Housefull 5 collected 5.25 crore nett on its second Friday which is around 12% down from Thursday

Still the number is just about good enough to keep on track for and AVERAGE succcess but for that it has to consolidate over the weekend and get that growth which holdover films get. Basically the film is going to be middling success like Kesari 2 but you take that for Kesari 2 as nothing much is expected but with Housefull 5 the expectations are much more so middling success looks disappointing. In todays time it is a must that these established franchises become HIT films because outside franchise its very tough to get initial audience.

Sooryavanshi had a budget of 200 from what i recall and it made arnd 190 india net. Those were different times..cinema running at 50% capacity and soorya was the 1st post pandemic movie to mark the return of audience to cinemas.

No..the verdicts for these 3 are as below,

SF: Below average

K2: Average

H5: Below average to Average. Struggling to get to average tag atm

This happens or i would say perks of giving back to back disasters..anything which even escapes the disaster tag becomes worth a celebration. It is like kangana giving an opening exceeding 2cr..her fans will start celebrating..

Of course, H5 is "ruling the box office"...there is no (real) competition at the moment (better movies may be) - until Friday. The numbers and praising is nothing but window dressing...I don't think that relative to the audience, people are so gullible to believe all this.
