I read all the arguments in this thread and found them very interesting . Although its late ....seeing that the latest post was only yesterday I too feel tempted to give my opinion of the finals . I will go point by point .
The Walk Out is not sporting point : Walk Out is a form of civilized protest . People all over the world use it to express protest . Like one member pointed out ....parliamentarians , cricketers , and many others use it to express dissatisfaction with judgements . And this is a reality show.....where people sit excitedly to watch disputes just like they watch a WWF match . A walk out is completely in keeping with the spirit of a reality show . Although some feel that it is not ' sporting ' and some have given the example of Sandhya Mridul who graciously accepted defeat , I wish to ask ......what was the outcome of that graciousness ? Prachi walked away with that prize money didn't she ?There were many who felt that Prachi got the prize only coz she was Ekta's stooge and Jeetendra was Ekta's dad . And Ekta and the show makers were even asked about this in interviews but they shrugged it off . Not a thing cud be done about the unfair judgement .........coz the judges , the show are in a sense invincible. The real outcome was this....Sandya stood there graciously , everyone was afraid to utter the word " Partiality ! " and Prachi walked away with the prize. In Bakhtyar's case , atleast the walk out embarassed the show makers and the judges . He didnt take it lying down . Whethher he desrved to win or not is a matter of opinion but the point here is that judges of a reality show and the people behind them who pull strings do need some sort of check , and walk outs can be those checks as they ' embarass ' the show . They do need to justify their reasons for some of their controversial judgements. Otherwise the results of each reality show will be the same.....an undeserving person walks away with money while the ' good ' loser graciously smiles and no one dares to talk openly . Openness is a vital quality of a reality show so saying Walk outs r not sporting is just not done.2] Did the Boys deserve to win or the girls point : I feel this is strictly a matter of opinion . One thing was clear .....the girls did dance their best that particular day compared to all their performances earlier , they gave it their best shot . Perhaps the boys wud not have exactly walked out and accepted defeat graciously if in the Bakhtyar Karisma round , Bakhtyar had won instead of Karsima. Ashita gave him a tough fight but undoubtedly many agree that in the Karisma case , Bakhtyar shud have won . Since they made Karisma the winner , it became a blunt controversy from then on .Many feel that the issue was not Bakhtyar losing but how he lost it . And he being a real good dancer , it was a bit too much for many to stomach that even Karisma won against him .3 ] Selection of the judges and Saroj khan's comments point : There is no doubt that the way Saroj khan talked was too rude and rather crass . The boys did not protest using crass language . They protested , but didn't talk impolitely. Saroj khan used words like " NAmard ' etc which was totally uncalled for . She can tell the boys she is disappointed , that their protest is petty .....like Malaika did , but definetely not such language . Such language is ugly and inspite of it , Bakhtyar didn't retaliate by listening to Delnaaz ......which was very gentlemanly of him .What I wish to say here is , what were the show makers exactly thinking when they brought in Chunky Pandey as a judge ? Chunky pandey is absolutely not known for his dancing skills like Rishi Kapoor . Govinda , Mithun , Shammi kapoor .......actors of yesteryear who rocked in their dances. In fact , any of the above actors were good options for being judges. Definetely not Chunky Pandey who only dressed like a clown , talked flirtatiously all the time and only agreed with Malaika.....not once did he show any acumen with a sound independent judgement .Saroj Khan had a history of professional bickering with Shiamak Davar .....so was there any reason to bring her in as a third judge where clearly Bakhtyar who has a close connection to Shiamak was gonna compete on behalf of the boys ?Again , it was a real silly decision to bring her in .Malaika may be just an item song dancer but ok....at least she knows something about dance and most of the time she was the only one who impartially analysed the dances . In the three.....she alone was at least fit to be a judge . But better judges cud have been available if efforts were taken .4] Saroj Khan's comment that sirf haat pair hilane se dancer nahi hote : Please . I mean please , please please . The same goes to her too as literally all her dances have only and only one move .....thrusting bust and wiggling butts. If clips of all her dances were shown at that moment at the boys insistence she wud have fallen flat on her face. Btw , Malaika's dance that day was more like a drill of physical training ! So this comment was unacceptable .5] Bakhtyar's arrogance point : A lot has been said about how Bakhtyar is arrogant and has a chip on the shoulder......my point is that his arrogance doesn't make him any less a good dancer . Whether he is arrogant or not is another issue.....good dancer he definetely is . So look at him only as a dancer .All said and done , reality shows need some serious check and balance system . An open opinion poll of public.....a screen flashing there live itself ?? Something ! This way , both , the participants and the judges will be checked and will understand if shown on the spot what public thinks of the going ons . I hope they seriously consider this .

My opinion in a nutshell is this ......Girls better or boys, matter of opinion .But there can be no justification for crass language . That too , by a senior like Saroj Khan. The boys were obviously very very dissatisfied with the judgement but did they use foul words ? No. They tried to speak in decent language . For instance , since anyway they were gonna do a walk out they cud have had a shot at answering some of Saroj khan's rude comments in this way ..........
