Ranveer Allahbadia, the YouTuber-podcaster behind "BeerBiceps," found himself in hot water after a provocative remark on comedian Samay Raina’s show 'India's Got Latent.' His question, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?" triggered massive backlash from netizens and public figures alike.
The uproar reached political corridors, with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis commenting on the issue, emphasizing that "freedom has limits." Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate condemned the remark as "perverse," and digital creator Aashish Chandorkar highlighted the need for ethical digital content.
Faced with mounting criticism, Allahbadia issued an apology, admitting to a "lapse in judgment." He promised to remove the insensitive content and better curate his platform. "My comment wasn't inappropriate; comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many asked, Is this how I used the platform? to which he stated, 'Obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened; I am just here for the apology. I personally had a lapse, and judgment wasn't cool on my path. The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I don't want to be the person that takes that responsibility lightly, and family is the last thing that I would disrespect. Need to use this platform better; that's been my learning from this whole experience. I promised to just get better; I have asked the makers to remove the insensitive sections from the video, and all I can say in the end is, Sorry, I hope you can forgive me as a human being," he said.

(1) Neelesh Misra on X: "“Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life — or would you join in once and stop it forever?” Meet the perverted creators who are shaping our country’s creative economy. I am sure each one has a following of millions. This content is not designated as" / X

However, a surprising twist emerged when a post on X revealed that Allahbadia's controversial question wasn't original. A resurfaced video showed comedians from the OG Crew cracking the exact same joke on a different YouTube show two weeks earlier. The clip features a woman named Sam and a man named Allen laughing over the remark, sparking debate over whether Allahbadia was unfairly singled out for repeating content that already existed online.

Where's the backlash coming from? Do 'families' watch that show ? What he said was crass but that's nothing new, they've said worse things there. In the same episode a woman says she wants a man who is 6ft four inches tall and "neeche se at least six ". 🙄. Ranveer Allaha's entire existence on YouTube has been offensive. People should be more concerned about the pseudo science he pushes in the name of spirituality. Looks like the no fap thing is backfiring on him,he's started to fantasise about parents having sex.

I did love what Raina said though " Ranveer Bhai, yahan hum guests ki g m***te hain , ch***te nahi ". 😆

IF has some new rule of how the comments are toxic and insulting and it’s not letting me post something unfiltered and politically incorrect. Anyway the traffic is so less on this forum and now they are restricting folks by those stupid errors. Way to go IF..don’t know for how much longer will this site survive with such stifling rules.

Beerbiceps is trash and a piece of garbage. 🗑️

Akash's response 😆😆😆

Ranveer has apologised to 'every woman in this country '. Why? Don't drag women into your mess. We are not offended; we are smirking and not one bit surprised. So I'm guessing RA's parents are changing their locks asap and would be refusing gifts like teddy bears vases etc from him in the future.
