Singers not available to replace Rafi Sahab

Looking at all the singers it seems there are several good lady singers. However it is quite difficult to find a Rafi replacement at this moment. It seems that ladies are more talented singers than men. Among lady singers we have Shreya, Chitraji, Alkaji, Nihira, Anwesha, Aishwarya, Anamika etc.

Males singers we got Sonuji, Himeshji, KK, Atif, Kumar who are not close. Uditji came close but still there is a huge gap I think.

Coming to lata mangeshkar, I will not say anamika or chitra or alka or kavita are good replacements at all.

Lata mangeshkar, if one wants to substitute her, should use singers like shreya,anuradha paudwal,anwesha ,aishwariya, and last but infact the most, sadhana sargam and abhilasha who really have the sweetness and divinity in them. 😊

These ladies are all gifted.👏👏👏 Chitraji weaves magic too.

KK, Atif,Sanu and shaan are all kishore gharana members. Sanu is just a cheap imitation of kishore, amit kumar has his dad's voice but lacks his dad's sophistication, kk has learnt corectly from his guru kishore and is a good product. shaan is ok, babul is not bad but not good.

Shaan is pretty good but does not have the full range either , quite true.

himesh i won't bring up his name while talking abt real proper singers.😆 This was a red herring for u.

Rafi gharana:
Mohd Aziz - a cheap voice which has limited range and acc to manmohan desai, a besura singer.. odd diction and average singing
Shabbir kumar - a bad copy of rafi.. rotten vocal range and also off key but better than aziz.
Anwar - good copy of rafi's voice.. similar to amit kumar. he lacks rafi's aatma, divinity and sophistication.
Mahendra kapoor - hmm i dont see the pt of this fellow's career as it was the time when rafi was round.. he could have easily sang m kapoor numbers 10 times better but aah well. Yes lovely voice but no longer around.
Sonu nigam- the most overrated member of this gharana to the extent that some ustaad's consider him to be better than the original 🤢 . the one quality that he has is rafi's ability to sound femine wand at the same time sounding like a man. contrary to popular belief, he does not have a "terrific vocal range" it is very average.. shrill and nasal in high pitch just like everyone else.. he just attempts it. also he is not completely versatile like rafi. one can TRY everything, but only rafi can DO EVERYTHING. sonu is good for sentimental sad romantic and commercial time pass tunes. great voice for certain song types.
Udit narayan - the BEST member.. voice quality ,style, sophistication.. lacking in range and versatility but is awesome..nice rich voice

imo whenver ppl sing rafi songs on reality shows they always end up failing or making fools of themselves. this has not happened with other singers on reality shows(k for kishore is an exception but that was coz sony used falthoo singers anyway)Kishore was great in certain song types.

Rafi will always be the benchmark of all singers forever. QUITE TRUE

As manna dey said, there is NOONE to touch rafi.This is a tragedy.

RFAK is good too but still it is all different. But he did sing some Kishore numbers pretty well.
