Gunjan:She is brought in an Anglo Indian family.She is a smart girl who is an art lover.Roy and Manu are the Anglo Indian couple's{Fernandus and Maggie} sons.
Gunjan is like their dearest sister.Gunjan is the pet of Fernandus and Maggie.Fernandus drinks a lot.So Maggie fights with him.Only Gunjan can sort out the problem.She spreads happiness everywhere and they all dance with her forgetting the fight.However drunk Fernandus is,when he sees Gunjan he becomes energetic and dances with him.
She loves reading books.Her friends Diya and Bindhya like to listen to the stories she reads.They are lazy to read books.
Gunjan is walking with some books in the college library.By mistake a boy hits her and the books fall down.
G:What is this?Don't you have eyes?
He:These are books.I'm looking at your face and talking.Now do you understand that i have eyes?
Gunjan is stunned by his reply.She blinks her eyes with wonder.
She thinks:He is oversmart.
She takes the books.
He:i will take them for you.
G:No thanks.I have taken the books.If you try to help me,the books may fall down again.
He:But i did'nt put your books down.You only put them down when i hit you by mistake.
G:Your talk is cultureless.If you want to know how to talk you should read books.Putting the girl's books on the floor is not enough.
He:I came here to read books.The books fell down without my knowledge.You talked to me first.
G:Ok ok.
Gunjan walks forward.Slowly she turns back.He is smiling at her.
G:Why are you looking at me?
He:Why did you turn back?
She is embarassed.
G:Are you new to this library?
He:Yes.I'm Samrat.
G:I knew that you are new.That's why you don't know how to respect college students.
S:What?
G:When you start cleaning the library you will learn it grafually.
S:What rubbish.I'm not here to do cleaning.I'm a new student in this college.
G:Oh!I thought you are...
S:No please..don't say that i was looking like a sweeper.
She smirks.She walks forward.
S:Hey...you did'nt tell your name.
Gunjan turns back:Gunjan.
S:What?
She thinks:I think he is a deaf.
S:What did you say?Could'nt hear your name.
G:I will not repeat my name.
She walks away.
S:I will find out your name.
Again she turns back and looks at him.He smiles.She walks away.
