He was there in his room… the sun had already went away but the lights were not put on… this invited darkness in the room...he was sitting on his bed..There was a photo album lying before him..it was closed and so were his eyes… but he wasn't sleeping..He was breathing his past years...reliving his own life again…

He was 11 then… seated in his school bus… full of happiness… enjoying his time with his friends…It was his birthday...he didn't want to go home but his stop arrived…He bid goodbye to his friends n got out of the bus...

He walked back home…it was still afternoon… the sun was shinning bright..He was a little sad as he didn't want to leave his friends… but then his attention was caught by his new video game his mother had brought for him; his birthday present… n then he wanted to reach home fast…he wanted it…His steps became bigger n he started walking fast…thinking of his favorite games n planning new tricks to win more games…get through more levels…

He saw the front gate of his house...He became happy...he opened d gate n walked inside…but he forgot about his game…his interest was taken away by voices coming from the next room…he hid himself behind d wall n payed attention to what was happening inside…

A lady was shouting…his mom was shouting…yea , his mom was shouting… n then his dad was shouting too…he couldn't make out what exactly they were saying…but it was clear that they were having an argument…n then his mom sat on d sofa n broke into tears…she was not shouting now…was just sitting there sobbing hard…while his dad disappeared through the door to his bedroom…

He was still standing there hiding behind the wall…shud he get inside d room ?…shud he make them aware of his presence ? he was caught in his questions making the moments go by…before he could make his decision, he saw his dad coming inside the room again..This time with a suitcase in his hand…his face was straight n he didn't say a word…his mom was as silent as his dad...n then his dad left and as he left he cud see his mother's tears flowing down her cheeks…his dad didn't pay attention to him while he got out of the room …his eyes following his dad until he left the house… his eyes moved through the room and on the table he saw a beautiful chocolate cake, his favorite, with the words iced with white icing; HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAY..!!

awwwwwwwwww...................poor guy !! Thats soo sad to see his parents break up !! and that too on his birthday....he'll hate his birthdays for the rest of his life now !!!
