After having seen the finals yesterday, my heart went out to Bakhtyar but the restraint he showed at the end was something I never expected of him.
I am a lady and i can say without any bias that he was better in both the solo dances but was handed out a very harsh judgement. It looked like the 3 ladies on the judge's chair had a grind against him.
I know that Saroj khan has always had a problem with him and this not only from Nach Baliye but from the early age when Bakhtyar was a well known choreographer in the mumbai circles (not for films but stage shows) and his closeness with Shiamak (his mentor) never helped. But I did not expect a lady like to take the grudge so far and be that critical.
In her end Tirade she was taking out the years pent up frustration and saying things like 'Vahiyat Nach kiya tha' , 'sirf kudne ko dance nahi bolte', she was just taking out all her anger on Bakhtyar.
When I read the spoiler, i was hating Bakhtyar as I never liked him due to his arrogance. But even a novice could tell that he had danced better in both rounds and even if he was given 1 win out of the 2, i would have thought, its okay. But he was getting one of the most shocking judging i have seen.
and even the girls team knew that he danced better, when in the Ashita round, the judgement was delivered - see the expression on face of Rupali, Mouni, Karishma and Delnaaz (they had their hands on their mouth out of sheer shock). If you see the video again, it is clear from their expression as to what they thought. Even Ashita was dumb founded at the result.
In the end when Saroj was going on with her tirade, he grabbed the mike from Gauravs hand and wanted to give a piece of his mind, when i saw the camera pan to the girls and they were saying 'DONT SAY ANYTHING' specially Delnaaz. I Salute him coz it is very easy to have given a piece of his mind after all the insults that were targetted to him, but he kept his nerve. It is very difficult for a short tempered arrongant man to do that and he deserves his applause.
I may not be popular with the other girls on this forum, but I am saying just what i felt. It was sheer injustice to Bakhtyar that personal vendetta was taken out on him and I Salute him for listening to his Sister and keeping quiet.

After leading the boys to such a drastic uncalled step - did Bakhtiyar have a face to say anything?.Even if i say Saroj Khan was 100% wrong, if bakhtyar is justified in what he did then in every competition around the world whenever someone thinks that the judges are biased, he/she can just walk out of competitions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bakhtyar was sulking so badly during girl's competition - what was the girls' fault? Why push the girls? - they were only giving in their best in a competition.
If you want to protest, even that can be done but in a more digified manner. After Ashita was announced winner, the boys' behaviour showed more of a thumbs down to Ashita than a thumbs down to jugdges.
Even if Saroj Khan was unfair, Bakhtyaar's behaviour was just uncalled for....
And giving giving salutations to him for this is more ridiculous!

if judges are not ready to listen, and if judges are not even in mood to see the dance, then why waste everyone's time. if judges were great and mahan, then why didn't they show some kind of feeling, rather than just making the situation even worst then what it was

I completely agree... it was really infair! The judges made the issue even worse and I didnt like how Saroj n Mallika were practically screaming.... they did give bad judgements n thts their fault!

I agree with you. They were so immature. Except Amay of course..its not like he knew what to do. But yeah, they were soo dumb! If you can't handle defeat, then don't enter a competition! Jeez.

I agree!!

I did not feel sorry for them AT ALL!!
And Baktiyar, was Such a coward, Who showed he didnt deserve to win, by walking off the stage like a baby!

And Point to be noted, the boys sent baktiyar, in every performance except hum tum...How cowardly!! They practically just admitted no one on the team knows how to dance except Baktiyar..
