The Decor
I have to comment on the decor that you have delineated first. Sorry its a design thing. Anything with colour, sparkles shine, themes, = insanely mad Hannah, due to interior design so hugs for you, because madam you illustrated my dream engagement. Simplicity in its utter perfection. There should be no Riddhima there it should be me š. No no all you people reading Im not trying to take Riddhimas place, but the setting you conveyed was all too beautiful that I truly wished I was present there....... If only....... You are so helping me with the decor for my wedding š
The Ending
I imagined it to be some sort of dream sequence as from the beginning Riddhima woke up it was a beautiful day maybe too beautiful that it foreboded an ominous ending.. Taliyaa madam, you hit bulls eye for Hannah wanting the words written in black characters to continue on to find out the result of this sequenceš
The Poem
There is always a poem needed in a die hard romantic film. It was so so so so so apt for this piece. I was filled with nostalgia, remembering previous scenes with Riddhima, thefirst meeting in the basketball court. When he gave her the kada, when she tore his heart apart and returned the kada and payal, when they got back together, their cute banter.... I was lost in the world of Hannahs DMG memory collection forget Armaan losing his memory, I was lost in a world of memories of my own.... To be honest with you, I wouldn't give a care for the world if I were Armaan and I had lost my memory, because he is so lucky that with or without memory their love is so powerful.......
when blurred memories before me swam,
I looked again, and now I know,
you are what makes me who I am..." - (This is soo going on my siggy that i'm making soon )
These last three lines of the final stanza made me read the poem over (times three) They were so touching. And the word touching TOUCHING will only do suffice to what I truly mean. It makes one as a reader feel that Armaans heart strings are being pulled and every word he emotes is so genuine, filled with so much purity, so much sincerity and oh so much truth.
I bet your eyes are searching for that teeny tiny con that you think I am going to write... well haha, your never going to find it..... because truly there was nothing wrong. You have written a beautifully crafted and flawless piece. (I have embedded this // in the middle of my comment randomly so it drives you insane trying to find it hahahaha love you Nandy Im only messing about with you don't get cross)
Exchanging of the rings
Okay whilst reading your piece I was feeling a little apprehensive and restless that oh there could be a chance that it may not happen. But when I read the paragraph that the exchange the rings, I felt content. I had little smile playing on my lips hehe. I'm talking as if I am the one getting engaged haha š What I liked most about the engagement paragraph, was the fact that you started it with
The moment finally arrived
These 4 words, meant so much. They enclose so much depth and meaning as to how long both Armaan and Riddhima and me haha š have awaited this scene
A simple succint sentence conveys so much emphasism, on how long this scene was anticipated. So kudos to you for implying these language techniques which empahsise so much. Sheer brilliance šš¼
Emotions
Okay amongst most all the comments I have read apporximately 4/5 of the comments I have read so far on your fan fic by all the fab readers have noted somewhere in some form that one of your strengths is writing about emotions. Let me just reinforce that statement once more on behalf of everyone here, because Nandini you really really really really and 50 million reallys later have a way with words. You pen down the emotions so concisely (only emotions not our record breaking pms haha) that it makes one empathize, feel content, love, feel perplex, and every other emotion, towards the characters in this fan fiction. Love it Love it Love it āļø 5 stars
Today one of my poor orchids died. Looked beautiful in a natural manner of decay. I mean if we are looking at something that exists in the finite world subject to decay is inevitable haha philosophy there for you but oh yeh back to my point, my favorite flower died so I cant gift you orchids today, instead I shall be giving you a bouquet of white freesias, because they are also flowers which I love (only white ones though).

just for being the way you are, and being so sweet and so so soooo warm with your replies every time...i don't know how much of the praises i'm really worth, but just getting a response like that, and that too from someone like you, really brings a smile onto my face for the rest of the day and beyond...personally, i'm not very supremely satisfied with this FF of mine, because it's in many ways restricted to themes already established for me rather than me taking the initiative to take AR out of their current setting and putting them in another like most other brilliant FFs do...don't quite know why i wanted to keep them here, in Sanjeevani, around the same characters, with the same traits...my love for DMG as it is, maybe...but it is definitely a restrictive strategy...so i'm apprehensive every time i update, thinking people might find this too cliched and too familiar to read beyond a point...
but you're always the first one to cheer me on, no matter how nervous or forlorn i might be...and i don't think i even need to articulate what that means to someone like me...okay, before i get more senti, i'll get to your actual reply this time...š
the decor...you know, it's something I've always wanted myself...something in sheer white, with a dash of subtle silver...makes the whole idea seem like a vision, and gives it a glow of sorts...somehow, i've alway felt that it could capture the purity and depth of the moment really beautifully, and without pomp and show...that's the kind of feel i've always envisioned, and i thought, what better place to articulate it and put it to some use, than this? and it's going to be the other way round madam, I will be calling you to desgin any such event that might occur in my life...i can pool in with the ideas i'd love to see materialised, and you can then go ahead and wow me with your skill and expertise in interiors...hehe...š
the poem...man, i'm just so happy you liked it...because to be very honet, i was a little apprehensive that it'll see sugary and too silly, suited to cliched bubblegum romances more than AR...but you received it the way i had hoped for every reader to, when i set about writing it...i did try to capture AR in a sort of trip down memory lane, starting from the first time Armaan meets her after his accident, the partial amnesia in place...š
the ring exchange...you know i sort of wrote this part because i felt so many of us had been let down by the manner in which AR actually got engaged on the show...and so, i thought, why not try ad represent it in my FF in a way we couldn't see it on screen so far? It's a bit rushed, though, but i didn't want to drag it on and on into something too long and too descriptive..and thank you sooo much for the representation of emotions bit...really, thank youuu...!!! š
