Mittho blames Runjhun and Guddu for breaking Mahadevi's marriage, and says that because of Guddu and Runjhun today the groom and his family walked away. Everyone looks remoreseful. Mahadevi faints and Runjhun rushes to her, followed by rest of the family. Mittho tells Rajju to call the doctor.
The doctor comes and checks up on Mahadevi, and before she leaves she informs them all that Mahadevi is going to be a mother. Everyone is shocked. Guddu looks at Runjhun since the truth is finally out, and sees her tears. He gently places his hand on her shoulder and offers her comfort. Amma walks up to Runjhun and says that today Runjhun saved the honor of the family. Rajju too walks up to Runjhun and says that he's always only considered himself, and thought that his honor was the greatest, and tells Runjhun that she saved his honor today. Mittho doesn't look happy and is angry. In her anger she goes to Mahadevi's room and locks it.
She goes to the bed and slaps Mahadevi and starts hitting her and asks her why she didn't die before she did something shameful like this. Runjhun rushes to the door, followed by Guddu. Runjhun bangs on the door, but Mittho continues to hit Mahadevi. Guddu pushes the door open and they both go inside and stop Mittho. Everyone else except for Amma and Rajju come in and hold Mittho back. She cries and says that how can Mahadevi do something like that. Then she curses Guddu and Runjhun for not telling her. Guddu angrily shouts back and says what would she have done if she would have known. Amma rests her head on Rajju's shoulders and he to cries at his daughter's indiscretion.
Mittho says that she would have done anything. She would have gone on her knees and pleaded with the family. She accuses Runjhun and Guddu of taking revenge from them, especially Runjhun since she was forced to marry Guddu, she wanted Mahadevi to be linked with Jabbo, who is also a thug like Guddu. Runjhun is hurt and runs away. Amma and Rajju watch her running away, hurt by Mittho's accusations.
Runjhun and Guddu are both in their room and discuss who will get married to Mahadevi now. Runjhun says that he told her everything would be alright but it isn't. Guddu says in a way Mahadevi not getting married is a good thing, and he wants everything to be alright for Mahadevi as well. Runjhun says Jabbo didn't do the right thing by betraying Mahadevi like that. Runjhun places her hand on Guddu's shoulder and pleads with Guddu to find Jabbo. She tells him that she will talk to Jabbo and try to convince him. He gets up from the bed and gives her shoulder a reassuring squeeze before leaving to look for Jabbo.
A few minutes later Guddu is pacing in his room, and Kukkan and the rest come and say that they've looked high and low for Jabbo but can't find him. Kukkan says that they will look again and by morning they will find him. He tells Guddu that when they find Jabbo, the first thing he will do is beat some sense into Jabbo for playing with a girl's life like that. He says then Guddu can do whatever he wants. Guddu thinks about it, and then turns to Kukkan and asks him if he can ask him something.
Kukkan says that Guddu can ask of him anything, even his life. He tells Guddu that listening to him is a promise of his life. Guddu says he's not asking him to give up his life, but to save a life. That of Mahadevi and her kid. He tells Kukkan that even if Jabbo gets married to Mahadevi, he has so much hatred in him that he will make Mahadevi's life a living hell. He will cause her pain, and right now Mahadevi needs support in her life. He says if Mahadevi is in trouble then it will affect him too (I'm guessing indirectly through Runjhun). He says he's not forcing him, or asking him to do anything out of an obligation to a friend, but he wants to know if he would have any objections to marrying Mahadevi. Kukkan is taken aback.
At home every one is trying to grasp the situation. Amma says that Mahadevi committed a mistake in her innocence and they have to think of a way to rectify the mistake. Amma says they have to get Mahadevi married, and whatever good relationship comes her way, they should get her married. Billo says they don't have a problem getting Mahadevi married, but rather finding the person who will marry Mahadevi. She asks who will marry Mahadevi. Guddu comes and says Kukkan will marry Mahadevi.
Rajju is against it and says that he can not think of getting his daughter married to a street-wise thug. Vishnu asks if Guddu is come to put salt on their wounds. Guddu asks Runjhun to move aside so he can talk to Amma, and tells Amma that he realizes that Kukkan might not seem the best prospect for Mahadevi, but they have to think here of Mahadevi and her kid, not anything else. He says that Mahadevi needs someone who can support her in her time of need, and Kukkan is wise and ready enough to do so, then why are they having objections. He says that Mahadevi loved Jabbo and was ready to marry him, but Jabbo spoiled her life and ran away, and he's only hoping to rectify Jabbo's mistake. He tells Rajju he knows that Kukkan might not seem the type but he can be a good husband to Mahadevi and will support her in her time of need, and has a good head on his shoulders. He says even if they find a boy to get married to Mahadevi then what will happen if he finds out that Mahadevi is pregnant. Mahadevi will be hurt again.
He says that he just wanted to offer them a solution. Otherwise Rajju is her father and whatever he wants will happen. He isn't here to force the matter. He rises and is ready to leave. He says that he has one more thing to say, and say to all that it doesn't matter who their daughter gets married to that beings honor or respect to the family, but the fact that their daughter is married and happy.
He walks away but Amma stops him. She walks up to Guddu and tells Jabbo that Kukkan offering to marry Mahadevi is a big commitment on his part. He is sacrificing for Mahadevi and if they spend too much time thinking of the matter than it will become to late. She says that they have to rectify the matter as soon as they can, and have to think about Mahadevi's future and her child's future. She tells them that they will get Mahadevi married now itself. She tells Guddu to get Kukkan and the pandit for the marriage.
Rajju and Mittho aren't happy but don't know what else to do. The others also have no words to offer. Amma tells Runjhun to get Mahadevi ready. Runjhun leaves to get Mahadevi.
Kukkan and Mahadevi get married as the rest of the family watches. After their rounds are complete, the pandit asks for someone to come forward for the putting of the vermillion. Mittho doesn't move, along with Billo and Kalsanwali who offer comfort to her. Neither of the mamas move either. Guddu looks at everyone, and then Amma walks to Runjhun who is in a daze still over the recent turn of events. She tells Runjhun to help. Runjhun moves Mahadevi's jewelry from her hair, and holds her hand over Mahadevi's eyes as Kukkan puts vermillion on her forehead. Runjhun's fortune is at work as Kukkan becomes Mahadevi's husband.
Mittho looks at Runjhun and thinks that she has spoiled Mahadevi's life and is pretending to cry tears, but she isn't fooled and she will make sure that Runjhun never can be happy with Guddu. She will destroy their life.
Next Week: Guddu says that Mahadevi is married, and asks Amma if there is no problem, he would like to take Runjhun with him, tonight itself. Amma nods and says she will make preparations. Everyone else is shocked.
