Meenal Jain Meenal Jain, one of the finalists of Sony's Indian Idol 2, is now ready to embark on a tour with Sonu Niigaam to London. Jain is scheduled to perform with Sonu around May 12, at the Royal Albert Hall. Cover versions "I am really excited about performing with Sonuji, that too at the Albert Hall. It's a very prestigious thing for me," she says. Jain reveals she will be singing her signature number, Lambi judaai, along with a medley of other songs. After Indian Idol, Meenal has been busy trying her voice at playback singing. "I recently sang a portion of the title track for Ram Gopal Verma's new film, Go. It's also being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu." Meenal says she was happy with the Idol results, though she hoped Karunya would win. "I like them both.
