well, it might be possible that he holds him self responsioble for whatever happened in the hospital on that dreadful day.. and as we saw today ridhimma is not her old usual self, there is an air about her that is really self protected, like she is scared that somebody will uncover it and whatever is there down below isnt something she wants the world to see...

so maybe dr shashank holds him self responsble for whatever has gone wrong with his daughter, to the question 'kya aapne kisi ko zinda hi maar diya hai?' he answers with respect to ridhimma, so it has to be something related to her.. tho contradictory to all that i have said here, armaan was related to her and when she tells atul that 'us jagah ne mera sab kuch cheen liya tha..' so i wonder..
