Thank you so much for the details of the past..
I hope it doesn’t come to that point..
If it were to happen, Karan and Nandini should be around to stop it.. so that their son’s life doesn’t go for a toss by running behind a rich brat like Mittali..
You’re welcome
I hope my hunch is wrong too because Hemant too got his happy ending with Pooja in the first season.
The reason Payal was able to fool him was also because Pooja was married off to someone else. Hemant was heartbroken at losing the girl he loved and she was able to manipulate him into thinking that they were both in the same boat. She convinced him that she had a change of heart and held no grudges against Mihir and Tulsi, how she understood that her own behaviour and shortcomings drove him away. She understood why he would fall in love with Tulsi over her.
Payal somehow made him believe his failed relationship with Pooja and her failed engagement with Mihir were similar situations and they both can understand each other so much better because they have suffered similarly.
Hemant buys her lies and Gayatri is more than happy to approve Payal over Pooja so they become a couple. But ultimately Payal’s truth is out. I think the cousins team up to expose her or make her confess or something, a bit hazy on the details.
Hemant discovers post his broken engagement with Payal about Pooja’s husband being on his deathbed as he was suffering from last stage cancer or tumour or kidney failure or something. He is moved to see her struggling to look after her husband and shows up as a friend to help her in whatever way he can. At some point the dying husband discovers their history and willingly gives them his blessings and asks Pooja to move on, apologising to her about marrying her in the first place. He hadn’t known he was so terminally ill when they were getting married and that his condition would deteriorate so exponentially within months of their marriage.
Hemant eventually marries Pooja despite Gayatri’s disapproval and absolute contempt for the match.
Hilariously that was the common thread - Savita, Daksha and Gayatri- all end up with bahus they dislike initially, all but one - Aarti.
Daksha’s rejection of Prajakta has nothing to do with her financial background but the fact that she’s from a Marathi family that has non-veg food and she thinks that Prajakta won’t be able to adjust and follow Gujarati customs and traditions and is horrified by the idea of her grandchildren eating meat and fish.
Ironically it is Aarti who turns out to be the rotten egg amongst all the Bahus!
But yeah, I digressed a lot. Hope Parth finds a girl who is more like his grandmother Tulsi than his actual grandmother Mandira
