I have tons of mixed reactions about this one shot and because of that, I REALLY want EVERYONE to be honest with what you think, it'll only help me after when I write other stuff okay? š³ Thanks! *hugs*
"Pari! Pari!" Preet called out as he ran a hand through his hair. Ever since he got home all he could think about was his little daughter, Gungun. His mother had named her and frankly Preet wasn't very happy with the name but he wasn't about to tell Meher that and so he started calling his adorable daughter by the name most appropriate for her. "PARI!"
The moment he had stepped into the house Meher had pounced on him and told him everything their daughter had been through at pre-school. She was only 4 and so they had enrolled her in pre-school following the Canadian educational ways. But apparently today wasn't a good day for their Gungun. She had been teased today for something that was really Meher's fault and Preet hated that their daughter had to bear the teasing. His Pari hated it every day when her mother applied oil to her hair but every time Meher was stubborn, no one could convince her, not even the sweet face of their daughter.
"Pari! Kahan ho tum?" Preet had cast aside his blazer and rolled up his sleeves as he searched for his daughter. Finally he crouched down on all fours and crawled to look for his tiny daughter. "Pari?" He heard a light sniffling sound and so he inched closer to the table where the sound was coming from and saw two pony tails sticking out from underneath. He smiled softly as he went closer.
"Papa ki Pari udaas hain?" Preet asked in a soft tone.
The ponytails wiggled and then crept lower as his adorable daughter came into view. "Papa?"

"Haan mera bacha?" Preet reached out and pulled his daughter towards him, letting her sit in his lap. "Mama ne kaha ke aaj ka din bahot bura tha?"
Gungun nodded. "Mujhe school nahin jaana hain,"
"Hmm," Preet nodded. "Main bhi bilkul tumhari tara tha pehle. Lekin ab dekha? Papa bahot baare ho gaye hain na?"
"Lekin Papa. Woh log alag hain. Humare jaise nahin hain," Gungun groaned. "Hum alag kyun hain? Aur Papa pata hain? Woh log mujhe kya bulate hain?"
"Kya Pari?" Preet hugged his daughter closer.
"Gun gun," she started crying big fat tears that tugged at Preet's heart."Woh bandukh hoti hain na?"
"Meri Pari kyun ro rahi hain? Woh sab bhuddhu hain," Preet pinched his daughter's nose.
She nodded slowly. "I know,"
"Oh? Meri Pari English seekh rahi hain?"
"Haan Papa," Pari grinned as she hugged herself closer to her father. "Mere saath hi yeh sab kyun hota hain Papa?"
"Kya bacha?" Preet asked, a line forming on his forehead.
"Chahat di ko to koi nahin pareshaan karta, aur Tannu di? Ketan bhaiyya? Un sab ko kyun nahin hota. Sab mere hi saath hota hain," She sniffled.
"Kyunki tum sabse special ho Pari," Preet smiled. "Kyunki tum meri baachi ho!"
"Saach Papa?" Gungun wiped away her tears and looked up at her father."Main special hoon?"
"Saach meri baachi," Preet winked at her before leaning his forehead closer to his daughters. "I love you,"
"I love you too Papa," She jumped up and ran back towards the playroom as Preet got up and shook his head.

He had never imagined that he, Preet Juneja, would have a little daughter and that too such a cute one. It gave him a sense of responsibility that he was proud of and he just hoped that even when his little daughter grew up their relationship would remain the same. But for now, he was on his way to have a little chat with his wife.
Remember, totally honest comments please? š I don't care if I get bashed for writing it, I just am in need of totally honest comments! š
