This is my journey with this show.

When the promo came I wasn’t sure whether I would watch or not (had bad experience with Swastik mytho shows). Then I decided to give it a try and liked its presentation. After 4th episode when Sujay entered the show I was hooked to it as he was divine as Shri Rama. TBH I was skeptical of his casting but after this show he is one of my favorite actors of ITV. He excelled as Shri Rama( though the characterization was sometimes different from the Valmiki Ramayana). Prachi, Basant, Nirbhay, Nikhilesh, My supermodel Samarthya, Nikitin, Shourya, Atharva and rest of the cast did their part so well. Wish them all the best for their future endeavors.

This show was close to VR initially and that’s why I loved it. They did some blunder with the Yuddh Kand but till coronation show was good.

Don’t want to talk about UK as I only have negative things related to that

The best thing that happened to me while watching this show was this forum.SR started airing in YouTube with full episodes and I was content posting comments beneath the videos.They were basically aimed for the novice viewers of the epic.I thought it was a moral duty to post excerpts from VR.Found some good people over there and was happy typing away my thoughts.Then all of a sudden the full episodes got blocked in India .So there was no way to express my views and then I decided to join this forum even though I knew about the existence of the platform long time back.I joined and it was a breath of fresh air .I think I posted around the time when Yuddh kand just started airing .Reading the playful banter,funny nicknames and trolling the PH was a delight to read.

I used to laugh a lot at minion's comments although that guy quickly became a phantom.I missed his sarcastic and cynical remarks.

I liked teasing chatty ( chatterbox). Apologies chatty if I made u feel awkward.It was unintentional.U were the initiators or the front runner in all the EDTs

Im grateful to Ananya for posting funny twitter rants and clips from escaping muggles.It was because of u that I got to see the important clips because I was not able to watch them on the same day.It did require effort.At times I could tell that she was totally frustrated but focussed more on posting clips and didn't indulge in venting until it became tolerable for her as well.😁.I could understand where it was coming from😁

RamAayenge was like a little enthusiastic child curiously reading everything this forum had to offer though at times she raged and ranted.😁😁 and had a melt down 😁😁.I hope she joins today in the last edt by sparing sometime.Dost ,hope u could take out sometime and respond in the IF.

SilverBell was accepting in her write ups.No criticism but plain acceptance.Perhaps she/ he has grown used to the no.of members posting / ranting for different shows.So she has become immune.

I guess my interaction with cuteamanboy and Tanya were quite limited.Thank u for responding and interacting.

Its sad that I got to interact with divine ram only towards the end.The member had some pretty good insights about the epic.

Rest members were most of the times silent and respectful or couldn't care less 😁😁😁 lol.

Dear Swastik ,

I know earning money is the most important thing in this industry and u r the one risking the most when a show is aired but if u focus on the quality of a project,it will draw the viewers to u like a magnet even when they are swamped by OTT platforms and series.

For Swastik 's poor portrayal of the epics,the only one responsible for this is audience who have no clue about their own epics and hence rely on TV shows and then keep on requesting to extend a mythological show.One of the reasons why series like Radha krishna became a superhit show.

Wake up audience.One of the reasons I kept on posting excerpts from VR is for the beginner viewers who never read a book to know more about our culture and the high moral values.Pls read your epics ,know it's deeper meaning and improve your mind.

I don't know about your previous projects as I have stopped watching Indian TV shows.Guess u are a rookie in this field.One of the most sincere persons in this show were u.While for some,acting came naturally and instinctively in this show,for u it was a bit difficult yet u r one of the few who put in a lot of hard work.I felt there was a certain inhibition about u expressing yourself.

And for heaven's sake,I never understood why Swastik portrayed your character Bharata as a weakling who was totally dependent on his brother.Your character shared a lot of core qualities with your eldest brother;u were an able administrator who trained how to be a king for many years in Kaikeya .Yet here they showed ur character as a hapless,clueless but an extremely loyal person.The fact that Rama could rule over the most capable people ( people in Ayodhya,) as well as leading a group of Vanaras from kishkindha( who were quite prosperous ) to fight for him with no weapons but only tree trunks ,stones etc ,when he didn't have an inch of land in his name itself is a proof of his brilliant leadership qualities.They didn't have to show other characters as weak or unable to form a decision.Anyways all the best to u .!!

The only reason I watched this farce of a show was you.If u were not the lead,this show would have tanked long back even with the same actors playing their respective role.The passable Trp ratings this show received with u as the main lead would have dropped further , had someone else played your role.Then the production house would have pulled the plug from this show. You carried the entire show on your shoulders by your acting.Of course your stylist and the camera man deserves praise too.They made u look very well in front of the camera.Your whole being lights up like seasoned actors when the camera starts rolling.You present an easy going ,goofy demeanor off the camera .After November 2024 ,u seemed to have lost your zeal and fervour for the show. The contentment u showed while playing the role started declining and as the show progressed ,it dipped further and u looked as if u just want to get it done.The exhaustion slowly changed to exasperation and finally looked as if you couldn't wait for the project to be over. U could never be blamed for this though.

This show could have been a cult classic , timeless as well as a benchmark for any future adaptations on epics-had the production house didn't mess up by using inferior and low grade vfx,artificial locations( using the same sets multiple times for different places )and worse, by roping in clueless writers at the last moment,bringing actors who have no relevance to the progression of story,creating hypothetical antagonists,showing Harry Potter like adventures in Yuddha kand and of Luv and kusha and worst ,giving 6 whole months to " Swastik,'s Uttar kand" .If they could have wrapped it up beautifully by October - November 2024,the show could have been unparalleled at least for the next 10 years.

Anyways,hope u get lots of opportunities in web shows and OTT platforms and not just get stereotyped or stick to mythological shows.All the best! It's a tough industry to crack and even tougher to gain a strong foothold in terms of good roles ( for they are sparse ,hidden behind heaps of trashy shows ) and at the same time earning a decent livelihood from it.Still you could pat yourself in the back that u have at least 1 memorable role under your belt.Wish u all the best in your future endeavours !! Its been an indelible journey for me as a viewer.Thank u..

U are a good actor who has been sincere in your portrayal of the character.The 2 scenes where u were absolutely great and snatched away the limelight from the protagonist ( which is a huge thing ) were your face off scene with Shurpanakha before chopping off her nose and when u inquire about Sugreeva thunderously to give him a warning.U did full justice to the character at that stage.

Swastik really did dirty to u by portraying your character as a temperamental ,impulsive person ,at times an arrogant one.This is farther from the truth.

Lakshman was the backbone of Shree Rama,a strong shoulder for him who nurtured and motivated him like a baby when he was grief or panic stricken.Swastik gave all your dialogues to either Rama or Hanuman which is a brainless thing to do.But u r someone who reads a lot and has a passion for making good cinema.So u must have figured the loopholes in the show a long time ago yet kept quiet.I hope we get to see u soon as a director also.Hope u get good projects in both acting and direction..!!

Dear Miss Bansal ,

U r a beautiful woman who looks utterly divine , feminine and graceful.Im sure u don't need others to say this to u.The scenes where u acted well was the conversation between the lead couple when younwere persuading Rama to take u to forest and dialogues before the Sita parityag scenes .Your conversation with the lead protagonist was articulated well enough.

Like other actors,I'm sure u have put in a lot of hard work for the show but pls work on your facial expressions,and diction.These are the lifelines for an actor.Pls find some good movie mentors for yourself if u want to make a mark for urself in the industry .All the best.!
