Getting launched by SLB with his last 3 iconic films being HDDCS, Devdas, Black is apparently the same as getting launched by a debut director in a small YRF film . The entire industry was there for Sawariya premiere. Btw BBB was rejected by RK before Adi Chopra began to consider others.

Before Ramleela , SLB had fallen off the popularity/ influence charts completely. Kareena had walked out of the film. Motwane was fresh off the success of Udaan , again he was a small content film maker.

DDD was first offered to RK and Bebo and when they rejected it, it went to RS and PC.

RK fans are like Bebo fans...career history revisionism karne chale hai. Raj Kapoor ka pota has had the same privilege as a rich builder's son. Okay

Ranveer and Vicky auditioned. I remember Ranveer and Vicky discussing their struggle to become an actor. Till date Sonam's family never casted Ranveer

Ranbir, Kareena, Hrithik and Abhishek had easy access. So did Sara, Janhvi, Ananya. Though Ananya's dad is not that popular kjo gave her opportunities as a Sara or Jahnvi.

And at the end of the day, what’s the point if some people start off with way more privilege than others? Vicky getting his first film itself was a privilege. The fact that YRF gave Ranveer a whole contract right at the start? Huge privilege, millions would kill for that. And Vicky still getting more chances even after his first film flopped? That’s privilege too. Just because Ranbir has even more privilege than both of them doesn’t erase the fact that they had it easier than most. There are millions who would die to have what Vicky and Ranveer got.

That’s just the price you pay for being #1. You can’t talk about the ones below without comparing them to him. Vicky’s hits? Gotta measure them against Ranbir’s. Ranveer’s talent? Gotta stack it up next to Ranbir’s. Who’s more privileged between Vicky and Ranveer? Well, let’s put it next to Ranbir’s privilege and see.
