“Jamai Raja” Storyline where Durga is Abhira, her daughter Roshini is Maira and Siddarth is the new Gen5 ML

Durga Devi (DD) Patel and her daughter have many misunderstandings, and differences between them. DD is a wealthy jewellery designer. Her daughter, Roshni Patel believes that her mother does not love her and does not give her time, and only loves money. Due to this reason; she hates DD and never behaves well with her. The show starts by showing Roshni getting her kids at the NGO she manages ready for school, and it is shown that it is her birthday. She goes to the airport with her Nani to pick up DD who is returning to India. Meanwhile, DD is shown to be arrogant. On her flight, she is seated next to Siddharth Khurrana; who seeing how arrogant DD is decides to mess with her and act like a middle-class person; who has no manners or etiquette. When DD meets Roshni, she hugs her and tells her that she should have dressed better. She gives Roshni a heap of birthday gifts but does not wish her a happy birthday as she did in the past. Roshni meets Siddharth and he acts like a middle-class man . . .

Gen5 should be roughly KaNk plot just that FL here should be single. Let her todo ML ka ghar and enjoy the kaleesh

Maybe gen 5 can try supernatural stuff n copy Sasural Simar ka's Dayan Naagin Chudail Pataali devi shaitaan simar bani makkhi which here will be maira bani makkhi story

Maira's sasural Wale can be naag naagin's Dayan n all n maira the unaware stupid human falls for a naag n later helps her in laws fight their enemies by herself turning into half human half makkhi

So maira is obviously gonna be a doormat/blind in love typa FL

I'm hoping Gen 5 is the closing generation (five generations are enough for legacy shows, plus I think they should be in odd numbers), so it should be wholesome with a good balance between kalesh, romance, positivity, actual problem-solving, a semi-modern setting, not a huge joint family but enough members for side-plots.

With Maira's childhood she should have enough trauma and distrust about family setups. Someone suggested Sasural Goenda Phool, another person suggested Jamaica Raja, something inspired by both and taking elements of both will be good. A slightly bratty FL, a solid, caring, happy ML, a love story with actual growth.
