Amma tells Guddu to drive carefully as it is Runjhun's first time on a bike. Runjhun hesitantly places her hand on Guddu's shoulder and he glances at her from the side of his eyes before driving away. Mahadevi watches them leaves and wishes that it was her on the bike with Guddu. Amma heads back and sees the three Mamis and shakes her head and ignores them. The Mami scrunch their faces and leave.
[CRYPT] Guddu takes Runjhun to the hospital, and Runjhun asks Guddu why he's not taking her to his home. Guddu in all seriousness his mother is not at home but at the hospital and that her condition is serious. Runjhun follows Guddu. He points out his father, and Runjhun drapes her pallo over her head. She takes blessing from Dinanath who asks for her name. Runjhun gives her name and Dinanath says that he is relieved to see her because her goodness and innocence is reflected on her face. Guddu rolls his eyes on the side and says the two lecture givers have met.[/CRYPT]
Guddu's father apologizes to Runjhun for whatever that happened. He tells her that he had no knowledge otherwise he would have tried to stop it. He asks Runjhun if she's happy with Guddu. Runjhun remembers Guddu almost raising hand on her and the way he threw Amma out of the room. Runjhun looks at Dinanath and says yes she is very happy with Guddu. Dinanath asks Runjhun if she was forced into coming here. Runjhun shakes her head and says that she wasn't forced and everything happened per her will. Guddu is happy. Dinanath says that for now accepting his lovely daughter in law is the right thing to do. He says that Guddu's mom had many dreams about Guddu's marriage, but unfortunately she's not in the best of health.
Guddu sobers up and is surprised when Runjhun asks to see his mom. Dinanath agrees and leads Runjhun to Guddu's mom's room. He tells Runjhun that she's been unconscious for a while now, and she's in a coma. Runjhun looks sadly and walks over by the end of the bed. Guddu looks at Runjhun, a little unsure. Runjhun touches Amma's feet as Guddu watches, and closes her eyes for blessing. Guddu's mom stirs.
Runjhun opens her eyes as Guddu and Dinanath look and are surprised to see Guddu's mom stirring. Runjhun wishes that all goes well with Guddu's mom, while Dinanath is happy to see his wife conscious. Guddu's mom calls his name and he is happy to hear his name. Dinanath calls for the nurse who tells them to leave the room. The doctor also comes.
Dinanath puts his hand on Guddu's shoulder and squeezes it for comfort, and Guddu is moved by the simple gesture. (Two unexpected touches for him) Runjhun watches Guddu and Dinanath, and Dinanath removes his hand and goes to grab a seat. Guddu looks angry again and moves away. Runjhun goes to stand beside Dinanath while they wait.
The mamis are not talking to each other so they ask the brothers to do their bidding for them. Rajju says that till Guddu is not out of this house they shouldn't fight. The mamis say that Guddu can't be trusted, but Rajju explains the reason why Guddu came back, and Amma over hears the conversation and is shocked. She thinks to herself that her Runjhun got betrayed.
Runjhun watches the distance between Guddu and his father, and hesitantly walks up to Guddu. She tells him that Lata is not only Guddu's mom but also Dinanath's wife. She tells him that Dinanath needs his son the most. Guddu tells her not to trouble him, and Runjhun urges to go to his father's side. Guddu gets angry and tells Runjhun to mind her business but Dinanath comes and tells him that the fight is between them, and they have severed their relationship, why is he removing his anger on Runjhun. Guddu tells Runjhun he should have never brought her here. Dinanath says that by touching Guddu's mother's feet Runjhun has done good not bad.
Guddu murmurs that Runjhun is his life's biggest bad luck when Dinanath asks him why he's mumbling like a girl. Guddu says he's not got anything to say. The doctor interrupts him and says that they should be happy as Lata's condition has improved significantly and she's actually doing much better, that they can perform the surgery tomorrow. He tells them they can meet with Lata, and Guddu and DInanath rush in while Runjhun remains and watches from the window.
Guddu is happy to see his mother well and he rushes to her side and he says that he doesn't know what he would have done if something had happened to her. Lata says she is happy to see her husband and son together and that is her biggest wish. She asks for her daughter in law, and Guddu is surprised. Dinanath calls Runjhun in and Lata calls her close to her. Guddu rises from the bed giving allowing Runjhun and Runjhun takes the hand that Lata holds out to her. Lata tells Runjhun that she is thankful to Runjhun. She tells Runjhun that it is because of her that her family is together and her son is back. Guddu stands in the back his arms folded across.
Lata tells Dinanath that they never got a daughter but they didn't need one as now they have Runjhun. She caresses Runjhun's cheeks and Runjhun is moved by the embrace. Guddu watches.
Precap: Runjhun is packing Guddu's stuff, when Guddu comes and asks her what she is doing (when he calls her name Runjhun, there is no malice, he says it so simply.) She tells him she is packing his bag. Guddu says he can see that but why is she packing his bags. Runjhun tells him he can leave now since his plan was successful.
