Last season CSK did pretty well considering the fact that Pathirana, Mustafizur and some others left the squad for national duty.

Our batting was dependent on Dube for hitting too, we had Daryl Mitchell at 4 and constant changes in opening pair.

This year it was supposed to be good because everyone thought we replaced Theekshana with Ashwin who's more experienced and have knowledge about the conditions at Chepauk. Khaleel for Chahar was really change. Noor was a good pick.

Ashwin is definitely good in terms of cricketing knowledge and analysis but CSK overspent on him.

They should try Ellis again. Pathirana gives too many wides and only bowls 1 over well n the end . This year he's not getting wickets also.

I agree with Ellis over Pathirana thing.

Definitely Ellis is a better bowler and has a lot of variations. But there are few places where Pdogg contradicts himself.

Saying CSK shouldn't have gone for Noor, Bringing Ellis in place of Pathirana only to slot Ashwin in playing XI is some of them.

In some match analysis, he just criticized the players who performed too but didn't speak a word about Ashwin's performance

For RR Ashwin used to come for batting and hit a few runs or 6 s atleast.

RR s stronger. They have Parag, Jurel, Hetmeyer in middle order.

Sanju s a power hitter. Jaiswal is not n form as he s lost focus.

Theekshana s bowling tight overs.

My only issue in IPL is team spends hell lot of money on foreign players but they don't even play that well.. Be it pat, head, rachin even after so much international exposure..i l understand it is to pull international players but when they don't play well are they even held responsible? ..All local talents are doing much better than them even on their debut.. I remember Sam curran was bought as highest bid in 23 but his performance was below par

SRH will win surely the next few games. They have power hitters. They just need to play carefully. Skill set s there. Just need to tune themselves mentally.
