Singhaniyas and Maheshwaris were real base for success of this show... Had legacy started with Goenkas, show would have been off aired long ago, I feel... He used to give really good scope to family in terms of story and all heck in Bidaii even Ambika and Gen - 1 also has their own set of Kalesh... every sidey was important there...

Gen 2 se over focusing only on leads and using family as pawn was so off putting... And same is being done in Upmaa now... Wahan toh leads bhi nai, ek hi aurat ke aage peeche ghum raha hai show...

Upma is their sagi show, rishta is sautela!!!

Thank you for the Tag. I came to know Goenka's in gen4 only, coz apart from 1-2 years of gen 1 I was not following rishta. But by the time I came to know about them, they had become beegi billi with no paisa, let alone security guards😂😂😂.

But Manish Goenka is going to be missed largely because of Sachin Sir and his charisma. I low key wanted Sachin Sir to enter as Kairav so that he can be there for another couple of gen😁.

But now though I am not even sure if I will be there for next gen🤷‍♀️.

That will be great if he can come back as Kairav. I never watched previous seasons, so idk neither I care what geonkas did in the past. All I know that they were the one sane family in this gen season and Manish actor especially has a strong presence. He really made the show feel like a rishta show as he was connected to the past seasons and he just fits so well in the character that I really liked watching his scenes with every character. I miss the Geonkas. The show doesn’t feel the same without them :(

IMO Goenka’s ka Sasta Copy aka Kothari’s are better than them as they’re not criminals and show Pumaa and Shahs their aukat.
