Guddu is in the shop contemplating. Kukkan and Jabbo look at the time and then look at Guddu and, Kukkan asks him whther they can close the shop or not. Guddu looks at them and indicates that they can leave, then goes back to his thoughts. Runjhun is in her room, both lost in thoughts, both looking tired. Runjhun remembers Guddu's words about her getting used to torture, and her making him hollow from inside. Runjhun sighs and leans against the door frame. Guddu too seems to be as lost as Runjhun and neither seem to get much sleep as the morning rolls in.
In the morning, Runjhun walks out on the terrace and sees Guddu. He is still in the shop from last night. She looks at him, and Guddu's eyes on their own look up and notice Runjhun. They both look at each other, till Guddu looks away. His eyes are again drawn to Runjhun who hasn't moved from her spot. He looks at her again, then decides to walk away, since Runjhun refuses to budge. As he walks away, Runjhun's eyes follow him and she walks over to the end of the terrace to watch him, but he disappears at the end of the street, and Runjhun stares at the empty street.
Mittho comes in and calls out for Runjhun, but Runjhun doesn't hear anything. Mittho goes to Runjhun and shakes her out of her reverie. She asks Runjhun what is she doing early in the morning taking in the sights. Runjhun doesn't say anything, but her eyes keep wandering back to the street, in hopes of Guddu appearing. MIttho drags her from there telling her that the groom's family will be here and there is much work to do.
Runjhun cleans up the floor and goes about her chores as the day ears on. Runjhun watches the clock and the door, wondering where Guddu has gone, and worried about him. She worries if he's eaten anything at all, and where he went. In her distractions, she doesn't notice as the pressure cooker goes off, steaming. She finally turns and notices the pressure cooker and goes to take care of the food.
Later in the day, Diamond comes and announces to Mittho and Rajju that the boy's family are here. Everyone gather's at the door except for Mahadevi and Runjhun and greets the family and welcomes them in. The groom's father tells Rajju that this time they welcomed him in the house with even more fanfare, and asks him if it is because he plans on insulting him even more. Rajju doesn't know what to say, and the groom's father says he was joking. Rajju laughs and tells him to let bygones be bygones.
Mittho asks them for drinks and food and they say they will have that later but at first they want to see the birth chart for which they came. Mittho heads up to Mahadevi's room. Mahadevi in her room looking pretty, dressed up in a pink sari contemplates whether she should tell her mother about her pregnancy or quietly marry. She wonders if she gets married and the groom's family find out then she will be thrown from the house.
Mittho comes in and makes Mahadevi stand and says that her daughter is looking really pretty today. She tells Mahadevi to smile and not do anything wrong like she did at the restaurant. Mahadevi pastes on a small smile and nods. Mittho grabs the kundli from the drawer and walks down with Mahadevi.
Everyone is happy to see Mahadevi, and the groom's family look at her with adoration. Rajju talks about the wedding to the family saying that since it is his only daughter he will go all out. Mittho is about to hand the birth chart to the Pandit that came with the family but Rajju pulls Mittho aside and asks her to tell Runjhun to do it.
Mittho calls Runjhun down. Amma is confused. Runjhun walks up to Rajju and Mittho and they tell her to give the birth chart to the Pandit to chart the match of Mahdevi with the boy. Runjhun hands over the birth chart and the Pandit begins his charting.
Billo pulls Kalsanwali aside and asks her what if the Pandit reveals that the birth chart identifies Mahadevi as Bhagonwali then won't Amma be suspicious. Kalsanwali says that they have to think of something. Amma notices the two whispering and walks up to them and says that they shouldn't be in the side gossiping but with the family involved in the happiness of the occasion. They retort and says they were discussing the happiness of the family only, as they were concerned about her being a widow and partaking in the wedding ceremonies. Amma remembers Mittho's words and is says that she will go to her room then. She is about to leave when she spots Guddu. She announces his presence, happy to see him.
Everyone else turn around and see Guddu who watches quietly. Runjhun looks at Guddu, and the rest look on nervously. Amma heads to her room, and Guddu heads toward Runjhun. They both look at each other, and then he looks at the family. He sighs and shakes his head and then walks towards his and Runjhun's room.
Rajju walks over to the groom's father and tells him not to worry because now Guddu doesn't only what he tells them to do. Mittho tells Runjhun to make tea and bring snacks.
Guddu goes to the room and looks for the calendar by the floor. He finds it on top of the cupboard and marks another day off. He says four more days left, which means four more days of the challenge and four more days of their marriage. He says after the fourth day their marriage isn't valid.
Runjhun wonders what has happened to Guddu, and wonders why he thinks that the challenge is more important to her than he is. She says she wanted people to respect him, and that's why she wanted him to change. She says there is something definitely there, and wonders what changed. Mittho calls Runjhun and Runjhun rushes to finish her work.
The Pandit says that the birth charts have no match, and the family is about to leave, but the Pandit adds that it's the boy's birth chart that is weak and not matchable to the girls (Guddu is the only match for Runjhun). He says that the girl is very fortunate. The family brush aside concerns of the birth chart not matching and agree for the marriage. Since Rajju has the benefit, he says that he will not give dowry since their daughter has such a fortunate birth chart. The groom's family agrees.
Runjhun walks in with the tea and Guddu watches from the room above. The Pandit removes two dates one for next week and one for six months later. Mahadevi would prefer the one week later, but Rajju says that they will set the date for six month later. Mahadevi protests and Mittho asks if Mahadevi wants to get married within the week. Mahadevi nods and they all laugh thinking Mahadevi is excited for the marriage. Runjhun is the only one who feels like something wrong is happening.
Precap: Tea falls on the groom's shoes, and Mittho asks Runjhun to clean it up with her sari. Guddu watches as Runjhun hesitates but leans down. Guddu gets angrier by the minute as Mittho forces Runjhun to clean it up.
