode and was sorely reminded of the "damned spot" Arnav Singh Raizada is a troubled man ... A man where Khushi's blood has left an indelible mark , he doesn't want to wash , or erase it yet it haunts him!!! God , it was an amazing sequence of introspection about everything including the broken bangles which kept searing his soul.. Arnav Singh raizada knows he has wronged an innocent. He is so troubled that he utters her name out loud and looked shocked at his loss of self control. This was amazing acting by the way... Yet he claims he is his own man, a man who lives life by his own rules...man so much angst that it hurt and he lokked amazing pacing his room and never knew that olive green and brown could look so good . The BG score was Amazing,,,, it reflected the tumult within..
The scene of the day between chotey and dadi... Something certainly went wrong in his past and we are given a glimpse of his parents who married for love but ended in tragedy ...Loved, loved, loved, the way he said he does not believe in love...yayyy ASR is back...This was so in keeping with his character...and then how he is his own man...

The guilt ??or the feeling of remorse is possibly the first pillar which will build up the love for khushi... So glad thE CV are still using their brains...

Yes the bard knew!!

Awesome reference Zainab!!...now all the pain that he has caused Khushi would haunt him through the mark on his hand...it might heal up...MIGHT HEAL...but the mark left on his heart and soul would be unrepairable!!

Thanks mahi, i only hope shakespeare does not fall flat on his face, and so far the show seems to be on track.
Yes , The mark will never caese to remind him which is a good thing because ASR kinda needed that kinda reality check

I can only think of one song:

Na na karte pyaar ussi se kar beithe
Karna tha inkaar, par ikraar ussi se kar beithe!

I think the story is somewhat related to Jane Austen's famous novel PRIDE & PREJUDICE.

Where Arnav is the Pride and Khushi is the Prejudice (ie.probably because she may misunderstand him later).

However, then I am gonna love this show.

you're right zainu!!its exactly i wanted to see actually..or else it would've been shocking as to how ASR changes overnight..how can that be !! and there comes the pat..he's still the old, stone hear-ted,pained person..i loved how you've mentioned about his slip of mind and tongue, and the next moment he announce he's a man of no love.. !! though the past flashes of the following night were interrupting his mind and playing a havoc within himself, yet he is justified about not getting engaged into a blissful journey of marriage, yess its may be about his parents horrendous past which keeps pushing him to that other invulnerable side within him ..

great post!!loved it as usual!!you rock..😳

That's a really good link and I totally agree with you about that he feels so guilty as he knows what he's doing is very wrong indeed
