SRK SURPRISED TO BEAT SHAHID AT APSARA AWARDS !

Shah Rukh Khan knows what to say when he gets awards. At a time when the industry is going gaga over Aamir's 3 idiots the King Khan went up the stage to accept the best actor's award for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi at the Apsara Awards.

A pleasantly surprised SRK admitted that he has thought he was done with the film and he would not be in any awards show this year because he had no noteworthy films in 2009. "I thought I was over and done with Rab Ne as I didn't know that the yearly circle for Apsara Awards was November to November.

It is great to begin the year with the best actor award. I am thrilled to get the award, especially with the kind of performances including Shahid from Kaminey and couple of others," he says praising Shahid.
