Riddhima's settled, satisfied with life...BUT

After watching yesterday's BEAUTIFUL AR scene, one thing is for sure. Riddhima isn't complaining about her life but she knows she had it better once upon a time. AR have both grown 'old', they've matured and have learnt how to take the bitter-sweet facts thrown at them in their stride. She isn't unhappy with Sid, he is a good husband. But there is that *sigh* feeling within her and that was quite clear when she said 'kuch aur hi din the woh'. Riddhima has seen happier times because she once had a life she could only dream of but now she has accepted things how they are. She looks tired. Even if it is for just a moment, you saw her deep desires coming out again when both AR looked in to each other's eyes for those few seconds. There is a life they could have had together (and they both know that) and I think its pretty safe to say that she wouldn't have looked tired in that relationship.

Technically she has moved on because she knows how to move on practically but she has only done that by burying those desires. Riddhima is satisfied with life but she knows she could have had it better...!

Its that 'khalish' both AR feel without each other.

P.S. This is Riddhima even after she has decided to move on so God knows how they will ever show Armaan moving on completely.

Reemu your topic is amazing <3
I agree there is' khalish' without AR and and theres 'khalish' in their life without each other too !
Riddhima has accepted she is married and that she is happy that her husband is a good man ! But Armaan was the one whom she loved ,her heart learnt how to love the first time when she fell in love with him.
Life with Armaan is wat she desired ,she had a thought of a life with him .

Sorry to butt in a AR topic...But couldn't help wondering...Satisfaction comes ONLY when you are happy with what you have...If she still wished or desired something else, she would NOT have been satisfied...pretty contradictory right? 'coz satisfaction and happiness can never be mutually exclusive....

lowwe youre topic as always reema 😳

there'll always be a BIG what if in her life.. and no matter how much she has moved on in her life she will not be happy unless a part of her knows tht armaan is happy and is there for her.
a perfect married life is what she chose over an imperfect bittersweet love!
i hope someday she realises perfect wasnt meant for her ;)

^@rapunzel84: By satisfied, I mean she isn't complaining about her life. She has accepted it how it is. She isn't asking for anything else but there is that desire within her which she knows she has to suppress.

Its just like that song from Aandhi if I were to sum up what I'm trying to say...

'Tere bina zindagi se shikva toh nahi.......tere bina zindagi bhi lekin zindagi toh nahi'.

So she's not complaining about her life but she knows she has had better.

Beautifully put Reemz. Nothing i can add except that- They feel that something's missing. The Guy knows it well enough to put it into word, the Girl doesnt yet want to put a finger on it :-)
But both know , and we know too- There's something incomplete .
and yes- the *sigh*
