Vish is happy to hear Purhoit say about the dowry. But Purohiji then says that Shashtri are already giving dowry which is the polite and good nature of their daughter. Everyone feels happy and Vish is making faces. Dadi again says that their whole family is eagerly waiting for their choti bahu and to see their first grandchild. Mrinu feels bad hearing it and taunts dadi. Devki hears it and asks what she said but Vivek interrupts and changes the topic.
It is agreed that he wedding will happen in 10 days. As the Purohits are leaving Dadi says she forgot to get the kangan to take Vish's hand size and she will come in the evening again. Everyone laughs and she says this is not an excuse to come again and Amma tells her its ok as Vish is now their choti bahu they can come all they want.
Vish goes into her room and is angrily removing her jewellery. She is very upset and crying thinking that her career will end before it starts if she gets married. She thinks that once she is married she won't even get to do the role of a bhabhi. She think to tell Purab to make a first meeting with a producer within these 10 days. Vish makes an excuse that she is going one final time to music class to tell her teacher that she won't come anymore and goes out of the house. Brij Mohan is suspicious but Amma lets her go. She goes to Purab to share her problems.
In Purohit house, Purohiji is calling his cousin brother , Susheel but he is not picking up. Dadi comes there and tells him to contact him somehow as he is very sensitive and since he wasn't informed about the shagun, if he doesn't get news of the wedding either he will not attend any ceremonies and make a big deal about it. Purohitji leaves still trying to call Susheel. Dev come to Dadi and asks about the Shagun ceremony. Dadi tells him that she is going back to see Vishakha in the evening and he can come too. Dev says he won't come and Dadi is shocked (so am I). He says that even though he is coming from America he knows the traditions of his family and after Shagun the girl and boy don't meet till marriage as its considered apshagun. Dadi is happy to hear this. She takes him to show the khandani kangan. She says she is going to take Vish's hand size and get it custom made for her. Dev says then why are we waiting lets go and Dadi is shocked. She asks where he is going as he just said he doesn't want to see Vish. Dev says he was just joking and he won't miss a chance to see Vish (lolz..vohi toh..hai Dev is so cute). Dadi warns him to not see Vish and Dev says he will just come with them to their house but he will stay outside and not see Vish but he really wants to see just her hand and how the kandani kangan will look on her hand. Mrinu is watching this and buring with jealousy (poor thing..i feel bad for her).
Devki shares her happiness with Radhika and says she is a little scared too. She asks Radhika since Vish must share all her things with Rads if Vish is happy with this marriage and Rads says yes. Purab tells Vish that there is a guy named Mishra who is coming from Mumbai to take auditions in small towns and he can get her registered for an audition. While they are talking Brij Mohan sees them and angrily takes Vish away from there.
Dadi comes to see Vish and Dev is left outside. He thinks that the more he has to wait the more he gets restless. Dadi comes and Devki apologizes because Vish is not home. She makes some excuse. Dadi says that she has to give the kangan today to the goldsmith so that he can do the work before wedding and if she doesn't give him today then it might be too late. Devki tells Dadi to take Radhika's hand size as it's the same as Vish. Amma is sitting there gesturing Devki not to suggest such a thing and Rads is also uncomfortable with it. But Dadi asks her to show her hand and she puts the kangan on Rads. Amma takes Devki aside and scolds her and says that Rads should be kept away from all wedding related things and now you have given Vish's destiny into Rad's hands.
Dev gets bored of standing and goes inside the car and he was about to play a CD that falls down from his hand and he bend to pick it up when Vish and Brij Mohan come back. He doesn't see them and Brij comes inside in anger but seeing Dadi he calms down. Amma is happy and tells Dadi to now take VIsh's hand size and they tell Rads to remove the kangan but the kangan is stuck in her hand. Dadi tries to remove it too but it doesn't come off and Rads is worried. Amma tells Devki that this is the apshagun that has happened because of Radhika. END>
