Next week's precap is almost like a repeat of Dev and Radhika's conversation before Goa's trip. At that time, Radhika was reluctant to go because of Vishaka and Dev was very keen and he was asking Radhika to be just Radhika in Goa and not be the CB or his wife. Now, it seems that it would be Radhika who would persuade a reluctant Dev and wants him to be just Dev. So, they are sort of back to their parallels with role reversal of Dev and Radhika. Now Dev is acting duty bound and Radhika wants him to be carefree. Whenever Radhika initiates something, she is usually more successful than Dev. So, it would be nice to see that.

As far as Vishaka is concerned, all the viewers want a break from her character for some time. Last year, Radhika lived for almost three months at PB before being kicked out. Hopefully, it won't be that long for Vishaka. Perhaps after the HM, Vishaka would make her move on Dev and it would backfire on her.
As far as Radhika opposing Dev by trying to send away Vishaka with her father, I think that was a wise move on her part. Just because she is Dev's wife, she doesn't have to agree with all his decisions. This showed her independent thinking from him which is important as she is equal to him in both title and as a wife. The ending was good as she still supported him even though she disagrees with him. So, next week she will give up trying to remove Vishaka and now hopefully would work on Dadi to repair her relationship with Dev. Dev would come out of his depression sooner if Dadi forgives him and gives him the benefit of doubt. He has never done anything for his own selfish purpose. Even if Dadi disagrees with him, she needs to give him some space and also stop taking things away from him related to his position as a RP because it undermines his authority in front of other people.

Why, I agree that this time with Rads at the steering wheel, their trip will be a success. Crisis either brings a couple together or tears them apart. This episode was to bring them next to each other and be there for one another.
I also agree that Vishakha needs to run away again for a few days.... Enough already.
Patni dharm is standing by or with your husband in times of crisis, even though you disagree with him. Dev made the same point too. Up until now Radhka handled life's adversities by herself and now she has Dev and she could have gone to him. Now Dev is isolated and if Radhika left him too, she realizes that he would feel total abandonment and get depressed even more. She stepped up to the plate.

Very good post Gardes. - Thanks, Bee.

That scene was good. It was such a strong Radhika. Though she did oppose her husband, there was not a least bit of dent in her confidence. She has been growing day by day and what growth it is. - This scene was an outcome of a realization on Radhika's part. I love this scene in more ways than one in that Radhika, who is respectful in public, is getting very demonstrative in private with Dev. She is learning to build initmacy with her husband. They are starting to look like a couple as they are facing the issues of couples together! Lovely!

The other strong Radhika who told babuji the actual truth was totally lost in the creatives obsession of always using the dream scene. While I was watching that I knew very well, this is not going to be real. But nonetheless, the sublime Radh holding on to her Patni dharm was good in the last scene. So, this last scene compensated for the strongest radh lost in the dream scene. - Bee, I disagree with you here. This would have been ideal for us to see happen but the scene was shown as Radhika's realization of the reason why Dev was not disclosing why he had to bring Vish to PB. With Babuji there in person the reality hit her that telling Babuji and everyone would be so easy but look this may be the outcome. The dream scene was again for a reason.

About that scene I also loved the fact that the parchai that could not meet with the body yday, did meet in todays episode. In the sense that Dev didn't try to go away from her and was ready to listen. Dev said what he felt, bcos Radh did go against him. But Radh so beautifully explained that she will do what she has to do as his wife, but also will do what she has to do as the son's wife of her husband's family. - The parchai dialogue was so subtle and sublime! She used his own words to convince him and tell him her reasons. The whole swing scene was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Yes, I am with you when you say - Radh learned her Patni Dharm today. I love this strong Radh. She is so right. - The way I see it, this is really the end of Radhika's journey and the beginning of RaDev's journey! She really learned to be a Patni in the real sense. The rest of the Dharms can stay but this was the most important one!

Actually that last scene also reminded me of the days when Vishaka was the CB of the PF family.

During those times, Vishaka always used to sleep on the bed in Dev's room and Dev used to be depressed and venture into the garden and sit on the swing thinking about Rad. There were also days when Rad used to come to meet him/talk him out of his love for her.

Todays that scene was direct reminder of those old days, only change was now Rad & Dev are married and are one and have no disagreements.

YES! I agree with you wholeheartedly, Bee! What a ride it has been from then to now! 5 years from now with CB off TV, my memories of CB would always have a swing.

Gardes........today was a good episode.......the things I liked

- Babuji hates vishaka and never wants to do anything with her.....all his life he did not do anything when amma was abusing Radhika.....he did protest but did not do anything..today after refusing initially that he will not take her back , at the end he said that for Radhika happiness he is ready to do anything.............I wanted to see this for a long time and today I am happy.

- Vaishali....questioning babuji that why Vishaka has to be her sons responsibilty when Shastriji is the father.

- Radhika who hardly talks openly is now starting to talk.....I know she went against Devs wishes but atlease by saying openly that she wants Vishaka to leave she has finally accepted some facts about Vishaka......and she is voicing her opinion.

-Vishaka trying to woo Dev and him not paying any attention..........I wonder when will Vishaka get bored with all this lovey dovey acting and will finally take the wrong step.

- Dev and Radhika on the swing.........I think Radhika has realised that she has to work on this with Dev and not against him and all by herself..........since she has always worked by herself she does not understand the value of sharing and I think finally today it hit her......she is going to slowly work on him hopefully.

- Also Radhika who gives so much importance on being a choti bahu and doing all the house work wants Dev to take her somewhere else..where they can be just Dev and Radhika...........this is a major achievement for her......she wants to cheer him up..........she does not want Dev to loose his flute and become depressed. If one has to live with pain then it is better to smile and live life as much as one can.......getting sad, morose and being alone does not solve anything.....

"zindagi zindadilli ka naam hai, murdadil kya khak jeeya karte hai"

misti yes today's was a good episode... Here are some more points added to ur already mentioned ones :-
- Many of us thought that when Shastri ji would take Visakha away,Dev would object to it and not allow that to happen... but nothing happened.. He only objected when Visakha refused shamelessely to go with Shastri ji, if she would not hav he would have allowed her to leave... though he would have had a little disappointment with Radhika but it would not have been much as he knew that was the best method.
- Today by speaking openly, Radhika has left her in-laws in little doubt, that she had provoked Dev to get Visakha in PB... She has also proved that her first priorities now lies with her in-laws and not her Mayka.... In future the MIRCHA gang cannot take advantage about this confusion... She has now opened the doors for her in-laws to trust her completely
- By asking Dev to take her out, she has proved Dev, that for her, his happiness comes first and she can do anything.... In the Precap, she takes his name which he wants her to do... that is a sign that she had started working on pulling Dev out of the guilt trip

Thanks Gardes for good post. It was very good episode.
If Radhika keeps on trying to remove Vishkanya from PH, she will open the door for Vish to poison Dev's mind by telling him that Rad is going against his wishes. He thinks the only person who will understand his decision will be his Radhika. Dev will gain his confidence only if Radh gives him fullest support without questioning his decision. As Dev said in March 5th episode that with her support all his pain will go away. I hope Radhika becomes his Preyasi and not his Rukhmani and does not leave his side even if he tries to push her away from him. Right now his mind and emotions are in turmoil.
Her support will make him stronger and wiser.

Gardes,
Thanks for the lovely answers 😊
In the 2nd para above where you say you disagree. Actually I think i didn't write in details. I agree to your answer. I also feel that that dream scene was for a reason. A reason where if she discloses the truth then its not right for many reasons and more important among those reasons was the reason of her Babuji. So, I was fine with that scene being a dream sequence. Whatever they should in that dream sequence is not what i wanted or rather not how I wanted it to be. It didn't look right. Though that dream sequence was the Strongest Radhika, for me it was not the Radh I want at that moment. The Strong Radhika near the swing taking the lead and working together as wife and husband in resolving the issue is what I liked.
Did i clarify myself? 😊 More disagreements?

Thanks, Tazzi. You are right. Dev is in turmoil and he needs someone on his side or he could go into deep depression. Radhika finally had a realization that she is his ardhangini. She does not have to agree all the time but she has to support him in his decision to avoid furthering the crisis. Her dialogue was the best in a long time and was genuine. It lacked vachans and I liked that. As I agreed with Bee earlier that the parchai part was the sweetest and the best part of the scene. All the other times that she used Patni Dharm did not mean much to me until yesterday.
On a personal note when going through a personal crisis, I was told by someone whose advice I respected that when you disagree with someone, always let your opinion be known before you start supporting the person and I have followed that advice all these years in any difficult situation. Radhika did just that on Friday.
Yay, Radhika!

No more disagreements. 😃
