I think Anita done all the running in the relationship with Ahem , I can't see him thinking past business and mom, Anita must have been the first to make contact with Ahem and snare him. Ahem didn't make anyone happy:

Ahem - regardless of business Ahem can't make the right decisions in his life and blames others.
Anita- Broke her heart for his mom
Gopi- He married on mom's say so but not willing to commit because still loves Anita. Gopi's illiteracy is just an excuse.
Koki - He agreed to her decision but not wholeheartedly

I won't comment on Anita's character just as yet simply because I have not seen enough of her to form an opinion about her. But when Ahem was not eager on defending and supporting his relationship with her, I would not even go as far as pointing fingers in Anita's direction. Just my view there 😛

I just think that he is taking his aggression out in a wrong way. He's spoiled 3 lives with his eagerness to follow each and every order of his mother, which is ridiculous.There is a line that separates respecting your elders and listening to them versus taking decisions in your hands and becoming a man eventually. Within the realm of everything, one can find solace after all 😳 ~

@ Sadhli: Oh gosh dammit! Stop praising me so much. I am just Sana, no Viewbie of any sort. But honestly, your words brought a tear in my eyes. THANK U KINDLY for placing me in such high respect but you are EQUALLY GOOD!! Believe me, I did nothing extraordinary in the bvd forum. I was fortunate enough to have really amazing forum members and towards the end, the forum was quite slow anyways. I have seen some of the posts that u have posted and I really admire them all but I have to admit that my personal favorite has to be the Ahem-Gopi post of urs. I am always here if u ever need anything. And Yuks has got even more experience than me in the guidance department so u guys will surely rock the forum. I have no qualms about that 😉

Inner beauty and simplicity, the innocence, the preciousness..That's all what Gopi has to offer. The love that emanates from such pure qualities of a person is divine and everlasting and can pacify any ordeal, any hatred, any anger out there. This is exactly what Gopi has to offer here. So I completely agree with your views that I hope Ahem falls for her and not a modernized version of hers. Enough already.. I want them to help each other equally. While one becomes the calming force in the other's life, I want Ahem to show a different world of education, awareness, and smartness to Gopi as well so that both can complement each other in every step of life 😳

For aehem after todays episode he just killed it, killed the charcter I was after. The last 20mins was worth watching, couldn't stop smilling after that cute smile of his,

Gopi-aehem-anita which koki shud be blamed for. She knew aehem loved anita and hated unpars then why make him marry gopi just because she wanted to rule her? Chee on that
She inxredibly changed but the relationship of those 3 are still at stake. Aehem stoned heart-hurt- recollecting his past and can't stand gopi.
Gopi however is dreaming big big dreams and aehem accepting her which will not be easy for him to accept her.
Aehem is melting which we can see as far as I have noticed.
Can't predict on anita poor soul hurt too much and she nt been in the show for the whole year xx

@ Ayesha: My apologies again for not helping out yesterday. Again, I am slowly catching up with everything. For now, this forum is the only one where I am posting little by little. And trying to read other wonderful threads but slowly and steadily *hehehe*. So please do forgive me for not being able to catch up with ur fanfics. I shall do that on the weekend hopefully once I have some time 😳

U were in BMTD forum too, right? I was not a very active member there but I was semi-active and made some great friends. For me, the friends I've gained through India-forums have been the most precious treasure of my life.

Wow, u have been here for a year now? So I am in the company of a pro here then 😉 ! I am glad that u stuck with the show. My philosophy is that I watch not more than 2-3 shows at a time. And since 2 of my shows have either ended or about to end, I could spare some time for Saathiya. Again, I have to give it up for Sadhli's videos or else I would not have been able to post these thoughts here today.

See for me though, today's episode is like nothing new, nothing old. Its a filler episode and believe me, you will have such filler episodes until Friday. I don't believe that they will be able to start off the actual Switzerland track until next week now and it would make sense to do that once the Saathiya team is back home. I gather they will be coming by this coming Friday or Saturday. So then the editing part and the voice dubbing or any other small fixes, etc can be done easily within the comforts of your own studio and people.

Gopi is just like any other girl. She always had a vision of getting married and for her, her hubby and in-laws are everything. Before she had no hopes of getting Ahem's love but with Koki promising her to help win Ahem's love, there is this hope..this ray of light that has come into her dark life. And she is able to dream because of this hope, this light. She is dreaming big, YES! But can we ever put a stop on how big or small one can dream? If u are dreaming anyways, u might as well dream big. Dreams are dreams and may not become a reality. So might as well dream big and perhaps get the courage and motivation to transform those dreams into a reality one day. I don't find anything wrong with Gopi dreaming to attain Ahem's love one day. It is inevitable anyways and from the soap's perspective, the sacred relationship that these two share in the name of marriage is going to get them together despite all odds.

What I like is that Ahem is changing but little by little. He is still the same man he was months and months back. However, he has started accepting Gopi's presence and not get overly annoyed by her. He gets annoyed at her mostly when she messes up or when he is thinking about Anita. That is again a natural reaction from a character like him. But he has also started to smile unconsciously towards her and take food from her despite having no nani or no kinjal's bein's in-laws around 😳 ~ I am referring to the sweets scene today. He could have easily said no but he reluctantly took it from her. These are indeed small and sweet steps that are resulting his heart to accept Gopi as time passes.

What I don't want is a Switzerland track where some dhamaka or drama leads up to a weak moment for Ahem and the romance begins because he feels guilty of taking advantage of Gopi. Argh, that would be the worst track ever as it has been used over and over again in so many soaps in the past.

Like Radz mentioned before.. Something sweet like Jigar showing Gopi around and her childlike but innocent smile and action melting Ahem's heart even more.. Something like Gopi saving Ahem despite Ahem's smartness and education.. Something such as Gopi becoming the sole reason of why their company wins the final deal and not because Ahem or Jigar were there.. It was mentioned in today's episode that they are competing against several other companies in Switzerland and the deal is not finalized yet but will be finalized there. I hope Gopi has some part in that final outcome.. It would be like Donald Trump's Apprentice show where there have been a session of two teams: Street smarts vs the book smarts and lo and behold, street smarts ended up doing a lot better than book smarts. Problem is that our Gopi does not fall into either one of the categories but I am still certain that she can achieve things that one can never comprehend to. I am so eagerly awaiting how they tackle this Switzerland track 😃

Hey its okay, I myself got busy yesterday, read whenever u have time.
Yes I been her for a year andi was not that much active on BMTD forum, but always on sony entertainment forum like on jhalak dikhlaja and indion idol 5 forums. So

Aehem is the main reason which attracted me on this show. I am pleased how he is changing throughout the past 2 months. Me sweating already as I been bearing same harsh scenes over and over again awful . These soaps channels I can't trust honestly they show sbs stuff like a week before and show it 2 weeks later same thing happeneing with swiss trip. Surely it going another ekta kappoor way as her style of show is like this.

Can't trust the swiss trip right now. Wee need to see what might happen am thrilled to watch it xx

Alritey.. So about the Switzerland track that u mentioned, OMG!! I'd love that to happen. That is such a beautiful track honestly. I hope they don't ruin it. Moreover, it could be something like this too as I mentioned in a post earlier.. Something like Gopi saving Ahem in a life-threatening incident where despite being an illiterate and not having so-called smartness in her, she is able to save his life and take care of her based on her innate abilities. I had thought about a plausible track of Gopi trying to reunite Ahem with Anita like Ajay Devgan did in HDDCS (Aish-Salman)- But that is too much to ask for from Gopi at this point. So I won't go there. But I love, love and love your imagination there about the probable tracks.. I really hope they can show something "hat-ke", u know? :)))

I don't know so much about Gopi saving Ahem's life. Didn't she do that earlier for him? From that snake - and he yelled at her or something. Ahem needs to notice her goodness, not in regards to him because he thinks she puts on an act around him, but in regards to other people when she doesn't know he's there. Then, I think, he will realise just how sweet and naive she is. I could so see Gopi helping a crying child in the streets, or an old lady cross the road despite her not knowing the language etc - and then Ahem could see. It'd be cute, and a slow realisation that yes, his wife is that good a person, and there are people in the world that use that to their advantage. Let him see that and then build on it, I think that would be so different as compared to the usual jealousy tracks etc (though I wouldn't mind that either. haha.).

About Gopi and her getting family's love.. Honestly, for the most part of it, she has only got Mota bhabhi's and Jigar's affection. In her culture, she has been taught that to consider her in-laws as her own family and her husband is a God for her. Whatever he says or does is what she needs to do at all costs. And this is where education comes into play and this is where I want Ahem to educate Gopi once he falls for her. But imagine Radz.. If ur own hubby is denouncing u in front of the entire world and is screaming how much he hates u and doesn't love u and doesn't want to be in the same room as of u.. What can u do then? Just what can u do then? She had made up her mind to leave the house but then Koki stopped her. Koki could have done the same eons ago cuz she knew how gem of a girl Gopi is.. But she didn't and we had to endure the silly box track of Nani ji there.. But one good thing that came out of it was that Koki got her senses back!! Right where they should have been in the first place...

I agree with this, I do. What I mean though is that here, Gopi's been told to stay back, but she should think for herself too. Koki might have told her that she'd help Ahem and Gopi get together, but Koki's not the one getting hurt by Ahem's treatment of her. I would love to see Jigar (because he adores his bhabhi, and he needs more scenes with her and Ahem) come up to Gopi when Ahem is ignoring her or something and spend time with her. And Ahem, when he turns back to see if Gopi is upset (because he always does), notices that she's giggling at something Jigar said. And he could wonder why she's never like that with him, never comfortable. He needs to realise how he's treated her is wrong. And then maybe get Koki's help in slowly fixing things. Koki's pushing things too much I find. Ahem and Gopi need to become friends first before they can be together, because too much has happened.

I love how they showed the insecurity of a mother when her son gets married. It is such a natural reaction and I've witnessed the same in my family too where my aunts had a hard time letting go of their sons. Its not an easy transition, u know.. And koki's strict convictions and ideals were another ordeal there. Anyhow, we can go back and forth on this and even though I am loving discussing this right now, I better get some beauty sleep too *hahaha* Talk to u girlies tomorrow.

I missed those scenes, though I heard about them. lol. yeah, it might be natural, but idk. haha. I just hope things pick up soon, and that good triumphs over evil in at least one episode.
