Quick thoughts.

I'd like to start with these words by Robert Seymour Bridges...

Dear Geet Writers:

A filmy episode...not perfect...no logic at all...but I loved it! Geet HSP is back and how! 👏 I do not feel like analyzing it to death...so will keep it simple. 😊 I am giving you the benefit of the doubt for today's episode...one day to get things on track.

Overall:

The word heard across the world "Geet" started today's episode...what a way to begin. This was a HUG...a real one...beautiful...so lovely to watch. Writers, I cannot say enough about how perfect it also was to have Geet express all her pain & anguish immediately. Such a normal reaction. All that worry she felt coming out without any restraint.

Moving from the intensity of that moment to Yash & Meera was a good touch today. I have to say, I am loving Yash's character and the chemistry with Meera. I cannot wait to see how you build up this track. 😃

The last sequence in the "Flower room" was fantastic. The kisses were natural and needed to show how far their relationship has evolved. I loved how Geet opens her heart and expresses what Maan means to her and Maan completes her statements. Having Maan immediately focus on wanting to know why Geet left was needed...thank you writers for not ignoring that! I did not like Geet saying that she left because she was worried about how everybody (family, society) would react when they found out about her truth. 😡

Loved:
1. The entire first sequence.
2. Maan saying to Geet that he was standing behind her as her strength. This was in comparison to the HSP dialogue where Maan had said that he would stand in between trouble and her. Nice way to show the relationship and character groW*H.

Hated:
1. The same Maan who was crawling out of his room is shown perfectly fit and fine. Try as I want, I cannot ignore that. Would have been nice to show him at least a little bit weaker. Outside of showing him carrying Geet, Maan seemed fit as a fiddle.
2. The camera going in circles around DD & GC constantly. Made it hard to focus.
3. "Never say never babes"...can we avoid such dialogues? Why are NRIs shown talking that way? Would be nice if stereotypes were not propagated.
4. A flower room? Very over the top.
5. I did not like Geet not answering a direct question about why she left. That said...I understand wanting to postpone that confrontation from a story/screenplay and series standpoint. This also allows you to re-use the whole engagement shoot that was done earlier. Still...having Geet avoid that question by making it seem like she left because she was scared or due to a momentary weakness was terrible. I guess, for now, Maan will not truly start connecting the dots till after the old engagement is aired.

Other:
1. Was it an editing error that had Naintara suddenly walking in the corridor wanting to hunt Geet right in the middle of the Geet - Maan conversation?

Dear friends, Hope you all are doing just fine. I loved watching today's episode and was greatly entertained. Thank you G-team for the union that we were waiting for some time now. Today I really loved maan-geet's first hug that represented their happiness due to finding out each other after a long and desperate search. The rest of the episode was maan-geet's own celebration and I am truly so happy for those fictional characters that right now anybody can use my face as a smiley emotion! Lol!

I loved the way meera looked so happy for geet; selfless feelings, quite rare now a days. Yash was entertaining as usual and dev and Nt were just doing what they were supposed to do. So, great going.

G-team, I understand and fully support geet's not telling her reasons for leaving the engagement but please dont make any serious issue on that between maan-geet. Whether maan finds out on his own or geet tells him, let the sinners get all the attention and not why geet never told him earlier. They have reached such a level of understanding that silly misunderstandings would simply deteriorate their characters and our love for them. If you really ever need to show distance between them then let it be out of pride/vanity/offence but not abuse of understanding. You have showed us already that they understand each other and so they should understand each other's vanity/pride too. So when one gets offended the other can try to calm or get offended too and lingering that may create satisfactory distance between them. But it should not happen that one doesn't understand what happened to the other. I hope I'm neither too early nor too late for saying these.

Thanks again for such a wonderful episode. It was very pleasant and treasured.

MSK is back ! Woohoo !!! Both Maaneet and viewers were energized by THE HUG !!

Geet hears Maan calling her, turns around and runs into his open arms. Folks had termed it as very filmy yesterday, SRKish'.who cares. I just lapped it up '. Just the right medicine for us Maaneet deprived fans. Liked the duration of the hug too ' a full 2 mins with a 360 degree view'..Awesome ! Loved the way Maaneet cherished the hug. Good emotions by GC and DD'.gosh, how I missed Maaneet with Mahi.

Where did all these folks in the hallway come from ? Can understand YashMeera being there. Loved the way they truly appreciated Maaneet's milan.

Loved the authoritative way Geet talks to Maan 'pagalon ki tarah dhoondh rahi thi, kitni akeli ho gayi thee apke bina.

You have to go back a few episodes to understand Geet's POV ' today's epi is continued from after she returns to find the engagement party wrapped up, Maan nowhere to be found, Geet frantically trying to trace him via his credit cards, thinking Maan is mad with her. Maan trying to read her eyes all this time'.his one overwhelming thought at the campsite was to be able read her eyes one more time'.to know her true feelings'isi ka to intezaar tha, tumhara intezaar tha Geet, he says'.all doubts put to rest.

Just meeting and holding Geet seems to bring Maan back to normal. Luvd the way Geet throws back Maan's words at him. But sensing their audience, Maan's protective instinct kicks in and he smartly takes Geet to a place where they can have some privacy.

YashMeera ' loved their first meeting. Great potential Nissar , CVs to build this jodi'.a breath of fresh air. Waise bataiye, jaan pehechan ke liye aur kya karna hoga ' LOL!

So Yash is still expecting Geet to keep her promise'hmmm'will post my hunch later.

Maan takes Geet to the 'Flower Room'. Many folks didn't know what to make of this room'but trust me, hospitals do have a florist on site'.either for visitors to buy flowers for patients or the hospital on occasion, sends flowers to patients. So this room wasn't a figment of Nissar's imagination. Maan is a high profile personality in Delhi. Zahir hai, after learning about his accident, well-wishers sent him flowers that were kept in a separate room in the VVIP area :-D

Nissar ' loved the attention to detail given by you today in the Maaneet scene(s). Enjoyed and appreciated every bit of it' the eyelocks n the eye talk, the subtle nodding of heads, the elegant way of showing Maaneet's pent up passion, the 'bolo na Geet' n 'haan Geet', Mahi. Guess the only one missing was 'Chup' ' LOL ! Thank you !

Geet feels confident enough to touch Maan's face today :-) Loved the way Maan smiles in response'and then the next moment each overcome by passion'.beautiful ! Maan still conveys how much Geet means to him by the kiss on her forehead'Geet almost reciprocates but feels shy and rests her head on his shoulder. The sheer happiness on Maan's face. Itni yaad aa rahi thi meri'haan Geet ? Bolo na Geet, itni yaad aa rahi thi?

Barry, u did an awesome job today with the dialogues. Were they reading from blank cards amidst the flowers or were the dialogues written on them ?

First indication to Maan that something's not right ,,,,see the way he tries to read her eyes. Why does Geet ask that question ? In response, Maan reads his own poem'and then says, I'd never left so how can I be back?

Aur doori ke bina nazdikiyan nahi ho sakti

Overcome by his response. Geet kisses him on his forehead'Notice the surprise and happiness on Maan's face and the shyness in Geet..itna maine rakhta hoon mein tumhari zindagi mein ? Haan Geet? To tumne mujhpe bharosa kyun nahi kiya Geet'why did u suddenly leave the engagement without saying a word ? What was the reason, bolo na Geet?

But the doctor's remarks stop Geet in her tracks. Maan can see her hesitation'notices the way she avoids his eyes'coz he can now read them, again Bina tumhara jawab sune mein yahaan se jaanewala nahi hoon Geet. So when Geet gives her explanantion about hurting Dadi and Maan's prestige it seems logical'.something he will appreciate down the road. But Maan will also remember her hesitation. But at the same time when Maan asks Sach keh rahi ho geet'u can sense her dilemma bcoz she knows that truth is by far the most important thing for Maan and she has just deferred telling him the truth about Dev.

Overall a very good episode'perfectly tailored to meet viewers pent up emotions about missing Maaneet.

Nissar ' very well executed. Can see u r back from vacation. But now you and Swati need to be careful how you carve out Dev now that you have YashMeera jodi being liked by the viewers. You now have 3 threads to pursue'.Maaneet, YashMeera and Dev/NT. Oh, and don't go soft on Dev'.he is still the villain, not just NT. So stop trying to turn Dev into a good guy.
Swati, CVs ' good continuation. Good to see Maan's character has not yet been tampered with. Loved the stronger, more confident Geet
Barry ' Loved the dialogues today.
Editing ' Good job'.we would have been p****d if u'd messed up on such an important day.

Some thoughts on how the Yash thread would shape up in the near future'.
Yash wants Geet to keep her promise to him .... run his company (he offered her the CEO position) and take care of his brats.

How will Geet keep her promise ?

Geet could tell Maan about how Yash helped her trace Maan in the hospital and the promise she had to make to get that info. Geet may also tell him about how Dadi threw her out of the house. Now that Geet has told Maan why she ran away at the engagement, Maan will be more open to Geet working at Yash's.

How will Geet end up working at Yash's? Maan buys Yash's company and makes Geet the CEO

Yash's problem solved.
Geet keeps her promise.
Maaneet together.
Maan keeps Geet outta NT's and Dadi's way until he recovers and deals with Dev-NT. Dadi bhi chup !

Overall, I am reasonably pleased, but would have expected a little bit more from both from GC and DD. I know recuperation is a slow process!!

My heart went out to Geet, I can sympathize with her completely. The feelings, the emotions, its not easy being away from a loved one and seeing them when you dont know when you will see them again. ❤️

Yash Malthotra, I am not sure about your purpose, but I hope you have a strong role to play in the serial. I dont want to see you become another cameo. I have a strong feeling there is more to his character than meets the eye. Especially the way he said the "Mission Accomplished" dialogue!! Him hugging Myra, very like him. Creatives havent goofed up here.😃

Myra, for once I did not feel you were redundant. You said your words for today, almost accomplished your task. But I hope you have a bigger role to play with the truth coming out.😉

Random Flowers- cinematic liberty!!
Hospital watching the reunion-Well realistically, people stay back to watch when two lovers meet anywhere. So not out of place.
Maan asking for the truth- Reasonable demand, as he knows Geet never left him.
Geet not telling the truth- Sab ek hi din mein dikha diya, to serial kaise chalega. "Pichar abhi baaki hai mere dost!!"

Welcome back GC!

Wow, what a hug, but again the continuance of story was not there!

Im upset with CV's that now this track is here, there should have been some misunderstanding, but they failed to ignore the logic once again!

Geet yelling at Maan, why did he leave her...hello creatives, who was it that left...didn't Geet leave him...how did we forget. Maan didnt go anywhere, he was injured at KC, didnt anyone see this.

Hospital scene...what's with hospital staff looking at the couple, don't they realize that he's a patient and should go back to his room! Didnt he just pull is IV out and ran looking for Geet...didn't he feel weak! Did it even make sense...I guess once again logic gone Maan as a patient!

It was great seeing MAan and Geet together today.

THAT hug was long.

It had the longing of two lovers meeting after a long time.

By the way- I got dizzy with the rotating cameras...

MAAN and GEET don't need rotating cameras to show their hug to be special...they emote excellently and don't need banavat or special effects..not ones that cause dizziness

Seriously...please this must be kept in mind.

IT made the entire scene way too filmy

A few lines on the hug..

IT was really a hit right after the dialogue where she says she will never talk to him again and go away and won't come back even if he finds her.

This is what hit Maan..That is what he did - tried to find her and she couldn't be found.

The only way to hurt Maan is taking away Geet from him

DA QuESTION and other things

Maan's question to Geet after KNOWING how much he matters to him...and her consequent answer about how she went away because she got scared at the last moment about what people will say and his izzat- will make Maan join the dots and make the connections himself soon enough.

I think these were some clever dialogues which keep both a scope of misunderstanding(because of GEET's half-lie to Maan) and understanding for Maan about the actual reason why Geet ran away

HE is not convinced though and that might also play a major part when he gets to know the story

BUT it must be noted that GEET would have told him if she had not heard the part about Maan needing to be kept away from anything stressful

I think even he gets some uneasiness in his mind because of this- knowing Geet as he does..he's pretty sure she will evade..

Remember- he has once thought her jhootha..and paid for it with his tears..he will not do it again.

his love and pull towards Geet and now the baby too...won't let him push Geet away at all.

So if there's anyone who will go away, it will be Geet.

Maan according to me should find out the truth by himself..I really want him to connect the dots and use the land as a proof against Dev and NT

Anyway- I guess Geet will be sent away one way or the other- perhaps because she promised Yash ..His promise would be to handle his factory or be the nanny of the bacchas..and she'll have to go away...

Perhaps that is what was meant by more moments in a different scenario?
