Hello BBBians,

I found this article about Lubna Salim coming back in another series on Zee TV.I would like to see how much challange this new job would give her considering she did not find her role as leela Bhabhi challenging any more.I was so cross with her when I read her reason for living BBB .I did not even like when she came to BBB farewell party , as if to rub in their faces to say that the show did not work without her.😔..ANyways this are just my thoughts and I am sure she was right for herself for leaving Baa Bahu Baby... What do you guys think ?

Endemol India is trying to rope in some big and talented names for its upcoming show Dahan on Zee TV. After finalising Bollywood actor Yashpal Sharma, other stalwarts joining him are Farooq Sheikh and Lubna Salim. Actor Jatin Shah too will be seen in a key role.

Informs a source, "After Yashpal, the production house has brought in veterans like Farooq Sheikh and Lubna. Balaji find Jatin Shah too will be seen in the show playing a pivotal role in it. Anupama Singh who played Vikram Gokhale's wife in Colors' Jeevan Saathi too will be seen in the show. They have also signed Bhavna Khanna. The show will launch sometime in May and in all likelihood will be a primetime daily. Yashpal will play the central character; of a Thakur, an arbitrator in a village in UP."

We sent a text message to Sheikh who said, "I am still reading the script. I will confirm this in a week's time." Salim however didn't revert. Shah too refused to comment.

We also sent a text message to Rajesh Chaddha, director Operations, Endemol India but he didn't revert.

Where Salim was last seen in Star Plus' Baa Bahoo aur Baby, Farooq is best remembered for his hosting in Zee TV's popular chat show Jeena issi ka naam hai.

Yay! I can't wait to watch it! I really missed Lubna when she decided to quit BBB.

Hummm forget it yarr ..as much as I know the true reason was her family problem and so we can forgive her. All the best to Lubna.

I believe it could be .. And i will not mention this again but I dont think I will like her again

I got used to new Leela so her exit was not a problem for me.. Even if Lubna would have been there, ratings would have remained the same because season 2 received almost same ratings as season 1's episodes in 2008.
Infact at times they were even better (touched 1.7 in september 2009).

I wish her all the best, but I am not going to watch it...I already made a mistake of watching Vaishali's uttaran!!!

I am sure that any show she does cant match up to BBB, it was a cult show after all and she was lucky she and evn others got to do it.

ha! you are right, i watched uttaran once just to see how good praveena will be doing, well she was doing great acting of standing in the back and getting one face shot ever 5 minutes and same usual shock faces. and she didn't look as lively as praveena, looked like someone you don't want to know or be friends with, complete opposite of praveena. looked like 50+ as well, altho in bbb around 30ish.
i will say one thing she's gained here: NO chance of ever getting a decent award again. or getting a role with decent screen time or character. will always get to play old lady now.

J.D. was right all along, he pays a little less than the craproduction houses, but they all get a satifying feeling with his shows. they should have been glad to be in a show which COMPLETELY stood out, but i guess in 2 years she forgot it all and decided she made BBB famous, and not the other way around.

I hate it when actors do that. a producer (JD) trusts in you to do this, but as soon as they see a way out, they run like rats, but until they get offer, they say they love it; soo ungrateful.

btw, guys, whats this family problem you are talking about for lubna's leave?
