He was with RR till now..if he had strong backing he must have stayed with Chennai from the beginning..Csk dint do well for a very long time from the time dhoni quit Captaincy.. Jadeja came they faced similar fate.. Last season few wins few misses.. This year same streak continues..

Dhoni is an instinct captain whereas Rutu is someone who believes on numbers and analysis.

On Ashwin's youtube channel, Pdogg was telling to bring Pathirana and Noor in pp and bowl Ashwin in middle overs.

We bought Noor only for his ability to pick wickets in middle overs. Pathirana is doing great in death. Why to change it was my question after watching those analysis!!

Like i said some day ago. If you are playing MS then make him captain or blindly follow him like a puppet. Else don't play him and build a new team.

Ashwin has joined India cements last year. Next year he may be an analyst or mentor with CSK. That's why they bought him.

Next year CSK will have even bigger issue.

No back up for Rutu. All good players r already taken.

And they r so empathetic that they won't release Conway and Rachin also.
