But yes I did have big beefs with the lifeless Shoumen and the arrogant wussy Tarun. I was less than impressed with Vaishali whose personality and stage presence were lackluster. However, she has grown in singing as well as presence so I now backtrack to say she is a worthy winner.

I did love Pratibha who I thought should have gone much farther, I still prefer her voice quality and performance quotient. I thought Zaheer could have been a formidable competitor if he could have stayed on. I adored Asma, not for her singing, but for her endearing personality. I know she was the Sanjaya Malakar of SRGMP, but people are overtly critical. She is not as bad as she is made out to me. Most importantly her hair is quite tame and gorgeous. And why I actually dearly hoped Yashita would win, and if its for her booty shakin so be it.

I'm a shallow person, I like to be truly entertained by television. When I'm interested in music, I plug in the i-pod or pop in a CD - and I am a stickler about speaker brands too.

WOW another awesome analysis and viewpoint

and the fact u like asma helps 😆

Very well said RTH. I watch this for entertainment as well, after all that's the purpose of the TV. Without entertainment, a show is boring and dull. Because we just don't want to listen to songs which we can hear it over the player. There has to be more aspects to it.

And I agree, Asma gave as a relief, by entertaining us, rather than watching dull performances of other contestants.

Agree with both u and RTH here

afterall tv is a visual medium rite

like u and RTH said if it were solely for music then there are other means like ipod etc but because tv is a visual medium ppl wanna watch something entertaining

and entertainment is something that everyone can understand because one can always say yes that was visually appealing to me whatever that maybe in the context of the show

music to watch from a musical perspective is not easy to understand as we are not all trained musicians

Sorry disagree with u.....Vaishali was good and has really grown even more as a singer...though at the time I preferred Pratibha but its not right to say that Vaishalli is not at par...as for regional rounds we saw how Rahul Dutta became a srgmp Bangla champ who was not at all at par with the otehr cotnestants in srgmp lil champs...so regional votes can also falter...but nevertheless I think Viahsali is good....

Your post is replete with so many contentious statements that I don't even know where to begin.

First off, you are inviting the wrath of the fans of

1) Vaishali

2) Yashita

3) Tarun

4) Asma (yes, she has fans too! )

5) Sara

6) Shoumen

Second, you are comparing kids (what? again?) with adults.

It's best if I leave it at that. The others will jump in, I am sure. Prepare yourself for an onslaught. Good luck.

I know I was thinking the same 😉😆

Your logic for discussion is completely off again. First of all there is no comaprision of adult show(C2009) with kids show(LC2009) and an irregular show like mega challange.Mega challange is half baked show, it is neither old format nor new format. Other thing Mega challange has all previous challangers, so do you want to keep watching same contestants again and again every year? Why not tape their performance and watch them every year. But one thing is for sure, you keep the forum busy.😆

Good thing with you is you can enjoy a musical show without any singer. But I agree with you, there should be entertainment. Singing to mostly ghisi piti hi hoti haan kisi kisi din acha lag jata woh bhi because of theme.

Hmm.. street brawls and neighbours' squabbles are also entertaining, eh?

But sometimes music is entertaining too, and I find it interesting how fresh young people deal with classics and other good bad and ugly songs that had only one voice. I too watch them for entertainment only.😳

Now, I'm not being self-righteous here. It was just my point of view. My digestive system cannot cope with extra seasoning.😔

He talked about his source of entertainment not about yours.😃
